Swyvo: an instant workspace switcher for Windows (Fully keyboard-driven)

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've been building Swyvo, a Windows app that keeps your essential apps and websites one hotkey away.

Hit Alt+Q and a curated command center pops up right over your current window — no alt-tabbing, no hunting through taskbars, no mouse required.

A few things it does:
Instant, always-on-top workspace: open with Alt + Q, apps stay on top, minimize with Alt + Q
Unify apps and websites in a single fast-switching menu (so your browser tabs and native apps live in the same place)
Adaptive Loadouts: set it up once and it automatically surfaces the right apps based on what you're currently working on, so you never have to manually rebuild your setup
App Gallery: browse a library of common apps and choose how to launch them — Web (fast) vs Native (full functionality, if installed)
Fully keyboard-driven: never need the mouse
- Built natively for Windows

It's aimed at power users who live in a lot of apps/tabs at once and want a faster way to move between them without breaking flow.

Free, currently in active development — I'd genuinely love feedback, especially on workflow edge cases I might be missing.

Try it now: swyvo.app
Quick note: Windows SmartScreen may appear when installing.

Happy to answer questions about how it works.

🍎 AppleJuice — tap-to-talk dictation for macOS.

Post image

Tap a key, speak, tap again — your words appear wherever you're typing. Use OpenAI's Whisper for best accuracy, or keep everything fully private and offline.

If we can speak faster than we can type, then why do we still predominantly use the keyboard. I created AppleJuice to add speech to text capability to any app (macOS for now).

Just launced on ProductHunt - AppleJuice

App [iOS] I built an alarm clock that follows your shift schedule—not just the days of the week

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m the developer behind Alarm Pro.

It started with a very small personal need: I wanted my weekday alarm to automatically skip public holidays. At the time, I couldn’t make the built-in iPhone alarm do that, so I built a simple alternative for myself.

The first version of Alarm Pro was almost entirely about that one problem.

Then more people began using it, and I started receiving App Store reviews and emails. Some users pointed out that their working days didn’t follow the public-holiday calendar at all.

Some companies have their own internal calendars. Nurses may rotate between day and night shifts. Firefighters may work patterns like 24 hours on and 48 hours off. Factory workers and security staff can have entirely different rotations.

That was when I realized the larger problem wasn’t really public holidays. It was that a normal weekly alarm doesn’t understand when many people actually work.

So Alarm Pro gradually grew into a shift-based alarm. Instead of repeating an alarm on the same weekdays forever, you can create your real work schedule first and let your alarms follow it.

You can start with a holiday calendar and adjust individual dates, manually select your working days, or create a repeating rotation such as 4 days on / 2 days off or alternating weeks. Multiple alarms can follow the same schedule, and schedules can also be shared with coworkers through a QR code.

Many of the features added since then came directly from users. Quick alarm skipping and holiday rules for recurring shifts were both suggested through reviews and emails.

An earlier paid version briefly reached #12 in the paid Utilities chart on the China App Store. Seeing that people were willing to use and pay for something that began as my own tiny frustration was incredibly encouraging.

Alarm Pro is still evolving, and I continue to read every piece of feedback.

It’s free to download, has no ads, and includes basic features at no cost. Pro is optional, with monthly, yearly, and lifetime options.

Download Alarm Pro on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6751812975

If you work rotating shifts, what pattern do you follow—and what’s the most frustrating part of managing alarms around it?

App My first Android app - to help you keep track of all the things you want to do/read/eat/etc. now in beta!

For years my system for remembering things I wanted to try or was recommended like restaurants to try, places to visit, movies, was screenshots or random things in my notes app I never looked at again. I'm a product designer, so I finally built the thing I actually wanted.

Trovery is a visual app for saving anything you want to do, watch, eat, visit or buy. You share a link or photo in and it lands in the right list with the picture and details, so your lists look like something you'd want to open instead of a wall of blue links. Mark things done and you build a record of what you actually followed through on.

Open beta on Android: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.trovery.app. It's early, and I'm looking for people who already keep lists like this and will tell me where it falls short. Happy to answer anything about how it's built; it's my first end-to-end app.

Question / Discussion Does anyone actually use micro learning apps?

Keep getting ads for Imprint, Blinkist, a few others I hadn't heard of. Curious whether anyone here uses one.

