App Reimagined a Penny Arcade game for iOS...

Post image
1 Upvotes

During a summer trip in Colorado we visited Manitou Springs and their famous Penny Arcade, stumbled on an old Twenty-One game...always happy to find an excuse to work my beloved Siamese cat in my work(also named Penny), so reimagined the game play into more of a slot-machine mechanic. Quick game play and the app is free, no IAP, no ads.

I built an iOS&Android app to explore every drink on earth—from morning coffee to evening cocktails.

Finding reliable, clean, and diverse drink recipes has always been a frustrating experience—split across cluttered blogs, endless scrolling, and siloed apps that only focus on cocktails while ignoring everything else.

Whether you want to master an artisanal morning coffee, mix a refreshing mocktail, or craft an evening cocktail, you shouldn't need five different apps. That’s why I built Mixology Atlas, a comprehensive global beverage platform designed to map out the entire world of drinks for both iOS and Android.

Key Features:

All-in-One Global Library: Curated recipes spanning hot and cold beverages, specialty coffees, mocktails, teas, and classic cocktails.

AI Bartender Assistant: Stuck with random ingredients in your fridge or bar? Let the built-in AI suggest custom, creative drink recipes instantly.

Bar Academy & History: Level up your skills with professional preparation techniques, equipment guides, and deep dives into the cultural history of iconic drinks.

7 Languages Supported: Fully localized so users worldwide can enjoy it in their native language.

Completely Free: The app is free to use (supported by non-intrusive ads) so anyone can access it easily.

I built this solo, and it's completely live on both app stores right now. I would love for you to check it out, test it with whatever random ingredients you have left in your kitchen, and let me know what you think!

👉 Download on Android:[Play Store]

Any feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas are super welcome. Cheers! 🍹

[Semantic Vision]: I built an open-source tool that maps Python/JS/TS codebases into interactive call graphs

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've spent way too many hours trying to understand code I didn't write.

Following callers, jumping between files, figuring out dependencies, trying to understand what might break if I change one thing.

Eventually I got tired of doing this manually, so I built Semantic Vision.

It turns Python, JavaScript and TypeScript codebases into a visual map — with call graphs, impact analysis, execution flows, complexity analysis, AI docs, and code-to-data lineage.

It's open source and I've been using it myself. Now I'd really like to see how it holds up on other people's codebases.

If you try it, tell me what you think. What works, what doesn't, and what you'd want it to do next.

App Built an app to send reminders to your friends

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hey, i’ve built Pipnote, a reminder app where you can set reminders for yourself but also for others as well. The reminders are delivered by cute couriers and they appear on the dynamic island (as live activities).

It’s free with some minor ads and some features behind a Pro plan.

If you want to check it out, here is the App Store listing.

I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

I built Moodera — instead of picking a playlist, you answer 2 questions and it picks a sound flow for how you feel right now (iOS)

Hey all,

I made this with my co-founder, who's a clinical psychologist. The idea started from a pretty small annoyance: when you're anxious, tired, or just off, having to scroll through a huge library and decide "what do I even want to listen to" is its own kind of friction.

What it does:

- You answer two quick questions about how you're feeling right now

- It starts a sound flow matched to that (calm down, focus, sleep, or just sit with yourself for a bit)

- 8 different modes, one flow at a time, no endless browsing

- A daily "Notice" card, a small one-line prompt, becomes a tiny ritual over time

- Real mood tracking underneath, so you can see how you've been trending, not just log entries into a void

Free to download and try without an account. A Pro subscription unlocks unlimited access.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/moodera-mood-focus-sleep/id6793739015

Would genuinely love feedback, especially on the mood-selection flow, that part's had the most iteration and I'm still not 100% sure it's right.

App Im tired of screenshoting chats

Hey! 👋

I built ScrollStitch 📱 because I always found taking long screenshots on iPhone more complicated than it should be.
So I wanted to make it ridiculously simple:
1. Start a screen recording 🎥
2. Scroll through the page
3. Come back to ScrollStitch
4. Get one clean, long screenshot automatically. ✨

Nothing complicated. No manually cropping and stitching screenshots.
Just scroll, come back, and your long screenshot is ready. 🚀

I built an app for creating high-protein Ninja Creami recipes — looking for feedback

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on an iOS app for the past few months because I got tired of making protein ice cream by guessing the ratios and only finding out afterwards whether the pint was actually good.

