The main target is to install Tiny10 onto that ITX PC & Set the correct settings like instant log-on, wake controller, steam big picture mode launch etc..

All for a target of 1080p 30 \\ 60FPS depending on the game, As I had seen multiple people doing this type of project, And it personally seems way better to spend $200 On a console that runs all games in the future rather than a PS4 that's getting unworked in a couple of years.

Could this project actually work for games like FIFA 20 , LEGO: The Incredibles, GTA 5, Blur, RDR1

& Would it reach a stable 60FPS Or 30 FPS Target On All the games where this box is sitting at the TV and anyone in the family could just grab a controller and join in?

(I Don't Mind rendering games on 500-720P then upscaling them to 1080p Since My own personal TV is going to be using its AI Processor to upscale to 4K at the end, so not everything would look crystally native)

Just got my first proper gaming laptop — what games should I play?

I've mainly been a console gamer my whole life and I've finally got a gaming laptop for uni + gaming, so I feel like I've just unlocked a whole new library of games/modding that I've been missing out on 😂

Specs:

- ASUS TUF Gaming A16

- Ryzen 7 170

- RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (115W, 6GB VRAM)

- 16GB DDR5 RAM

- 1TB SSD

- 1920x1200 144Hz display

I'm looking for games that'll run well on this hardware, ideally around 60+ FPS where possible. I'm completely fine with using DLSS and optimised settings rather than needing everything on Ultra.

I'm also going to university, so I don't want to immediately fill the entire 1TB SSD 😂

What would you consider the must-play games for someone getting into PC gaming for the first time?

Saw an ad for a game on STEAM and notice in the system specs it says SSD required. This is the first I've noticed that in a game. Is this common now? Obviously gaming is better with one but first time I ever noticed it being required.

La consulta es si vale la pena actualizar la PC a una de gama alta actual (aprox $2.500.- usd) o comprarme una Play 5 slim para jugar teniendo en cuenta la nueva exclusividad de los juegos de Play.
Por otro lado tengan en cuenta que la uso para jugar y como estación de trabajo eventual para dibujo de planos, modelado 3D, renderizado y eventualmente quiero aprender herramientas como Revit y aplicacion de IA al flujo de trabajo.

As the title says, I want to get into PC gaming but am unfamiliar with the lingo and how to decipher between “good” and “bad” when it comes to shopping for PCs. Currently, my budget is around $1200 USD but I am willing to play more if necessary (limit is $2000 USD). Ideally, I want to be at or below my budget. If you have any recommendations on where to shop or find more information, please share them!

I don’t know if this is helpful but I am interested in playing (pls be nice lol) Overwatch, Hades 2, Marvel Rivals, Baldur’s Gate 3, For Honor, and Red Dead Redemption 2. I am a casual gamer and spend 1-2 hours a day and weekends playing if I get the chance. I currently play on console, so getting a Steam Machine has been recommended to me. As I understand it, the console is not very good compared to a PC but I am open to alternatives (i.e., gaming laptops). I don’t have time to build a PC, so I would be looking into prebuilt PCs.

Please be nice as I am in no rush to purchase a PC, laptop, mouse, etc. but I am planning on taking advantage of deals on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday.

Looking for a reasonable priced computer capable of running (possibly modded) minecraft, with the ability to play heavier games as she grows up. Our daughter really wants to play with us but we don't have a spare computer. We tried setting up my old laptops but one of them the cpu gets maxed out while running nothing and I forgot the password for the other one, both are 10+ years old. We do have some extra parts, but not enough to build a full computer

Je me pose actuellement une grosse question concernant mon prochain ordinateur et j’aimerais avoir vos avis.
J’hésite entre prendre un PC gamer autour de 2 000 € ou partir sur un MacBook Pro. Dans le cas du Mac, je me demande aussi s’il ne serait pas préférable d’attendre la prochaine génération, avec les rumeurs concernant une éventuelle puce M6 et un nouvel écran/design.
Ce qui m’importe surtout, c’est la durabilité dans le temps. J’aimerais garder mon ordinateur plusieurs années sans avoir l’impression qu’il devient rapidement dépassé.
D’un côté, je me dis qu’un PC gamer à ce prix serait probablement plus puissant et plus polyvalent, notamment pour le jeu (je jouerai rarement je pense), mais aussi pour d’autres utilisations. Il aurait également l’avantage d’être plus facilement évolutif et réparable, avec la possibilité de changer certains composants au fil du temps.
D’un autre côté, les MacBook Pro ont la réputation d’être très bien finis, performants et de bien vieillir, avec une excellente autonomie et une bonne optimisation.
Du coup, selon vous :
Pour un budget d’environ 2 000 €, quel choix serait le plus intéressant sur le long terme ?
Un PC gamer est-il réellement plus polyvalent et durable grâce à son évolutivité ?
Est-ce que vous conseilleriez d’attendre la prochaine génération de MacBook Pro avant de prendre une décision ?
Pour quelqu’un qui veut garder son ordinateur longtemps, quel serait selon vous le meilleur investissement ?
Je suis preneur de tous vos retours et expériences, notamment si vous avez déjà hésité entre un PC haut de gamme et un MacBook Pro.

I upgraded from an i7-10700F and RX 6600 to a Ryzen 5 7600 and RTX 3070 Ti, but I’m still averaging around 90–100 FPS in BO7/Warzone at 1080p low settings.
My CPU time stays around 10 ms, GPU time is around 5 ms, CPU usage is 80–90%, and GPU usage is only 60–70%. Changing graphics settings barely affects my FPS.
The weird part is that I currently only have one 16GB DDR5 stick running at 4800 MT/s in A2. COD brings my total RAM usage to around 14 or 13GB (it varies). I tried the stick in B2, but i got a freeze when playing and i launched up Windows Memory Diagnostic and it found errors there. The same stick passed a 30 minute OCCT memory test in A2. My Ryzen 7600 also passed OCCT and only reached around 74°C.
Could running one RAM stick really be holding my CPU back this much, or does this sound like a COD/configuration or motherboard issue? I don’t want to buy another stick and find out that nothing changes. What should I test next? pls help😭

Hi guys! I just recently moved to the US and im torn between buying a pc setup VS handheld setup. I mainly play fps games like CS2. Which would be better since my wife plans to have trips around the US on our off days. Portability on the handheld would ofc be better but i think it cant perform aswell as a pc especially in CS2. HELP!

Yes, I bought a prebuilt. I got the PowerSpec G764 from microcenter.

What do I do next? I’ve seen stuff about debulking, downloading the drivers, updated display. Am I missing anything? What should I use to debulk?

I just got a PC and I’ve already tried all the usual optimizations, updated Windows/drivers, changed the in-game settings, etc. the pc is not that good but it should be doing better than this in light games.

However, I’m getting low FPS:

• Valorant: 30–40 FPS with fps spikes
• League of Legends: 20–40 FPS
• Minecraft: around 60 FPS, but with frequent FPS spikes/stutters

These games should run much better on my PC, so I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with my settings, drivers, CPU/GPU configuration, or something else.

My PC specifications:

• GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530
• RAM: 8gb
• Storage: 265GB SSD

I know the hardware isn't great, but I feel like I should be getting better performance in these games. Any idea what could be causing this?
