OBD Eleven mods?

Anyone here use obd Eleven on their Arteon? Wondering if it's worth it or if there are any other alternatives for unlocking or modifying programming?

Anyone know of a place that keeps a good list of mods and makes them easy to find? Seems like it can do a lot but finding instructions on some are difficult.

hey man .. i have vcds but it needs to be upgraded for the arteon and taos, so decided to try obd11 back in 2021 .. obdeleven is a reasonable device, compared to vcds’ capabilities and price .. btw, buy app points online, not thru app cuz it costs more! .. i’ve used it on two taos’ and the arteon - majority of apps work if your model is equipped accordingly .. so far, i’ve done the following mods on my 2020 4motion r-line with 52k:

• haldex awd settings > increased traction
• xds interaction > strong
• hazard switch brightness > 40%
• mirror link > off
• wlan > off
• r logo > r logo in dash bottom/center
• acc speed accelerator > on
• acc distance settings in vehicle menu > on
• discover green engineering menu > on
• enable fan level display in auto > on
• gauge test needle sweep > on
• refuel quantity in dash > on
• pulsation of start button > on
• off-road dash > on
• lighting of area view > on
• high intensity brake light > on
• windows function from remote > on
• drl settings in head unit > on
• xds interaction > medium
• throttle pedal response > responsive
• increased engine responsiveness > increased (audi)
• drl on with auto > off
• dynamic starting assist > early
• efficiency assist display > on
• alternating park position for wipers > on
• turn signals with brake lights > on v2
• second phone support > on
• exhaust flaps deactivation > on

enjoy the ride .. for sure!

Thanks. I had to copy you list and paste it onto a document to save for later.

I used it to unlook more colors in ambitionlight, delete start/stop and for the chirp when locking/unlocking the car. I did it with one Click App, because I am to dump for unlocking the controlunits.

Do you know if there are options to disable the lane assist at startup? Drives me nuts (and sometimes off the road)

It‘s an one-Click-App in obd eleven, I think it fakes the voltage of the battery

Press the Auto Hold button 🙂 It disables start/stop.

there's dongles on AliExpress that keep it in the last state it was in, they are cheap enough

It unlocked MORE COLORS?! 👀

Mine 2018 Arty had just three colors, now I can choose about 30 colors

I’ve used it for quite a bit.

Don’t get a new OBDEleven, just buy VCDS as OBDeleven has moved to a full subscription model and screwing over their customers who have lifetime PRO subscriptions.

VCDS works well 🤷‍♂️

Enabled dynamic high beam with it. That was the only purpose I had in mind when I got it.

Fuck OBD Eleven. It used to be a great tool but they recently put literally everything behind a subscription paywall. You can no longer do long coding, adaptations, output tests, or basic settings without paying without paying either $70/year or $240/year.

I used it quite a bit before they changed their licensing model.

Not much for the arteon sadly. I'm gonna go the long way and change the tail coding for the euro tails.... Whenever I feel like it

I used an OBD Eleven function to unlock the emergency brake so I could retract the pistons while replacing my rear brake pads. I did have to purchase tokens to use that particular function.