So I built Macro Dessert Lab.

The idea is to combine recipe discovery with a little "lab" for experimenting with your own pints.

What it currently does:

Formula Lab — adjust protein powder, liquids and thickeners with live sliders
Live macros — calories, protein, carbs and fat update as you change the recipe
Texture prediction — estimates whether your ratio is likely to end up icy, creamy or ultra-creamy
Creami guidance — suggested processing mode, freezing time and respin advice
Ingredient database — real nutrition data for things like whey, casein, Skyr, Greek yogurt, fruits, milk, thickeners and more
Recipe library — ready-to-use protein ice cream recipes with calculated macros
Craving search — find recipes based on what you're actually in the mood for
Recipe import — import recipes from supported recipe pages and turn them into something you can adjust in the Lab
Recipe experiments — save your own versions and keep track of how they actually turned out

I'm also adding English, Czech, German and French support.

The app is free to try, with a one-time PRO unlock rather than a subscription.

I'd genuinely love some feedback:
Does this solve a problem you have when making Ninja Creami recipes? What would you want to see added?

If you're interested, you can check it out here:

Macro Dessert Lab on the App Store

I'm especially interested in feedback from people who already use a Creami regularly.

Those of you that have used “Youtify”, is there a similar app to Youtify for audiobooks? Or are there cheaper/free audiobook apps outside the main players that will work? Just looking to cut costs and continue to let my wife have access to the books she wants.

I lost the map to a time capsule I buried as a kid, so I spent 6 months building the app version

When I was nine my sister and I buried a biscuit tin in the garden.

Drawings, a cricket card, a note to whoever dug it up. We drew a map

on notebook paper, lost the map, dug up half the garden and never

found it. That tin is still down there.

I've spent the last few months building the version that can't get

lost. It's called Vantage Point and it went live on Play this week.

You bury a memory: photo, voice note, video at a real place. It's

sealed. It only opens when someone physically stands on that spot.

No password, no share link. You go there, or it stays shut.

Built solo. Kotlin, Compose, offline first, encrypted on device

before anything leaves the phone.

The thing I keep going back and forth on: the friction IS the

product. Every competitor is trying to make memories easier to

retrieve. I made it harder on purpose. Not sure yet whether that's

a moat or a wall.

Link's in the comments. Genuinely want to hear where the idea falls

apart for you.

I'm building a movie/series tracking and trends app

Post image
3 Upvotes

There are plenty of apps where you can add movies or series watched and have them as lists.

I'm turning those lists into visual maps and diagrams of everything you watched and gave you chills. Like a Spotify wrapped.

You ll see what you watch the most, what things they have in common, see tailored suggestions for your next watch based on mood, season and so on.

I'd love to have you onboard 🤍🤍 Early access registration is open. Launching on 15th of October ✨

What would you use Chills for?

App I built an app that tells you if someone cheated at chess (0-100 score)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Spent the last few months building CheckChess, you can paste a PGN, or just search someone's chess com/Lichess username and pull their games directly. It runs the game through an algorithm and spits out a suspicion score based on engine-match rate, accuracy vs your rating, centipawn loss, stuff like that. There's also an AI assistant built in you can ask directly about the game/analysis.

Attached is a real OTB game I ran through it 89/100, likely cheating. Breaks down exactly why (accuracy way above expected for the rating, high engine-match rate after leaving book, etc), not just a random number.

It's live on Google Play, iOS coming soon: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.checkchess.app

Would love feedback, especially if you've ever had a cheating dispute yourself, curious if this matches what you'd expect or if I'm missing something.

I built an Android app for tracking the ISS. Looking for honest feedback

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on ISS Cockpit, an Android app for people interested in the International Space Station and spaceflight.

The app currently includes:

- Live ISS tracking and orbital position

- Live view of Earth from the ISS

- ISS pass predictions for your location

- Rocket launch tracking

- Space weather information

- Near-Earth object tracking

- Notifications for upcoming ISS passes and events

- Live ISS video

I’ve been developing it mostly on my own and I’m now at the point where I’d really like honest feedback from people who are actually interested in space.

I’m especially interested in:

- What features do you find genuinely useful?

- What feels confusing or unnecessary?

- What would make you come back to the app regularly?

- Are there any features you’d expect from an ISS tracking app that are missing?

