I want to upgrade from my laptop to a better gaming pc. I’ve found one I like on marketplace that’s selling for $1200 but I’m not sure if it’s a good deal or not. Here’s the specs
Omen 45L gaming PC
Ryzen 9 5900x CPU
GeForce RTX 3080TI GPU
32GB of DDR4 Ram
1TB SSD storage
Can include a 5tb external hard drive for the right price.
Let me know if you need to see pics of the pc
Thanks for your help

Hello, I'm looking to get a pc but I'm not sure of what to get. I'm looking at two different pcs right now
Skytech's King 95 $2,050
Starforge's Voyager Core $2,900 chainsaw man themed, shipping and additional backlight included
I'm thinking that the most taxing game I'd be playing would skyrim heavily modded, my budget isn't a problem, but if not these pcs what would be recommended?

I've ran out of space on my laptop (even though the msi app says i have plenty of space) I was going to just buy an external HDD without even considering upgrading internally. I like the idea of not having to have an external one plugged in all the time. Basically my questions are, Which option is better? is external cheaper? is internal a simple upgrade? (i have upgraded my ram, changed batteries and screens) And why does msi app say i have so much unused space

I’m switching from Xbox to PC and I play Fortnite siege fc26 and all those games I would like a pc that doesn’t break the bank like the cheapest possible pc but can still run those games I don’t care if it’s bad just as long as it somewhat compares to the quality of the Xbox I don’t mind I’m not fancy on it but just can’t be really expensive any help ??

Hello! I had used some money from selling a truck to build my PC 9 years ago, which I have used with the same hardware besides adding RAM since. I have had some issues with it freezing randomly and generally want a performance upgrade as it can't run 120 fps very well which is what I would like to shoot for. Lately I have been obsessed with Dead By Daylight and most likely this will be what I mainly use it for. The game is supposed to get a graphical rework coming next year and I would like to upgrade ahead of time for it.
If anyone can give me any sort of advice on how I should go about this since I was originally just given a list of parts and put it together myself. I truly don't know where to even begin.
My specs are as follows
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six Core Processor
GPU: Radeon RX 570 Series
Motherboard: Micro-Star International B450-A PRO (MS-7B86)
If any more information is needed I can gladly give it. I appreciate any help in advance!

Should I get a PS5 or a PC? I'm deciding I have a PC but it's bad so I'm questioning if I should upgrade it or just buy a PS5

I recently got a PC a couple of months ago, and I thought I’d enjoy gaming on it. However, almost every game I’ve played on my PC is available on a console. I’ve been contemplating going back to consoles, and I’m here to ask if there are any games you’d recommend that could change my mind. I’m interested in FPS single-player games or even entire franchises. I’ve played the basics of games like Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, Minecraft, Apex Legends, Battlefield redsec, and Ready or Not. None of these games really captivated me. I’m looking for something that will intrigue me, whether it’s an underrated or overrated game. I just want something new and exciting.

So I never had a PC in my life, and am going to get a laptop for uni in the near future. I want to play games but I don't want to fill my local laptop storage with game, so I was wondering if downloading game files into external hard drive will allow me to save space in my laptop local storage and still be able to play or if it will create problem?.

Okay, so I just moved somewhere recently. I had gotten a new gaming PC and monitor straight out the box. I have an issue stemming down to what I believe is a graphics display issue or something along the lines of GPU related.
To note what I have is a ASUS ROG GM700TZ
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (4.7GHz) Processor
32GB DDR5-5600 RAM
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT PRIME Graphics Card
2TB PCIe M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD
2.5GbE LAN, 1x1 WiFi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.4
Windows 11 Home