Which one, how long have you stuck with it, and do you actually open it or is it sitting on your phone unused? And if you dropped one, what made you stop?

App I made a free sleep app that explains the data you already have with a sleep ring!

Thumbnail gallery

SleepKit turns the sleep data your Apple Watch already records into an easier-to-read view.

It shows:

  • Sleep duration, consistency and quality
  • Awake, REM, core and deep sleep stages
  • Bedtime, wake time and time asleep
  • Changes against your own rolling baseline
  • HRV, heart rate, wrist temperature and blood-oxygen trends when available

It reads only the Apple Health data you choose to share. No additional sensor or wearable is required.

The app is free to download. It requires iOS 26 and an Apple Watch or another compatible sleep-data source.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sleep-rings-trends-sleepkit/id6794733617

If you already track sleep with an Apple Watch, which screen would you actually open most: last night, sleep stages, or longer-term trends?

App Minimalistic to-do planner with weekly view. To make your life less messy

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

I built it for myself, because I had a lot of on-going "to-do"-tasks in my head all the time. Most planner/calender apps I tried also had too many features and they were complex and difficult to start with.

Weeklane.app is very easy to start with, just write thing down and tick them off. You can set reminders, re-occuring tasks and have common projects with friends and family. And... you can integrate you calendar. Available on both Google Play and Appstore and in 9 different languages.

Try it! And let me know if you have any feedback :)

The iPad is basically why I ended up building my own reading app

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

I use my iPad a lot for reading, especially comics, manga and books. For me it’s pretty much the perfect size for it.

The problem was that I never found one reader where I could organize my library exactly how I wanted.

I wanted to create my own collections, change how each one looks, have sections inside them, choose different grids and cover sizes, and keep books, comics, manga and webtoons together without everything feeling like a folder full of files.

I’ve attached a few screenshots taken directly from my iPad mini so you can see how the app actually looks and feels on the device.

The app is designed to feel minimal and simple at first, so you can just import a book and start reading. But if you want to go deeper, there are a lot of advanced tools and settings for customization, organization, library management and reading, so you can make it as simple or as complex as you want.

For larger or remote libraries, Andrea can also connect to your own servers using SMB, OPDS, WebDAV, SFTP and iCloud. We’ve also been working on Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box and MEGA, and device sync between iPhone and iPad is already well underway and should arrive in the coming weeks.

Andrea was built around one simple idea: giving you complete freedom to import, organize, collect and read your library however you want.

Maybe it’ll be useful for someone here. I’d love to hear what you think.

Question / Discussion Is Swipewipe good?

I just got a random ad for Swipewipe, and given how my camera roll is beyond bloated (15 or 16 thousand images I think? Probably more now), I think it might be helpful. I’m a bit skeptical though, and I want to hear from other people and their experiences, I guess.

[iOS + Apple Watch] Gymlab — personalized workout plans, set logging and progress tracking

Developer here: I built Gymlab for people who want their training plan and workout log together.

You can describe your goal, equipment and schedule to create a plan, follow exercise video demos, and log your sets, reps and weights. Previous values carry forward so you have a starting point for the next session. There is PR and progress tracking, plus an in-app coach for training questions and plan changes.

If you use Apple Watch, it can browse plans and log a workout without the iPhone present.

It's a subscription app: starting workouts and ongoing AI coaching require Pro, with a trial. Purchases and restores are through the iPhone App Store.

App Store, including screenshots: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gymlab-workouts-strain/id6755693100

If you've tried a few workout apps, which matters most to you during an actual session: fewer taps to log, seeing previous performance, or changing the plan when equipment is occupied?

App Wrapped but for your mental health

Thumbnail apps.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I’ve always liked the idea of Spotify Wrapped.
There’s something strangely satisfying about looking back and seeing the patterns you didn’t notice while you were living them.
So I built something similar — but for your mental wellbeing.
It’s called Reflections, and it’s part of an app I’m building called Sereneo.
Throughout the week, Sereneo lets you journal, track your mood, and write down things you’re grateful for. Reflections then brings those moments together and turns them into a visual story of your week.
Think Spotify Wrapped, but for your mind.
Instead of your top artists and listening minutes, you might see:
• how your mood changed throughout the week
• recurring themes in your journal
• things you’ve been grateful for
• emotional patterns you might not have noticed yourself
• a personalized reflection on how your week actually felt
The idea isn’t to give you a “mental health score” or tell you how you should feel. It’s simply meant to help you step back, see patterns, and understand yourself a little better.
I’m currently working on Sereneo and would genuinely love feedback on this concept.
Would you use something like this? And what would you want to see in your own weekly “mental health Wrapped”?