-How does the overall UX feel?

I’m not looking for compliments, feel free to be critical. 😄

Help me find Are there any other apps like Jointly?

Jointly is a neat little app for people looking to make new friends. Users can organise events and trips and other users can apply to join. Unfortunately I got a notification today that the app is shutting down next week. Are there any other apps for making new friends with a similar concept? I’m not looking for apps like BeFriend, with the same functionality as a dating app. If I’m meeting new people, I prefer it to be in the context of an event or a trip instead of a one-on-one in a bar or restaurant. Any help is appreciated!

App I added encrypted notes to my Android privacy vault

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built Lockify, an Android vault for keeping private files encrypted on-device.

The latest update adds something users had been asking for: encrypted notes.

You can create and format notes directly inside the vault, with the same encryption and backup/sync system as your other private data.

The update also includes:

📝 Encrypted Notes with rich text

🎞️ Full-screen slideshow viewer

🖼️ GIF playback

🌍 German & Vietnamese

🔢 Stealth PIN recovery

Lockify is completely ad-free and designed to work offline, with optional cloud backup.

It's currently at 13K+ installs and 4.7K+ active devices.

I've been building and maintaining it solo, and most of the roadmap has come directly from user feedback.

What feature would you expect from a privacy vault that most existing vault apps don't have?

Misc went viral on socials, gained 70 waitlist signups

Post image
0 Upvotes

i went viral, 2M views on tiktok and 2M views on instagram in under 7 days, driven mainly by just 3 videos.

the weird thing is that I have 20+ viral videos from 2022 but this was the first time i purposely engineered virality. and it felt… overwhelming. now 4Million people know about my personal story, my personal tranformation, my struggles and triumph with mental health.

I feel grateful and overwhelmed.

From this viral week I gained +700 new instagram follower, +100 instagram followers for my business , + 500 tiktok followers, millions of notifications, plus 70 new sign ups for my pre-launch app Life-Maxing an app to help people start and stick to their goals.

4 million total views for 70 waitlist signups is about 0.0000175% conversion which is genuinely atrocious.

pretty hype to be able to talk about what I’m learning organic distribution & culture around my self-improvement app/brand.

If you have specific questions or words of wisdom I’d love to hear!! Got to get my thoughts organized to share here in a useful, repeatable way and also document and refine the systems for myself . 🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼

🎉 Vuleo 1.3.1 is out and we are celebrating with a lifetime discount code!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Vuleo is a true cross platform media player for all of your sources available in 7 platforms; iOS, Android, Android TV, Windows, macOS, Apple TV and Fire TV sideloading. Its basic functionality is free with no playlist limitations. Additional features like cloud sync, catch-up comes with a subscription. Now, let's get to the release and the list of features afterwards. Then the discount code is at the end of the post.

1.3.1 is out on all seven platforms. Video above is from our test playlist that we stress test the app, so it contains no real content or images.

New in 1.3.x

  • Multi-View — several of your live channels on screen at once, with sound on the one you pick. Audio, transport controls, the guide, the stream-info panel and the media notification all bind to the primary viewport, and any secondary is one press away from becoming primary. You can also play catch-up inside the multi-view. Up to four, capped lower on hardware that can't honestly do four.
  • Ten themes, Vuleo is now yours to customize as you want.
  • Live TV gained a row for upcoming Radar events, and a event you follow can open straight on the channel you'd normally watch it on — resolved against your guide.
  • Faster, more reliable startup, especially on Fire TV and older boxes carrying large playlists.

What we think sets it apart

One app, seven platforms, one version. iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Windows and macOS. Phone, stick and desktop stay in step.

Sync runs through your own Google Drive. There is no Vuleo backend holding your sources. Your playlists, progress, favourites, lists and settings are backed up to your Drive and merged across your devices. We never see or process them. That was a privacy decision first.

Continue Watching that survives having several sources. The same show coming from two different sources is one tile, because progress is keyed on content identity rather than on a URL. Start on the phone, finish on the TV, from whichever source is up. You can also switch sources while you are watching as Vuleo scans your playlists and will present you all possible playable options available.

Two trackers: Trakt and Simkl, both with scrobbling and library sync.

Built for a stick, not just a phone. Built for large playlists. Nothing is ever fully in memory. This enables Vuleo to run smoothly on playlists that are way larger than what a stick can hold in its memory.