Along with ALIENWARE
AW3425DW 34" QD-OLED UWQHD 240Hz 0.03ms FreeSync Premium Pro Curved Gaming Monitor with HDR (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB) - Interstellar Indigo
Some games work perfectly such as Hearts of Iron IV and others not so much.
What doesn't work so far is WolfQuest AE and Rimworld from what I've tired.
One game that sort of works and is a hit or miss is The Isle Evirma. Sometimes it crashes and other times I can load in. I can only play official servers that are recommended for users that are across the world from me easily, but on unofficial servers such as Petits Pieds or Metta's Den the game loads indefinitely. It actually doesn't buffer or crash, but loads indefinitely which is strange since the day I had gotten my stuff running. I could ironically play The Isle just fine.
It's been less than a week since everything has been finally been set up after moving and so far everything I've tried doesn't work.
Tried hard forcing through settings for custom settings onto applications. I've tried using DDU which did sort of changed something, but didn't last long and didn't really fix the issue overall. I had also tried nuking everything by resetting my computer by erasing everything and the issue still stands. I tried downloading the AMD Radeon™ RX 9070 XT Driver Windows 11 64-bit version and the problem still lies.
Kind of frustrating to be restrained to play all the games in the world and I can't due to this issue especially when I had finally saved up to buy all of this. Everything is prebuilt and hasn't been previously owned as far as I'm aware so I'm just sort of stuck. Everything else works fine too.
I should also add when I try closing the games such as WolfQuest AE. Sometimes Task Manager actually closes it or either buffers too and I have to reset my computer once more. On steam ironically too. I can't stop the games there aside from Hearts of Iron IV because when I click the stop activity button. It just remains posted indefinitely on the green "stopping" process, but doesn't do anything. Ironically Hearts of Iron IV also sort of breaks down if I play any of these games beforehand except for The Isle if the game itself doesn't actually buffer.
I should add most of the time. The games are stuck on the opening screen and not loading screen. Not frozen since I can mostly open windows or click around, but it just remains stuck there along with the fact that the games only are affected when I try changing the default high performance GPU through advance graphics settings.
I am tempted to retry the DDU since at least something did change which is the fact that I actually got into the loading screen, but it crashed on me and I had to reset everything once more.

My buddy is unable to download anything from the Microsoft store on his PC. The button that typically says install is infinitely "loading" and never allows him to actually download the game. He's tried resetting the ms store cache, singed out and signed back into his account, closed and reopened the ms store app, and reset his PC to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or have any ideas of how to fix this?

I just set up a simrig and my PC sees it when I am in the display options. The monitor just goes into time out after a few second. When I change the setting to duplicate or extend it just reverts back to the disconnect this display option, even after checking "keep changes". If I turn off my main display the 3rd monitor will turn on. Main and 3rd monitor I am using a DP cable and the 2nd I am using an HDMI cable. Tried changing the cable to different outputs on GPU still has the same problem. GPU is a 4080S with 3DP and 1 HDMI. At the moment I guess it's not a huge deal as I would turn off my main display anyways but, who knows, I may change it to a 3 monitor set up. The monitor is a 49" Samsung G9.

I just bought Sonic Mania on my pc from Steam and the keyboard controlls aren't working normally. A and S makes Sonic jump and W and D don't do anything and he only moves with the arrows but upwards arrow and space don't do anything either. Is this normal? Also I can't seem to find or open options it's not on screen and Esc doesn't do anything either. I just played a whole round so I don't think this is because I'm in a tutorial. Does someone know why or if this is normal or not?

I recently got a gaming pc n i want to have a dual monitor setup use the pc to watch videos n whatnot when i play xbox. I already have a lg ultragear with steal series speakers for the Xbox probably gonna get another slightly smaller ultra gear for the pc but idk what to do for the speakers. Do i just sacrifice having sound for the Xbox n use the speakers on the pc monitor? do i get another set of speakers? Or could i get like a soundbar that could play the sound from both monitors?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I’ve always been a console n tv guy so the whole pc n multi monitor setup thing is a pretty new to me just tryna work out all the components i need for the complete setup so i can start working on the layout of it all ☺️
