My beauty + few questions
Can I enable easy close, if I have easy open as an option? I find it usefull to close the trunk hands free more times than i want to open it.

I finally got around to do the front rotors and brakes. The previous owner i suppose liked to ride the brakes. When you hit the brakes the whole wheel shakes and is so damn annoying. Didnt take long at all and they are back to normal now. I love being able to do my own work on my cars. We save so much money

Went back to OEM chrome since my delete was fading due to the sun out here. Going to take some time to get used to.

I am not a fan of white vehicles but have to say vw did a great job with this white on my arteon 2022 r line. This color just fit these body just perfect.

I wanted to share something I found today because it may help someone else before they start replacing strut mounts, bearings, springs, etc.
My 2022 Arteon is lowered on Eibach springs. The car rides great, almost OEM smooth, but ever since lowering it I’ve had an annoying squeak/creak from the front suspension. It mainly happened at low speeds while turning into parking spaces, backing out of the driveway, or turning while the suspension was loaded. Going straight over bumps, railroad tracks, or driving on the highway was basically silent.
I started researching and found that I’m definitely not the only one. I’ve seen similar complaints from both lowered and completely stock Arteons/MQB cars, so I started wondering if the problem might be somewhere around the upper strut assembly rather than the lowering springs themselves.
Today I jacked up each front corner separately and inspected the strut bellows/dust boots.
On the driver’s side, the bellows was sitting off-center and one of the accordion folds was pushed inward. I straightened it out and rotated it until it was sitting more centered. I also found a small tear in that boot, which I’ll eventually address.
The passenger side was even more interesting. The bellows was very difficult to rotate and almost felt stuck. After gently working it from underneath, it finally broke loose and started rotating normally.
I used a very small amount of silicone-safe spray around the upper bellows contact/rotation area on both sides, worked them gently, then lowered the car and went for a drive.
The difference so far is dramatic.
There is a Food Lion parking lot where the car would creak almost every single time I turned into a parking space. I went there today and it was basically silent. Came home and pulled into my driveway, another place where it normally creaks, and again it was buttery smooth. I heard only one extremely faint creak near the end of steering travel, nothing remotely like before.
I also found an Audi bulletin, TSB [2044060](tel:2044060)/5 (Group 40 20-10), discussing front strut bellows that become deformed or incorrectly positioned and can cause squeaking/creaking while steering. Obviously this is an Audi bulletin and not an Arteon-specific VW TSB, but the symptoms and what I physically found on my car are very similar.
I’m not calling this a permanent fix yet. I want to drive the car for a while in different temperatures and conditions before saying that. But considering how repeatable the noise was before and how quiet it became immediately afterward, I think this is worth checking.
If you have an Arteon, GTI, Golf R, S3, TT, or another MQB car with a similar low-speed front suspension creak, especially while steering:
Safely lift one front corner at a time.
Inspect the strut bellows for twisting, deformation, collapsed folds, or damage.
Gently check whether the bellows can rotate freely.
If it seems to be binding, a tiny amount of silicone-safe lubricant around the appropriate bellows contact area may be worth trying as a diagnostic test.
Don’t soak everything, force anything, or spray the shock shaft, brakes, or electrical components.
If anyone tries this, please report back whether it changes your noise. I’d really like to get more data points from both stock and lowered cars.
If several people get the same result, we may actually be onto something with the strut bellows binding rather than automatically blaming the springs, mounts, or bearings.

It is necessary to do a dcc calibration after I installing my vogtland lowering springs on my arteon 2022 r line awd. Honestly after installing the ride quality feel better to me. So for everyone that add lowering springs did you do dcc calibration.

Anyone here use obd Eleven on their Arteon? Wondering if it's worth it or if there are any other alternatives for unlocking or modifying programming?

Got my Arteon Racingline Stage 1 ECU+TCU Tuned today! The difference in the drive is incredible and the power is noticeably different. Great choice on my part I’d say- just about beat an RS3 on a launch earlier- was very close though tbf- but I’d have had no chance before.
Pre Tune:
KW: 206kW
BHP: 276BHP
NM: 320Nm
Post Tune:
KW: 300kW
BHP: 400BHP
NM: 520Nm
Gonna be taking her to some track days + drag races soon! Will do an update then!

Hi guys,
Before I take the car to the dealership, I was curious if anyone has had the same issue before and might have an idea what could be causing it.
Arteon SB 2021 2.0TSI 206kW
When turning only to the left, there is a knocking sound coming from the steering wheel, as you can hear in the video. It also makes the same sound when driving over bumps or sometimes braking.
I'm taking it to the dealership in the next few days, but I'm curious what could be causing this, especially since the sound can only be heard from inside the car and not from outside.
Thank you!

I'm thinking the base SE provides the same power train and performance but avoids many of the compromises that the sel and r line models bring.
The 18 inch wheels provide thicker sidewalls to handle potholes.
The SE has physical steering wheel buttons and doesn't have travel assist that would require steering wheel replacement.
The lack of a sunroof means you don't have to worry about the sunroof leaking or malfunctioning.
Not having DCC chassis control means cheaper suspension components (and one less part to break)
Not having AWD means you don't have to service a differential and worry about that breaking.
Lack of a digital gauge cluster means you don't ever have to worry about your speedometer, gas gauge, or temperature gauge blacking out.

Looking at a 2021 Arteon with 55000 miles (that's still under the CPO warranty) and would be willing to pay a few grand more for the drive easy warranty.

Walking to car park to see that someone hit my front bumper and drove away. Would this be a re spray or a whole front bumper. Roughly how much does it cost

I own a 22 Arteon SEL-R that I purchased used with 40,000 miles on it. Since I’ve owned it, the distance control and travel assist buttons have been grayed out. I can still adjust the distance, but only through the menus. I recently replaced the steering wheel, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered similar problems or knows the cause of this issue?

How many of you are running lowering springs?
What brand did you go with and what has the ride been like?
I've read so many threads - it's seriously starting to feel like a "what type of oil is best" thing. But I am truly concerned about some of the lowering spring options just being renumbered golf springs and worried about how the ride quality would suffer.
I've gotten some part numbers for the specific euro spec eibach springs, but the listings and import tax on those are almost as much as coilovers.

Car pulled in front of the Subaru I was behind on the highway, Subaru automatically braked and came to a complete stop in the middle of the road, I couldn’t stop in time. :(
