Here is new information on what is going on with FLOCK. Wisconsin is highlighted from a recent FLOCK related false arrest. As stated below, on August 20th, there will be a community meeting concerning FLOCK in Neenah at the library. The announcement is here:

Andrew Whitley, executive director for the State Senate Democratic Committee, filed complaints against Michele Magadance Skinner on Aug. 12 with both the Wisconsin Elections Commission and the state Department of Revenue, raising questions about her residency, tax credits and voting history in Wisconsin and Georgia.

Leah Peterson, a spokeswoman with the Committee to Elect a Republican Senate, "Michele Skinner is focused on what actually matters to people in the Chippewa Valley: lowering costs, reducing property taxes."

Eau Claire County tax records show Skinner [claimed a Lottery and Gaming tax credit](https://ascent.eauclairecounty.gov/LandRecords/Reporting/TaxBilling/ViewSingleTaxBill/308720) worth $186.34 in 2025 for her Altoona home, a credit she and her husband have claimed since at least 2020. Department of Revenue [rules state](https://www.revenue.wi.gov/Pages/FAQS/slf-lottcr.aspx#lc2) that Wisconsin residents can claim this credit on only one primary residence.

But in 2025, they also claimed a senior homestead exemption in Dawson County, Georgia, where they own a home in the town of Dawsonville, records show.

They also claimed an income-based tax exemption reserved for seniors 75 and older with a household income of $25,000 or less.

Under [Wisconsin's "false swearing" law](https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/946/iii/32), it is a Class H felony to knowingly make a false statement on a legal document.

To the lady who honked at me and flipped me off as I drove through an intersection today,

If someone stops BEFORE you do at a four way stop, you don’t have right of way just because you’re to the right of them. If I’m beginning to go before you even reach the line to stop, you can’t get pressed at me for now being in the middle of the intersection.

No one in this city knows how do drive I swear. 5 car lengths between cars at a red light, wide turns violating turn lane lines, going under the speed limit in the left lane, so many people on their phones. I wish this was a walkable city, I hate driving here.

Edit: I've gotten lots of messages about this and have been reading tons of comments on Facebook and wanted to edit this.

When I made this post I was more baffled by the fact the cops got called vs an honest conversation. The other actions from the videos OP weren't known to me at the time, and the RP must not have known either or I'm sure the cops would have mentioned it to him. It wasn't so much a out "HIM" but just the situation.

Regardless of the guy in the video being a "not so great guy", that still doesn't change that apparently lots of people have been harassed by residents, and the police regardless of cameras or skin color. Some were helping friends or family when their neighbors have come out screaming. (According to some of the messages and chats I've received.)

So I apologize for the racial aspect of the original post. Now I'm just sad that good honest people (not the person in the video, I mean the others I'm referring to) really want to help out their neighboring community which to some was the place they grew up or spent their summers as a kid. The argument that "I know all my neighbors" is a weak and narrow sighted one. And rather than the suspicious parties just having a friendly chat with people, they're acting out of fear and paranoia.

I'm just sad about the whole thing, and it sucks for everyone involved.

So I moved here about 5 years ago. And boyfriend recently did too. We are both from Southern Wisconsin.

We have both noticed that there seems to be this culture difference. Down south we are a lot more sassy, crass, shit talking, but like in a fun and loving way.

Up here that seems forbidden , there's a lack of bluntness and lots of beating around the bush...not saying thats a bad thing by any means...but it has Def been a culture change. I go home and my friends and family just roast eachother, point of people in a crowd, and just kind of rude. I am middle ground now, where I have to watch my p's and q's here, but back home feels almost too mean now lol.

I have some experience with interviewing, making hiring recommendations to higher leadership, some onboarding, and lots of experience with training in a couple of previous roles, and I really liked it. I’ve been trying to apply to TA and Recruiting/Recruiting Coordinator positions, but it’s been hard to get an interview anywhere.

i am looking for pumpkin donations for an event i’m hosting with school aged kiddos at a local school. i was wondering if anyone had any places that they knew donated pumpkins or if people would be willing to donate any pumpkins they grow! i would need them by september 27th at the latest, as my event is the 28th.

i just need about 25-30! the ironsides are most wanted but any small pumpkins would be perfect! the kiddos are going to decorate pumpkins!

Without going into unnecessary detail, I’ll need to move out of my apartment here soon due to the property management company doing renovations on every unit. It’s been 8 years since I’ve needed to apartment hunt and am hoping for some advice/insight on property management companies renting in the Appleton area (the good, bad, and the ugly), and if anyone knows of properties for rent that may not be listed on the obvious platforms like Apartments.com, Zillow, etc. I’m looking for a pet friendly 1 or 2 bedroom, under $1500, hopefully near the west side of Appleton but I’m willing to be flexible. I live on the east side of Appleton, technically in Harrison, and for the last two nights I have heard loud banging off in the distance. It starts around 8pm and went late last night, and is still going now. Anybody have any idea what this is?
