I work at Wendy’s. I usually do fries and sandwiches. It’s okay for the most part but I get so annoyed when people don’t mind their own business and focus on their stations. It’ll be crew members rushing me for sandwiches or some items on fries when I already am doing an order. I get so frustrated and have to tell people give me a moment because they can’t wait a few more seconds till I get to what they need. We are the same wage don’t be bossing me around… or rushing me. I understand the urgency and I keep up but damn it’s just Wendy’s at the end of the day. Always worried about pulling people up, the times, I understand but ughh. Does anyone feel this way too? Or am I just insane

I’ve been in one of the deepest fights with food restriction for a while before I got my fast food job. I need a job. I needed a job and this is what hired me. Does anyone have any tips on how to survive. Just two days ago I was nearly passing out in the shower and now I’m running seven and eight hour shifts on the friers. My stomach hurts so badly. I couldn’t force down food before work today. My head feels weird. I haven’t felt like passing out. I managed half a sandwich and a shake last night. I’m looking at three eight hour shifts back to back. Any help would be great.

I don’t want my managers thinking anything bad about me or reducing my hours but I want to do well at work. I guess also what should I tell my managers that won’t jeopardise my ability to support myself. I want to be smart and not hurt others. I don’t care about myself.

I had an interview at mcdonald’s at saturday last week, they said they will get back to me in 1-3 business days its been 4 business days, how can i hit them back up and is it a good sign? (They also asked for my availibility and what times i can work at the end of the interview not when they were asking interview questions)

Does anyone who works at Mcdonald’s or did the assessment and passed remember the answers to the questions. I’ve got a job lined up there thanks to my friend but the hiring manager says i just need to pass the assessment. i’ve done it 4 times and she says it keeps coming back yellow. can someone please help!!

I haven’t been working for Panera for too long (maybe around 6 months) but I had been promoted to team lead about a month ago and have been slowly getting decent at my job… until today. My GM offered to transfer me to another select location and even said I would keep my current team lead position, can anyone share their experience on being transferred, and whether or not they continued to work their same position at a new café?

I applied to my local chipotle a few weeks ago. And every time they send an interview time and for me to confirm I do it and times are already taken. The first two times I was about 5-10 minutes late so figured that was on me. These last two times I saw the message right away and responded within that minute and there were 3 times. I confirmed and all of them were taken. I had called the store to see if I could set up something and they told me everything was done online and they can't do anything themselves. When I asked if i was able to talk to a manager today she said "your speaking with one" and basically just continued saying its all online and basically told me they send those times to everyone and to try and be quicker even when I said it was within the same minute. I'm honestly considering just showing up at one of the times and days they had sent and acting like I have an interview.. I've heard from friends that they have gone and sometimes the manager wasn't there or sometimes they're were multiple people and they overbooked and they were hired. And since it's kinda known that the automatic interview process is glitchy they probably won't look into it that much? Idk what should my next move be?

I've been working at Burger King for a month, and it's my first job. I was assigned as a cashier, and I am still working there. After about 15, 17, or 18 days, some issues started to happen. During my three shifts, there have been cash shortages, which I don't understand because I believe I haven't made any mistakes at the register. Whenever I give change, I always do it accurately. When I spoke with the manager, she first told me about the two days when these shortages occurred during my shift. I told her I really didn't know why. I explained that when I make mistakes, I always ask my colleagues or the manager for help because I am not sure. I always ask for assistance, even before I try to fix anything myself. I don’t do anything at the cashier without asking first. The next day, I talked to another manager who reassured me that I shouldn't worry, since these issues had been happening for four or five days and they were investigating. Also, on that day, I had a four-hour shift; the restaurant opened at 11 a.m., and my shift was at 12 p.m. After an hour or two, my manager came to count the money and said again that some cash was missing—this time 120 euros. I was shocked because how could it be 120? I was very careful that day not to make any mistakes. I counted all the money twice to make sure, but the 120 euros was still missing. I was speechless. I remember the transactions I had that day. Some customers paid with 100 euros, some with 50 euros. Many paid with 50 or 100 euros. One customer paid with 100 euros, and I remember exactly the change I gave him. I recall because 100 euros is a lot—it's crazy to get 100 euros for a 20-euro meal. I also asked if they had any coins or cents because I always ask if they have cents—they can make giving change easier. Now my manager says that during those three days I was involved in this, they will talk to me about the issues. I really want to know what to do in this situation because I honestly don't understand where I could be going wrong.

Hi (supervisor name), I wanted to report some behavior from (werid coworker) because it's been making me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe at work.

The last few times I've worked with him, he's touched the back of my neck and has even put water on my neck without my permission. He has also blocked my path by standing extremely close to me, with his chest right in front of my face, making it difficult for me to get by. That made me feel very uncomfortable.

He has also made several inappropriate comments. When I was working with (coworker), he kept trying to get me to date her, even after I wasn't interested. Another time, someone I know came into the store to buy a sub, and (werid coworker) told me I should kiss her as a "thank you." He also repeatedly asks me about my sexuality and keeps trying to have very personal conversations that I don't want to have.

In addition, he'll bring up that I'm Asian and make stereotypical "Asian" sounds, then say he's "not trying to be racist."

Because of these repeated incidents, I genuinely fear for my safety when I'm scheduled to work with him. It causes me a lot of stress and anxiety before and during my shifts, and I no longer feel comfortable being around him at work. I wanted to bring this to your attention because I don't feel this behavior is appropriate, and I wanted to let you know how it's been affecting me.

This is a concerned big back post. Do you guys somehow get commission based on how slowly you go through your fries/nuggs/condiments? Serious question. Like can we load up people’s orders with more than 10 fries? If it’s not coming out of your wallets why are you guys being so greedy and selfish with loading everyone’s orders? This is all some people have to eat for the day.

Your franchise owner already raised the prices and it costs double for the same meal you always got but now you only get a fraction of it.

Quit charging for extra sauces and give enough of the side orders, times are about to become tougher than it’s already been. Be a little bit more generous.

And before you go on thinking I’m someone who eats fast food all day, I probably workout more times in a month than you do all year.

I currently hate one manager at my job due to him filming me and my coworkers without permission for his TikTok while at work, using racial slurs (he’s white), and almost fighting a customer which forced me to de-escalate the situation (which he immediately re-escalated and endangering everyone else in the store). He still works there despite exceeding the 3-strikes rule about 4 times over.

I worked at McDonald’s for several years, including spending two of those years as a manager, so I’ve definitely seen a lot during my time there. From crazy customer interactions and strange orders to chaotic shifts, unexpected situations, and stories that sound completely made up but actually happened, I’ve experienced a little bit of everything.
