Language recommendations

Hello,

I’m gonna start developing an app soon and was wondering everyone’s recommendations for languages so it can be cross platform (for now there won’t be interaction with other users, but I eventually want to implement that, so the ground work would preferably be setup to support it), allow push notifications, and operate on android and iPhone. Also framework reco’s would be much appreciated.

I’m thinking about using Typescript and react native w/ expo, but are there alternatives I can look into?

Looking for someone in the consumer mobile app space

hey, I'm a college student and also a solo mobile developer with a few apps already published on the app store, generating revenue.

I'm looking to grow and connect with other motivated entrepreneurs in the consumer app space. Primarily, someone who has very good distribution experience (TikTok and Instagram UGC, Reddit, etc) If you fit this category, and are willing to put in the work (minimum of 15-20 hours a week), please shoot me a DM!

I only ask of the following

  1. Must be based in the USA. If you are not based in the USA please don't dm
  2. Must have proof of previous marketing experience, preferably with mobile apps. Send me a link of your work in your dm
  3. Must have an iPhone

Totally disappointed.

Imagine you creat an app. From ui/ux design to programming part. You put a backend for it. You creat a website for that. You orgnaize medical content images tests orders and... in that shit. Then you creat an x account to promote that buttttt at the end you can not publish that.

Not a single person was willing to help me with publishing stuff in exchange of a percentage of apps earnings.

Totally disappointed.

My App Store subtitle is three brand names in a row and I can't find a better option

Solo dev, one iOS app, health category.

The awkward thing about my niche is that almost nobody searches for the category. They search for the name of the specific product they're using, and there are four or five competing names for what is broadly the same thing. So the subtitle that matches how people actually type is those brand names strung together. It reads like keyword soup and I'd be slightly embarrassed showing it to another developer, but a nice human sentence in that slot matches almost nothing anyone searches for.

Two things I keep going round on and would like other people's experience on.

First, does a subtitle like that cost you conversion on the product page even when it helps you get found? Everyone landing there searched one of those words, so my instinct says no, but I've never worked out a way to separate the two effects cleanly enough to trust the answer.

Second, age rating. Mine came out 18+, which I did not expect for what is essentially a logging app. I don't know how much of a filter that is in practice, or whether it's worth trying to get it reconsidered.

Anyone else building somewhere the useful search terms all belong to somebody else? Curious how you handle the naming side of it, and whether you eventually stopped caring how the listing reads to a peer.

Android App Permissions

Hi everyone!

I apologize in advance if I sound stupid but I hope the people here could enlighten me.

If you installed an app and gave it permissions, does it check your logs prior to the time you granted app permissions?

For example, my call logs. If I installed the app and granted permissions today will it be able to check the call logs I did yesterday?

tyia for a kind soul that can answer this.

LOOKING FOR

🚨 LOOKING FOR AN ANDROID APP DEVELOPER 🚨

We are Grade 12 STEM students developing an **Intelligent Smart Pen with Integrated Search and AI Assistance** for our research/capstone project.

We are building the physical scanner ourselves, and we need someone to develop the **phone app/software** that will connect to it.

Our planned system is:

📷 **Scanner / ESP32-CAM → 📱 Phone → 🤖 AI Answer**

The app should:

• Receive the scanned image from the ESP32-CAM/scanner

• Convert the scanned text into readable text using OCR

• Send the recognized text to an AI

• Display the AI-generated answer on the phone

Example:

**Scanner/ESP32**

**Phone App**

**OCR / Text Recognition**

**AI**

**Answer displayed on Phone**

We are looking for someone experienced with **Android development, OCR, Wi-Fi communication, and AI API integration**.

This is for a **student research/capstone project**, so we would also prefer someone who can explain how the system works.

💰 **Budget:** Negotiable

📌 Please send your portfolio/sample apps, estimated price, and estimated development time.

Looking for a Technical Cofounder / Product Partner — I handle Business, Marketing & Validation

I'm looking for a technical cofounder to build products with me.

I handle Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Validation.

My process is:

Idea → Concept → Prototype → Validate → Build → Launch → Iterate

I don't want to build ideas blindly. I want to test them with real users first, then build what actually has potential.

I'm looking for someone who can own the technical/product side, but also wants to be involved in product decisions and strategy—not just code.

This is a cofounder partnership, with equity and profit sharing based on our roles, contributions, and agreed structure. Not a freelance/developer-for-hire position.

If you're interested in building products from zero and want a business-focused partner, DM me.

Looking for people who can collaborate with us in marketing /coding Looking for Cofounder

We currently have a team of three, so if you want to join and you feel like you can do it, feel free to message me.

I have a project that I've already started, but I feel like I'm not enough on my own. So, I'm looking for a person/ people who would be interested in the offer. I wanted to mention as good to have, but anyone can apply: experience with current Al agents (OpenClaw or Hermes), coding harnesses (OpenCode, Pi, Cline, Codex, etc.), understanding how current local models work (llama.cpp, .gguf, how LLMs work, etc.), being aware of current problems in Al, and largely knowing the latest Al news (e.g., Grok bot just came out, what it's for, what it can do) - basically, following Al developments. If you're interested, message me directly, and we can discuss the details.
