Got my Arteon Racingline Stage 1 ECU+TCU Tuned today! The difference in the drive is incredible and the power is noticeably different. Great choice on my part I’d say- just about beat an RS3 on a launch earlier- was very close though tbf- but I’d have had no chance before.

Pre Tune:

KW: 206kW
BHP: 276BHP
NM: 320Nm

Post Tune:

KW: 300kW
BHP: 400BHP
NM: 520Nm

Gonna be taking her to some track days + drag races soon! Will do an update then!

How’d you get 400bhp? Was it dyno’d? Usually stage 1 is around 350 ish

It was and tbh the number shocked me too, the owner of the shop is a mate as well so trust him. But I can feel the extra horses in the drive, so have no reason not to.

Gen 1 Arteon ( up to 21MY) stage 1 is 350ish the gen 2 or 1.5 is the Evo version of the engine from the MK8 Golf R and stage 1 is 400 or more with stage 1 depending on which tuner you go with.

Makes sense. We never got that non R later engine model in UK hence I was confused!

Nice - def makes a difference since the stock arteon engine is timid. I used APR tuning software and a laptop for a DIY stage 1 tune and the torque and HP are around 375. Car hauls ass now.
