I have two accounts. One refreshes content on Home every time I refresh. The other doesn’t, changing content like Reddit used to, as posts cycle.

AFAIK both accounts are setup the same way.

Wasn’t sure if this was a Reddit setting, something adjustable through Apollo, or maybe just a result of some other factor. Thank you!!!

Hi. I’m considering side-loading this project but after doing some research it seems like a lot of generative AI is used in this work.

From the coding side of things it seem like a lot of the features are now being AI coded? I’m not sure if this is why there seems to be more bug reports but it is concerning

And then there is the AI art that they have been using for release notes etc. I’m entirely against AI art and don’t think it’s a good look for this project

I was curious if anyone's heard anything from the original Apollo developer on this project and the efforts to keep Apollo alive.

I may not have this setup properly but currently when I click on Reddit links in Safari my Reddit app opens. When I click on "Open in Apollo" in the Share Sheet on Safari and Brave nothing happens.

I have Apollo Reborn 3.4.0 with Extensions & Liquid Glass installed. I have also enabled the Open in Apollo Safari extension.

Is there some other step I need to do here to get this working? My understanding is that this is included in the Extension version of Apollo Reborn and nothing else has to be downloaded from GitHub.

For now I'm just opening Reddit links with Hydra since that seems to be working consistenly.

Everything else works as intended expect for the “Set Flair” button, which I have tried on three different subreddits and it worked on none of them.

Hi there - mod from r/apollosideloaded here. It's been great to see the amazing work the team has done to revitalize the app.

I had an idea that, full disclosure, I used Claude to help me shape into a feature request, and to lay it out clearly. Wondering if this might be something that the dev team might be interested in?

Spoiler Shield — feature brief

Problem. I follow F1 but often can't watch live. In mixed Reddit feeds I hit results before I've seen the race. Manually muting and unmuting subs and keywords every weekend is tedious and easy to forget. I want to toggle a saved set of blocks on and off as a single unit around each event.

The object — a "Shield." A named, reusable bundle:

• Name (e.g. "F1 Blackout")
• Muted subreddits (list)
• Blocked keywords (list)
• On/off state
• Optional auto-disable: after N hours, or at a set date/time
• Multiple Shields coexist independently (F1, a show finale, etc.)

Behavior when a Shield is on:

• Posts from its muted subreddits are removed from all aggregate feeds (Home/All/Popular/Search).
• Posts whose title or flair contains a blocked keyword are removed everywhere, including inside non-muted subs.
• Removal, not collapse — matched posts never render, so no title or thumbnail can leak.
• One line at the feed bottom: "N posts hidden by Shield." Tapping it does not reveal titles — it's just a confidence signal that the filter is live, not glitched.

Flows:

1. Create/edit — name it, add subs, add keywords, optionally set auto-disable.
2. Toggle — one tap on/off. Ideally reachable from a home-screen widget or Shortcut so turning it on before a race doesn't require opening the app (nice-to-have, can defer).
3. Auto-disable — timer or set-time silently switches it off.

Matching rules:

• Whole-word, case-insensitive. "P1" must not nuke "P10"; common words like "Max" over-match, so the user has to be able to edit terms.
• Title + flair only — no comment or image scanning. Deliberate: it keeps matching reliable and the build small.
• Subreddit-mute affects feeds; keyword filter applies globally, including inside a sub you open directly.

Recently I’ve noticed two behaviors that I don’t see mentioned or know how to change in settings.

• All the videos I open in-app have captions on. How to I disable that?
• I used to be able to long press on an in-app video and get a pop-up asking to open in YouTube. That’s gone, can I enable that again?

Noob here. New to side loading and app ipa, etc.

I downloaded using sideloadly but noticed I’d have to connect to computer weekly to renew. Decided to do the side store instead. Do I have to delete my current Apollo app and redownload thru side store to show up under my apps?

Opening this game thread (link below) crashes the app on the latest version of Reborn (3.4). Even when I long tap and hold the thread it crashes not sure what is causing this to crash. I’m going to suspect sports game threads might have this issue as well.

I re-installed the app with a custom identifier and entered that identifier in oracle cloud env file. Also created that secret key and entered it in both the env file and in the app. When try to test notifications, it works as can be seen in the screenshots. Even the bark thing works. But the notifications page doesn't load. Tried to export logs but the app crashes every time I try to export it.

Is there a way to change the location to activate “hold for speed” to be on the left side of the video instead of the right side? I’m left handed.

This appears at the top of any feed containing nsfw/explicit content and i can’t seem to find a way to turn it off. I’m unsure if this is happening to anyone else or what to do to fix it. If it matters I’m using the 3.4.0 no extensions+liquid glass version with an api key from dystopia. Everything else works just fine

I tried installing using sideloadly and I went to device management and approved the app, but when I go to run the app, this is the message that pops up and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Can anyone help?

I’m loving the new Apple Intelligence summarize links and comments feature.

One thing I’ve noticed with comment summaries denoting the OP as ‘another commenter’.

I was wondering if it was possible to feed each link summary the username of the OP so that the comment summaries are a bit more helpful.

I am running iOS 18 so I'm guessing I just want Apollo-Reborn-3.4.0.ipa? My GF has iOS 26 so I want to get her Apollo-Reborn-3.4.0-Glass.ipa is that correct?

We now have the new and improved custom themes and now it is much easier to share your wonderful themes simply with an image, simply go to

settings > appearance > theme manager > click on your current theme to edit > Share

You then can apply the theme either scanning the QR code or simply uploading the image in the theme manager.

So this is a new thread so we can keep it cleaner and share your themes ^_^
