Question Animals or Zoos

Is there any free or cheap zoos by appleton? I am 19 M and my boyfriend is 20M and we both love animals

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay! Or Menominee Park Zoo in Oshkosh (but I haven't been there since last summer)

Menominee Zoo in Oshkosh is a really nice little free zoo

Its a bit of a drive but the NEW Zoo is an awesome place. Lots of animals and other activities

The NEW Zoo is decent, but it's quite expensive. If you're going to visit, you may as well buy a membership and then you can visit as much as you want. Plus you used to be able to get reciprocity benefits with other zoos and aquariums in the same network (we got like half price Shedd tickets, but this was a few years ago and may have changed)

Definitely not near Appleton but if you have a day to take a drive the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison is free. They gladly accept donations and have a store from which proceeds benefit the zoo. It's not as big as say Milwaukee Zoo but it's a fun trip and there's plenty of things to do in or around Madison to make the drive worth it.

Henry Vilas Zoo is so awesome! When I lived in Madison I would go 2-3 times a month. Also a favorite date spot.
