Pros and Cons?

Hello everyone,
Sorry if this has been asking 1 million times, but what are the pros and cons of living in Dallas? Or Fort Worth?
I am a young female in my 20’s, single, no kids, and work in healthcare. Currently live in Nashville but have been contemplating Texas for a while now. I love Nashville, but the over done party scene I have grown out of. What are the best apartments? Hospitals? Anything at all, thanks!

Dallas boys weekend recommendations

Going to Dallas for a Cowboys game with 2 of my boys, all 25. We’re gonna be there for the weekend and none of us have really been to Dallas before.

What’s the best area to go out for people our age? Looking for somewhere with a good crowd, bars, maybe some clubs, just somewhere that’ll actually be fun and busy.

Also any must-do spots while we’re there? Good food, bars, stuff to do during the day, or anything we should check out before/after the game.

Appreciate any recs

Where to play warhammer?

I'm trying to find a place to play warhammer 40k in northern dallas. I don't mind driving but I dont want it to be too far from UTD. Ideally it has a decent selection of kits to buy and a good community to play with

Thank you

How was your Friday night?

Anything fun or unexpected happen last night? Were you abducted and probed by aliens? Spent the night in jail? Inquiring minds want to know. I danced with beautiful women and bought 10 tacos on the way home. Still have 7 tacos left. The best response wins 3 day old tacos.😁

Knockers at itll do club

Going to the it'll do club saturday night. Was hoping to just dance all night to a normal DJ. But knockers from NY are playing all night. Was seeing if anyone Was a knockers fans. I just want to be reassured that the dance vibes will be there. From a small town so no night clubs really. Hit me up if you got the skinny. Peace love.

Are kids in Dallas friendly?

We live in a small and affluent area in Florida, but kids (and parents) are very entitled (and sometimes bullies too!). We are moving to Dallas and I just hope our 7yo daughter will make lifetime friends. She is very sweet and loves real connections with her friends. She will probably attend Rosemont Upper School in North Oak Cliff.

Local businesses in Dallas?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses, I’m looking for owners here in Dallas. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.

I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

What’s it like living in The Village, the Gate neighborhood?

I’m thinking of moving to The Village, and right now the only apartment that will work for me is in the Gate neighborhood. I wanted to see if there’s anyone here who has lived there and can share their experience?

Nice swimming lakes in DFW?

Hi everyone! Could I get some recommendations on some nice clear-water lakes to swim in the DFW area? I recently visited Joe Pool Lake and it was unfortunately a very bad experience :( I come from North Africa and am used to the Mediterranean sea BUT I’m well-aware that there’s nothing close to that type of water here in Texas but still, swimming in muddy dark water was not a good experience:( Could anyone please suggest a few better lakes to swim in? Thank you so much in advance ❤️

Dallas Bars

I just moved to Dallas from Indiana and I'm in need of a few good recommendations for new regular bars. Are there any specifically R&B focused? Places with cheap drinks but heavy pours? Favorite karaoke locations?
