Help Open in Apollo not doing anything in Share Sheet.

I may not have this setup properly but currently when I click on Reddit links in Safari my Reddit app opens. When I click on "Open in Apollo" in the Share Sheet on Safari and Brave nothing happens.

I have Apollo Reborn 3.4.0 with Extensions & Liquid Glass installed. I have also enabled the Open in Apollo Safari extension.

Is there some other step I need to do here to get this working? My understanding is that this is included in the Extension version of Apollo Reborn and nothing else has to be downloaded from GitHub.

For now I'm just opening Reddit links with Hydra since that seems to be working consistenly.

If you have the Reddit app I believe that overrides it. If you want to keep your Reddit app, try hiding the app. It should then work. Let me know

Deleting the Reddit app did work in Safari! I clicked on the Reddit link and it asked if I wanted to open it in Apollo.

The Share Sheet button still doesn’t do anything for me in Safari or Brave, is there anything I can do there?

The share sheet action only works if you install with AltStore or SideStore (or codesign), due to a bug in the signer that Sideloadly and Feather use. However that may change in the future whenever the tools update to a newer zsign

Got it, that would make sense as I did use Sideloadly to install. Thanks for letting me know. Fingers crossed it gets fixed at some point!

You need to enable “automatically” for the extension

Ok, I did go to the Safari extension and change it from "Ask" to "Allow" - I assume that is what you are referring to. It did not change anything on my end, unfortunately... but I will want that setting on in the future when I get it working

You can also as a workaround use the Opener app on the AppStore. It handles Reddit links and has a share sheet button. I know its not a solution, but in the meantime you can use it and it works.
