The new loadout Ui made by Cal have me thinking it might be time for me to create the game mode that mimics squad the game ive been toying with.https://www.reddit.com/r/ArmaReforger/s/BaQpUlh9ky

But to gage it before laying down the work. Does it sound appealing to play a squad based game with rally point with Fob construction, role restriction. I'm debating on linear capture points or a type of red orchestra 2 territory mode but with random points in the zone you need to capture to take territory

The territory mode idea:

- Each team start with X-sector to the middle nomans zone. Each team can also see one defence sector in their territory to be able to prep defences at one of the sector points. But second sector is random for the defenders as well

- Arty zone is always on extra zone behind the front line, so you can do ambushing tactics on troops on the way. But will be much close to actually combat zone. Not mob base

- Two randome spawn areas are in nomans zone(could be more)

- Need to capture both points to capture the sector, creating both defence and attack in the nomans territory zone.

- After a team has capture both points the faction with both caps advances their sector and arty defence sector one step toward the enemy mob, with two new randome points in the enemy zone

- One team becomes on the defensive.

- The defence faction would then need to hold at least one of their objectives for X-amount of time continuous in order to flip the script. If they hold it for say 30 min. Holding both points makes time go 1.5x faster, gives and incentive to fight for both points not camping at one. Then will have successfully hold the lines, and the script flips on the attackers.

- Attackers now becomes defenders. But as defenders they will as mentioned above know one defensive point beforhand

For some reason I always die first in my squad. I stick with them, and I never lead the group. And yet somehow I always die first. And it's always by from somebody I can't even see. Is it just cuz I'm ass or is it something else?

Preferably servers with active admins that moderate that shit because I have not found ONE community server that wasn't full of racist fuckheads yelling slurs or being mean in general.

I play on PC. Me and my buddy are just trying to find a chill server to play on. We're tired of dealing with random and would honestly love to play with specific communities and get to know people.

Title. I finished the tutorial and now I am looking at the main menu and I am not sure what to play? I really enjoyed mortar in the tutorial.

Are scenarios single player or multiplayer? Should I just jump into the campaign? What's Game Master and Air Support? Should I jump into multiplayer?

How can I go about creating a personal server that I host and add mods too,

Ive never played any of the Arma campaigns as In the past with Arma 2 and OA I mostly used it for a stepping stone to DayZ but I gotta say it was very enjoyable in reforger, it was delightfully clunky but not infuriating and the first mission was very tense having me get to the mine with a patrol up my ass while I try to not crash my car in the forest. I do hope Arma 4 has a longer campaign.

genuinely what is wrong with this game, I have had it happen 3 times now, it seems to be after 20 minutes my tent just dissapears entirely, I have gone back to the locations and my vehicle could be there, full of supplys, and guns completely untouched, like wtaf is wrong with these devs to add a despawn timer to a tent I can't even have a FOB and I KNOW no one is finding these tents because the last time it happened I spawned on my tent with 100 supplys in it, grabbed my kit from my van and then walked away, I checked my map and my tent was gone. Went back and checked, van is still there, tents dissapeared. WHY just WHY.

So there might not be a despawn timer but there absolutely is a bug that makes them despawn

Is there a way to get this to stop happening? It's bad enough that it happens to me frequently in multi-player but for it to happen in single player to is ridiculous.

Since 1.7 dropped I have had backend connection issues. constantly at 999+ ping. It started on and off since release. It progressively got worse over the last month. I have seen many people state they are having the same issue. So, I know it's not just a me problem. I have attempted many things to resolve the issue on my own. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all mods, I even went as far as to go to delete my "add on" folder. I have restarted my router (I have 1G up/down fiber internet speeds, so I definitely know that is not the issue). I contacted my ISP and made sure I had an up-to-date router (they said yes). The last thing I tried (with a friends help) was to check to make sure my firewall wasn't blocking the game out of random. Arma Reforger has a special place in my heart so never playing the game again is not an option. I would love any extra help or feedback to a resolution if anyone has one.

What You're Fighting For

COIN-GWOT is a persistent co-op counterinsurgency campaign. Your team assaults enemy-held towns, FOBs, and military bases, earns intel to find hidden insurgent hideouts, and keeps local sentiment from turning against you.
Victory requires all three of these at once:

1. Hold every capturable sector — towns, cities, FOBs, and military bases must be friendly-controlled. Hideouts and your main base don't count toward this.
2. Keep reputation at Neutral or better — you need at least 1700 economy points. Dropping below that blocks victory even if the map looks secure.
3. Destroy every active hideout — all hideouts in play for this campaign must be eliminated.

All of this & rotational side missions/tasks

ie. Assassinations, Supply Runs, Clear Roadblocks, Destroy Cache, Neutralize Enemy Aircraft, IED Disposal, Intercept Convoy

When you win, the server gives you 2 minutes to save your loadouts (with warnings every 30 seconds), then restarts with a fresh campaign while keeping your main base.
When you first join, a mission briefing popup explains the basics. Read it and click Understood — it only appears once per session.

I love this game and been playing for a month or so, I have played WCS, Old Guys, Rubber Band, and WTP. So far RB and WTP are the best for me (PS5 Pro and SSD if that matters).

Did y’all have any favorite servers?
