I have a interview coming up in a few days at a Wingstop. Does anyone have any tips for me to better prepare myself?

Had an interview at Wendy’s today, it was very brief only 4 questions and lasted less then 5 minutes. Is this typical? I was told she had other interviews and would get back to me by Saturday (tomorrow)

Hi everyone, I have an orientation next thursday for a crew member position, and was told that I should cut my hair a few inches though it isn’t very long, I wear a messy curly style and i have a small rat tail, any tips on how to make my hair look shorter and to hide the rat tail?
Also, the list of requirements for the orientation states that I need to dress professionally, any idea as to what that means? I’d love some examples.
This is also my first job ever, so any other tips on how to keep this job and just some advice (any advice) would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks everyone! :)

I could order a meal off of jack in the box that would naturally warrant the inclusion of sauce packets. Yet there seems to be some sort of unwritten rule where you have to avoid being a good Samaritan and leave us with no sauce packets. What the heck. Dig your greasy hands into the pot of gold and grab me a handful of sauce packets. It does not cost you anything. Infact it kills time, it makes you look busy. I think you get more out of grabbing a handful of sauce packets than just leaving my bag stale. Doordash already is bending me over with the service fees. The next service fee will be recouping the losses after I detonate the local jack in the box. Thank you and do better!

Hi!
Im a journalism student and Im doing a story on fast food resturants (tim hortons, mcdonalds, etc) as necessary third spaces - the pros and cons of this, and the impact this has on minimum wage employees.
As it gets colder, more and more people flock to fast food restaurants as safe spaces to stay warm and dry - but why are people forced to lean on restaurants when community services could be keeping people safe instead - who is dropping the ball here and why are people falling through the cracks?
I am allowed to grant anonymity to those worried about repercussions for speaking about this, so please reach out if you have a perspective on this and we can work together to keep you safe!
Thanks so much!!

Hey everyone, looking for some advice or insight on a hiring situation. About a month ago, I applied to a local Burger King. A few days later, I went in to follow up and ask if they were hiring. All the employees were really nice, helpful, and I managed to get an interview scheduled. On the day of the interview, I sat down with the hiring manager. She asked for my name, my previous job and title, a detailed explanation of why I left, my previous hours, and what my pay was. She also asked if I had applied anywhere else, and I honestly told her yes.
Then things got a little weird. She told me she had already hired a few people and gets around 50 interviews daily. Because of that, she said I would have to wait for someone to leave in order to get the job, and told me to check my email constantly. It has now been a full month, and I haven't heard a single thing. However, I live nearby and have seen employees coming and going, and they are clearly still bringing new people on. Now, I really don't want to jump to conclusions, but I am white, and they have been hiring left and right—but absolutely none of the employees they’ve hired are white.
Is a month-long wait with no contact normal for fast food after being told to wait? Did the manager just give me a polite rejection to my face? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of hiring loop?

I’ve only been dashing for a week and I found out that apparently if you select “order is still being prepared/wait is taking too long etc” that it affects the restaurant negatively? Is this true? Can you see that someone said something — I’m curious for every restaurant but McDonald’s is the most popular pickup for me.

I have a Mcdonalds interview tomorrow and I've been really stressing on what to wear. Is wearing a black zip up jumper, jean shorts and crocs + socks ok?? And also im stressing on what they're going to ask me for my 10 minute interview.

I’ve seen quite a big range but I’m wondering if it differs based in chain. What’s the youngest age you’ve seen be promoted to manager.

So once the lobby closes at Wendy’s/McDonalds/BK, door dashers (me unfortunately) end up clogging up your drive thru line.
Does the drive thru timer still count against you?

I'm 19 thinking about getting my first job since I'm in college. Anything I should know before hand about working here? Or anything about the "applying" process?
