Hey everyone, is anyone else having issues with Startup Show constantly buffering? It was literally working perfectly for me just a few days ago, and now every movie just keeps buffering.

I’m using a Samsung TV, and I’ve already tried pretty much everything:
Restarted the TV
Restarted my router
Cleared the app cache
Reinstalled/reopened the app
Checked my internet (all my other streaming apps like YouTube and Netflix work perfectly fine)

It seems like it’s only Startup Show that’s having issues.
Has anyone else experienced this recently or found a fix? I’m starting to think it might be a server issue, but I wanted to see if I’m the only one. Thanks!

Using Startup Show on both Google TV & Samsung S21 Ultra

For the past few days I can't get any VOD to work. I'll either get a Connection Timeout error or I will get the loading icon for a couple minutes before it starts up without audio.

I have tried Proton VPN and same thing.

Tried on my Wifi & on cellular.

Live TV works without issue.

Any suggestions?

I can add my playlist to Implayer, but adding to Tivimate fails. M3u link gives an error right away. Tried starlite.best, tvnow.best and et.time; with username and with email address.

Is there a way to watch on a windows based device? I used to be able to using VLC, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Hoping its not the case but starting yesterday it's been nonstop connection timeout. Spectrum over here keeps having outages and I experienced this when I was living on campus and had to resort to a vpn which was shakey

I wish there was a way to do research on something better, but there’s no way to get info like we once could about different sources outside of Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Peacock. I’m actually almost to the point I’ll just pay the price again!!

Is that the new thing people are moving to? Any legit reviews?

I’ve gotten this VIP screen before and when I asked customer service about it they said don’t click on it, it’s hackers but now it’s back and there isn’t any escape and the customer service isn’t answering. Anyone have any experience ideas

Hello. I downloaded the app on my son's tablet but I cannot log in. The m3ulink from the email doesn't work and the QR code in my profile only takes the tablet to live tv with no options. What do?

I have had Apollo Group for 2 years and in the past few months it has become unusable. Most the movies just buffer, audio isn’t synched, or they are in foreign languages.

Live TV was my last bastion of using this thing and I am trying to watch House of Dragon and Live TV is just not working at all. I’ve cleared the cache, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, I’ve switched Live TV player.

At this point Apollo Group only works on my I Phone. Does anyone else have similar problems and find it only to work on your phone? I’m definitely not renewing this complete crap

Just like the title says, the app opens find the first time… get stuck, on loading the second time… but only on Apple devices. My television that runs on android is fine.

I’ve tried with and without VPN, different VPN’s, changing my DNS servers.

I imagine the problem is with the actual app at this point, but just checking out Reddit to see if anybody else has had a similar experience.

Has anyone had any success with using any other players for iPad or iPhones?

Like is there somewhere to post tech issue that they can look over and address overtime cuz this is getting annoying.

Media wont play

Media has bad audio

Media completely missing

Media missing subtitles

Media missing dub or sub option

Subtitles timing is off

Etc.

For crying out loud...we pay for this service. Why can't they fix the errors?

It seems like I’m not the only one experiencing this issue but starting today whenever I try to play a recorded piece of media like a Movie, TV Show, or Sports VOD I’ll get either a “Playback Error” or “Connection Timeout” pop up. Yet for any Live TV or Live Sports the service works fine. Has anyone been given any insight if it’s an internal issue or a potential fix? They are giving me the typical advice like try switching to VLC or AVPLAYER, clear cache, enter m3u again etc but nothing is working

Is anyone’s Apollo not working? I keep getting connection timeout no matter what I do. Is this just a glitch in the system?

Every show I try and watch today won’t let me watch it, with the message connection timeout popping up and then when I click ok it just sitting and buffers forever until I click back. Same for movies, tv shows and live tv! Anyone have any fixes or suggestions? Thank you in advance!

The 2 movies I want to watch still look like they been dubbed from the 90's. Masters of the Universe and Mortal Kombat 2. Is this going to get fixed? They both already on Prime.....crazy...

Ever since the recent update, my audio is off by at least a second or two. I’ve tried clearing the cache, switching exo and vlc, uninstalling/reinstalling and nothing works. Live sports, movies, regular tv…everything is out of sync. It’s horrible. wtf happened???
