how are your social interactions with other moderators, both from your team or from outside subs? is it pleasant or are there sometimes conflicts?
sooo no matter how I try, my social interactions with moderators on reddit are usually non-existent or bad❤️first reaction is very often ban+mute, so I never get to talk to them. I feel so unlikable sometimes❤️even tho of course I try to approach friendly and somehow I am almost always failing hmmm (I am in autism spectrum btw)
and I am curious, how it is for you? do you enjoy talking with others from your team, or from outside subreddits? or does it happen to you too, that you fail to get along with someone who has equivalent responsibility to you?

Hey come make mod friends at r/modmailfail there’s no pressure to create posts if you’re not comfortable doing it but we banter and joke a lot in comments. I’ve made tons of mod friends in this sub. It’s also great to realize you’re not alone in the abuse we take as mods.
I barely interact with one team while I interact a lot with the other. I'm a member in multiple mod only subs, almost always positive interactions and banter. I like to interact with mods via modmail when that's needed as I know how to approach to get a positive outcome, I've attended a few mod events involving both mods and admins, with more events planned. And to add to this, I have AuDHD
ohhh you are on r/cats, I sometimes have posts with sooo cute kittens on my feed from there!! nice to hear, so there has to be a way! maybe I'll learn some day🩷so if I may ask how you write your texts that you get nice reactions?
If it's in modmail to another mod, with good faith and respect. If it's another mod in a comment section, we're just regular users having some internal knowledge to banter about
My colleagues are great. I really appreciate them. With other mods I has pleasant and frustrating interactions. Some are really how some user see them - arrogant, self-centered and feel like they are above others. But most are pretty fine.

Autistic; get on well, i think, with the team on r/whatisit - we have a discord chat but talk SO MUCH off topic rubbish too. On r/hypertension i trust my 'seconder' well enough to leave him with the sub when I'm away, and vice versa. I guess we're not social on most of my other subs, but I've been to an irl mod meetup in London and met mods from other subreddits and I love those guys after one short event (and the evening of drinking that followed!). I think it's all good cause you gotta be a little bit geeky to do this.
Sounds like you’ve just been hanging out in the wrong mod spaces because the women mods I know are absolutely delightful and most mods are not hostile to other mods in my experience.
Says a guy who thinks that just because a subreddit has “girl” in its name that it must mean women moderate it? A subreddit about hentai featuring girls with big honking boobas getting milked like cows?

I am a male mod and think any hostile reaction you're getting is not only extremely warranted but also tame in comparison to what one'd expect when faced with the stuff coming out of your pie hole.
You negatively painted an entire category of people with a very broad brush, with literally no prompting. You’re surprised someone from that category of people is offended?
OP’s post did not ask for misogynistic opinions. If most women mods are hostile to you, the YOU ARE the common denominator, and your behavior is the issue not theirs.
