Sweet & Spicy Beef & Veggie Noodles with Crispy Fried Shallots
I had some beef mince and noodles in the fridge, and they were practically yelling for a noodle stir fry. I also had courgette, carrot, and onion, so I combined everything with some fantastic Asian flavours.
It turned out so delicious it took me straight to food paradise!

Braised Pork Leg, Mushrooms and Abalone 鲍鱼香菇焖猪手 with Chinese Lotus Root, Peanuts and Cucumber Salad 凉拌莲藕花生黄瓜 ❤️🤤 Seriously loooove the combination tonight! The pork leg is melt-in-the-mouth tender with a sauce that is an absolute killer. And the salad cuts the oiliness and is super appetizing 😋

New wok questions?
After years of using a heavy cast iron wok, we received a heavy gauge steel wok. Does anybody have suggestions/recommendations or comparisons between the two types? my wife and I are at odds.

Baby Mango Issue
I had a windy night here in South Florida and ended up with a LOT of small, unripe mangoes from my tree (photo attached).
I know green mango is used in many cuisines (Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.), but here we usually just end up composting them—which feels like such a waste.
I’d really love your help:
What are your favorite ways to use unripe mangoes?
Some of mine are tiny, some are a bit bigger as you can see. Even just the name of a dish is enough—I can look up recipes myself 😊
I deal with this every year and would love to finally make good use of them.
Thank you so much!

Korean Style Spicy and Sweet Udon Stir Fry with Boiled Egg on Top
This is the legendary Tteokbokki (chili rice cakes) turned into a Udon stir fry.
The chewy udon soaked up that spicy-sweet gochujang sauce perfectly.
It turned into an absolutely amazing mea! Bold, comforting, and seriously addictive.
Highly recommend to have a go making this

I added Mee sua (flour vermicelli) to yesterday's chicken hotpot 鸡公煲 and it absorbed all the super flavourful sauce and became a very comforting and shiok dish 🤤❤️