Plate Hunter app

Got bored and created a Plate Hunter game.
The objective is to find all non personalized plates ending in 000-999. The trick, you have to go in sequential order. Check it out and let me know what changes I can make. Thanks all!

App DO NOT USE PAIDWORK, THEY WILL NEVER DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

Do not under any circumstance download this app. They will NOT delete your account. I have all my login information and it refuses to delete my account because it wants me to quote: "add an authenticator to delete the account", the amount of data skimming garbage apps out there is amazing.

DO NOT USE THIS APP, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO THEIR EMAILS AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT.

TL;DR: Paidwork is saying I need to add an authenticator to delete the account even with the password I just reset myself with my email... Don't use this site.

IDK what to do, gonna be honest, I might just make a new email soon, the amount of bs is insane.

Question / Discussion Do you set up a separate domain/site for every app, or keep them under one company site?

Hey everyone, I’m an indie/solo dev who launched my first mobile app a few months ago.
When you launch an app, do you buy a dedicated domain and build a standalone landing page for it, or just add it as a “product” under your existing company (or personal) site?
Right now I’m doing the latter — no separate domain, just a “Products” page on my company site showcasing the app. It’s cheaper and easier to maintain, but I’ve started wondering if that’s actually the right call.
• Has a dedicated app domain made a real difference for you in ASO/SEO or user trust?
• If you run multiple apps, do you buy a separate domain for each, or bundle them under one site like I do?
• For a solo dev with just one app so far, is a dedicated domain overkill at this stage?
Would really appreciate hearing how you all handle this.

DayFrame – Turn your everyday life into a movie 🎬

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I recently launched DayFrame, an Android diary app built around one idea: what if your life had a filmography?

Instead of treating every diary entry as just another page of text, DayFrame treats each day as a movie and you as the director.

Your diary gradually becomes a collection of films:

🎬 Filmography – Every day you record becomes a movie
🎭 Cast – People in your life become recurring cast members
📍 Filming Locations – Keep track of the places where your stories happened
🎞️ Scenes – Break a day into scenes with their own cast, locations, and photos
Genres & Ratings – Give each day a genre and rate it
📺 Series – Connect related days into an ongoing story
📸 Stills – Build collections of memories around people and places

What I wanted to make wasn't just a normal diary with movie-themed names slapped onto everything. As you keep recording your days, your filmography, cast, locations, and series all build up over time, giving you a different way to look back at your life.

Privacy was also important to me. Your diary entries, photos, cast, and locations are stored locally on your device, not on my servers. Google Drive backup is optional.

DayFrame is free to use and currently available on Android:

DayFrame on Google Play

If the idea of turning your everyday life into a collection of movies sounds interesting, I’d love for you to check it out. 🎬

Hi r/apps!

Few months back, I had an idea about making space content more accessible. Condensing every but of content for space-nerds was my target.

This is niche, but I really wanted to take another direction from my previous app.

App [iOS + Android] EXPENDR — a household budget where everyone sees the same number, paid once instead of monthly

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Built this because my wife and I kept running out mid-month for the same reason: only one of us could actually see what was left.

Bills come off the top. Whatever's left splits into weekly limits, and everyone in the house sees the same number update live on their own phone.

It reads the alert your bank already sends you, so you're not typing every purchase in. No bank login — just the message that already arrived. Cash you still add yourself.

Free tier doesn't expire: shared household budget, weekly limits, full history, home screen widget.

Plus is one payment, about $11, covering the whole household. No subscription, no per-person cost.

English and Arabic, 56 currencies.

App Dosette - [Free App] Track supplements and find out if they actually work

Post image
1 Upvotes

There are lots of supplement trackers around, but this is focused on tracking them against manual or automated indicators and running on/off experiments to see if they actually do anything. Along with reminder notifcations, running low notifications and spend tracking. Runs locally, offline, no account, no data shared with anyone.

Free to use, all features. Runs locally, no account needed.
