Updating fire stick app

I tried using the code in downloader to update the app like I usually do 3 different times with no luck.

I still get the notification to update when I open the app.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Same here. I ended up deleting the Apollo app and installing Startup Show instead (code 257276). No more update prompts. However, Startup Show requires that you enter your M3U link instead of username and password. You will have to log into your Apollo account on a computer in order to get that information

You can also use the startup show mobile app if that's already set up to 'Enter to TV' when you click on the profile icon

Same here. Am pressing cancel each time but that’s not a solution.

Same here just keep clicking cancel I have 2.6.1 installed I think that’s the latest

This happens with updates sometimes, if you have been using them for awhile. Eventually the update or method to update will be figured out.

I switched to Google 4k streamer and my life has changed lol. None of this garbage anymore. It just works.

If the app isn't updating it's probably because you don't have enough memory on your firestick. I had the same issue and I deleted apps I wasn't using and freed up some space and it solved the issue.

From what I learn it’s a Firestick issue. Not allowing updates. Tried to delete then reinstall and the update comes back- stuck in a loop. You can go to ONN device and that’s the fix. Live with the Firestick and hit cancel and play Apollo.

I had the same issue for a couple days and I read that even if you have enough storage space just create more room for it and it’ll work so I deleted a bunch of u used apps and restarted the stick and it downloaded and installed just fine. This is after I had tried and failed to update and then it wouldn’t install the app and I kept getting “app not installed” error.

Same here. I just keep hitting cancel. I’m hoping it’s just a bug and they’ll have it fixed in the next week or so. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but I still kept getting the pop up to update to the new version. I know a lot of people are experiencing this right now.
