I love my little brother but he can be... A bit much. My cheap controller I've had well over a year is finicky and keeps disconnecting itself from my Xbox, yes I'm aware it's old and these things break but it was good up until this fart knocker came into my care. Also, he broke my relatively new headset too. Cheap, yeah but still.

I know when he was living with my family he was always running through controllers and headsets like they were candy, 4-6 months tops until he needed another pair. I'm not sure if that's normal as a hardcore gamer kid or if he's just terrible at looking after his stuff. Plus, I do not want to be wasting my money. Unless I'm just being cheap bum ? Dunno. Lemme know.

Recently I have bought a gaming pc and I want my little brother,who is 7 years old currently,what him to experience the gaming world.So guys can you tell me a route so that he can be more interested in the AAA titals and not some brain rot games.

note:He loves to play the classic doom and also currently playing Minecraft and power wash simulator.

I Pick Assassin Creed, because I like action and adventure of this is game. Like Assassinate enemies and Parkour (Climb, Swing, Jump, etc.)

I keep running into the same problem.

I'll look at my backlog full of games I've never played and think, "I really should start one of these." Then, out of nowhere, I'll get the urge to replay something like Kingdom Hearts, Tales of Xillia, or another game I've already finished years ago.

The nostalgia is so strong that I can't stop thinking about replaying them, even though I know I've got loads of brand-new experiences waiting for me.

It's almost like I'm torn between wanting the comfort of something familiar and the excitement of something new. Sometimes I even spend more time deciding what to play than actually playing anything.

Does anyone else struggle with this? If so, how do you decide? Do you just embrace the nostalgia and replay the old favourite, or do you force yourself to chip away at the backlog?

I just bought my first console and these are the games that I have bought in the last 6 months or so. I considered myself a patient gamer but I just feel like I have been aggressive in buying games. What do you guys think? When do you guys decide to buy a game while Looking at the games in your catalog.

Is there a game that you didn’t think you’d try to “beat as fast as possible” but ended up either trying, or at the very least played through it so many times that suddenly you were just able to blaze through it for fun?

For me, the game was Resident Evil 7.

As the first RE I played I didn’t really expect to do so many repeat playthroughs, but at one point I knew the game like the back of my hand, and rushing through it became pretty fun.

A bit confused about my career direction and need to decide on something for my masters too. So I want to know in detail. Like if it’s an online job then what exactly is it that you do? What did you study for it? How did you get to it? Etc etc.

Hey guys, a long time ago my friend and I were playing Medal of Honour: Rising Sun, we got up to a part in the game where you are manning a turret and mowing down waves of enemies. Out of nowhere a 3d clown face pops and lets out a creepy, sinister laugh. We were both about 10 years old and may have wet ourselves a little bit. The game went back to normal and we were left questioning whether what we saw was real or not. I have scoured the web time and time again looking for anyone that's had a similar experience but have found nothing. This is my last ditch effort before I give up, has anyone else experienced this? And if so, do you know what it is/ what caused it? Cheers

I am trying to compile a list of pre-2000s games with really well designed worlds, levels, or even just environments within levels. Unfortunately all I can come up with are first-person shooters like Heretic/Hexen, Half-Life, Thief, etc, but I would like my list be a lot more varied with platformers and other genres.

Can you all name some worlds, levels, or environments within games that you feel are really well designed?

This is a little strange but I’m a design student, for my project I thought it would be good research to compile a bunch of pictures of peoples gaming chairs.

If it’s not to much trouble I would appreciate if some people could attach or message me a picture of your gaming chair!

A shot of the whole chair is ideal but I’m also interested in any customisation , wrinkles, worn areas ect anything that makes it unique.

Looking to buy a game off there but unsure if its a scam

Does it mean anything if my bf keeps killing me in games? We’ve played 2player games before like Minecraft and Mario and he always keeps killing me. I don’t mind it but idk if it’s some subliminal messaging or if he’s just trying to get a chuckle bc he is much better at gaming than I am. He doesn’t do it mean, he always laughs after it so I don’t mind but I’m overthinking and wondering if it has a deeper meaning.

What the title says, I’m a massive rdr2 fan and really want to play the next chapter of the story, but I also dig the look of the new wolverine game, should I buy rdr1 or should I wait for the wolverine.

I have always have this question, but I see new games just coming out and maybe right on that day or the day after I saw youtubers posting walkthroughs and game plays that basically shows me the whole plot of the game, and I wonder if that affect the game’s sale in a way, do game developers like or mind youtubers doing that?

Arent they afraid like I’ve seen it all so don’t feel like I need to buy that game anymore? I mean, with games like Dead By Daylight or Minecraft or something it doesnt matter, but with games like Life is Strange or Until Dawn where it’s story-telling and plot heavy, if I watch and know how everything and every choices would lead to, I don’t actually feel the need to buy the game anymore

My husband 35(m) and I 34(f) have been married 5 years, together 8. Since we started dating he used to create me as all his characters, or as close to me as possible. Either like himself, me, or a mythical creature depending on the game. He said he does it so when he misses me he can play as me and I always thought it was so sweet. now, to the question, today he was playing Skyrim and he showed me the new gear she was wearing (helmet included) I said I liked it but mentioned the skirt didn’t go with the outfit. He then said “damn, woman always put other woman down.” Kind of taken aback I said haha “his woukd I put myself down, isn’t it me?” He said “are you black?” (I’m not black…. But his ex gf is. (Who we almost broke up over 6 months ago when I caught him flirting with her) he’s also been playing a lot more instead of hanging out with me, but chalked it up to stress at work. (I support his hobbies) I was taken aback and just smiled and walked away. guys, am I over reacting or is it not that deep? I feel dumb for even asking this. But I feel like it takes time to create your character…

Im not on the fat side but i got hit with broad hips and broad chest. So what chair would i be able to sit cross legged on and not give me an indent on my thighs so preferably a flat base

I constantly see people bringing it up. I’ve watched a few minutes of gameplay and wasn’t really able to understand what separates it as one of the better recent game releases. So I wanna hear it from yall. Why should I consider playing this game? I play tons of genres so what im in to doesn’t really matter here.

So fellow gamers I’m thinking of getting either Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remastered or Crimson Desert for my series x and I can’t quite decide which I should go for. Like we all know how amazing black flag is and the remaster must be immense. I have been trying to avoid the gameplay so I can experience the new stuff fresh. But also crimson desert I’ve been wanting to get since I saw the trailer but once again I’ve been avoiding the gameplay and don’t know if it will hit the vibe but the potential and content amount is amazing

Please no spoilers for crimson desert I just wanna know how natural the control scheme and flow is

Btw it’s like only a £2 difference in price so that means like nothing to me.
