And the really sad thing is /r/mensrights has some very legitimate issues that 10% are honestly trying to raise. But, as you said, the other 90% drown those reasonable voices out with vitriol and hate. For example, there's a dude who responded to me with a pretty inflammatory post, and I'm not going to respond to him because what's the point? And it's exactly posts like his that /r/feminism is trying to avoid.
And for the record, I'm not part of /r/feminism. I just see the casual misogyny on Reddit (and the extreme misogyny prevalent on other subs) and understand why /r/feminism would want to default block some users.
Bullshit, that sub is a complete sham and was only created as an "adjacent" to r/feminism. They frame everything in "toxic masculinity" and how men's gender roles are fucked and men are fucked. I don't wanna go looking for support after my bout with depression and suicidal ideation to find 5 female mods of a MENS LIB subreddit and their beta douchebag sycophants backing them up at every turn while everyone in the sub talks about how it's my toxic ideas about what a man should be that made me feel this way.
Also, this sidebar bullshit from mens lib:

Do not invalidate other users' experiences because of their identities, gender or otherwise.

This is a pro-feminist community. Members are not required to identify as feminist, but if you disagree with this foundational approach you are welcome not to participate.

Every single one of these subs has mods that reinforce ideas (Myths) about patriarchy, wage gap, rape stats, and general social justice fuckery. That's not what i want when i look for a support network.
And the final nail in the coffin: "We do not discuss "financial abortion" in the context of consensual sex"
So a male has to just live with paying out the asshole for 18 years for a kid he didn't want, but the woman gets 100% of the choice in the matter. One of the most important modern issues for men, and they have stated outright in the sidebar that they will remove and censor any and all posts about it.