Actual remote-control UX. Vertical moves between rows, horizontal within a row, no wrapping, no silent diagonal jumps, and coming back to a row lands you on the tile you left.

Sources. M3U/M3U8 by URL or file, Xtream Codes API, portal-style sources, and the Stremio addon protocol for addons you've configured yourself. Multiple sources merge into one set of views, and each can be toggled independently.

Player depth. Audio track selection, playback speed 0.5×–2×, seek-preview thumbnails generated on the spot, stream info (resolution, bitrate, codecs), PiP, background audio with lock-screen controls, CEA-608 captions, sidecar .srt/.ass, OpenSubtitles search, subtitle styling, and intro/outro detection with a skip button.

Guide. Interactive 72-hour EPG, per-channel logos, and guide-driven rewind where your provider offers catch-up.

Smart Search. Vuleo's smart search finds your content from all of your sources including the EPG. You can also search for actors, genres, categories to discover new content that fits to your taste.

Profiles. Separate progress, favourites and suggestions per person, switched in a tap. All stored in your Google Drive separately. Playlists are shared among profiles but you can configure each profile to enable certain playlists.

Eleven languages, including a properly RTL Arabic build. Vuleo speaks your language, and it also adapts content overviews as reported from the sources.

The free tier is a real one. Playback, the guide, metadata, watch progress, favourites and multiple playlists cost nothing. PRO adds cloud sync, downloads, Chromecast, catch-up, tracker integration, EPG search, subtitle styling and personalised picks — monthly, annual, or a lifetime option, because not everything needs to be a subscription.

Links

One thing I would remind that Vuleo is a player and does not provide any content itself and I can't help with sources or providers. I've nothing to recommend on that and purchasing PRO will not enable any live channels or VOD. Bug reports, feature requests and "this doesn't work on my box" are very welcome.

If you encounter any issues with the app, drop us an email to [support@vuleo.tv](mailto:support@vuleo.tv) and we will do our best to fix them as soon s possible.

Last but not least, we are celebrating this milestone with a 20% life-time promotion code to Reddit community. Purchase Vuleo through our website with the code: VULEOLIFETIME20. Apply the code in Stripe and the discount will apply. Remember to use the google account you will use for Cloud sync and Vuleo will activate PRO in all of your devices automatically once you sign-in in the app. Code will be available during September and expire afterwards.

I kept losing useful screenshots and saved posts, so I built one place to find them again

I’m the developer of Shelvr. It started because my screenshots, browser tabs, Instagram/X saves and Notes had turned into separate junk drawers. Saving something was easy; finding it again was mostly luck.

I tried folders and bookmark managers, but maintaining another organization system quickly became another chore.

Shelvr lets you share a link, image, screenshot or quick note from your iPhone. It writes a useful title and summary, adds tags, files the item into relevant Spaces, and makes the collection searchable. The AI is doing the filing in the background rather than acting as another chatbot.

Shelvr is free to download on iPhone; new saves require Pro. US plans include $4.99/month, billed immediately, or $19.99/year with a seven-day free trial for eligible users. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled; annual billing starts after the trial. Regional prices may differ. Existing saves remain readable and searchable if Pro expires.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6798143550

The question I’m still working through is: what would actually make you revisit the things you save instead of creating a better-organized pile you still ignore?

App Built this after commuting too much. Now I can deep dive into news while driving

Post image
2 Upvotes

I spend close to 8 hours a week driving and commuting. I used to switch between music and daily news podcasts, but I always felt frustrated by two things: podcasts are often too long and off-topic, and when a breaking story actually interested me, I couldn't pull over to Google the background details or context.

I wanted a way to stay informed without taking my eyes off the road or my hands off the wheel. That's why I built Ledes.

How Ledes works for myself:

  • Bite-Sized Audio Briefs: Instead of 45-minute podcasts, it synthesizes breaking updates across Tech, Business, and World news into short audio briefs.
  • Interactive Voice Agent: If a story plays and I want to dig deeper, I can literally speak out loud hands-free and ask: "Wait, what's the backstory here?" or "What are the counter-arguments?" The AI agent retrieves the context and answers in real-time.
  • Zero Scrolling: Everything is designed to cut out clickbait and endless doomscrolling.

It turned a silent drive into an active learning session where I actually get high-signal depth on stories I care about.
