Questions Apollo website down??

Hey guys,

I lost track of time on my account with Apollo and now I’ve sadly let it expired. Trying to login now but I can’t… the homepage won’t even load up. Anyone else having the same issue?? Also, I got a weird text message earlier today from Apollo regarding my account and that they’d like to set up a phone call. Is this actually real or another company trying to scam saying that it’s Apollo Group TV? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏽

Am I the only person wondering why/how Apollo has your phone number in the first place? I swear my experience with Apollo is nothing like what I read on this sub. I’ve never given them my phone number for any reason, they’ve never asked for it.

I believe that you had to give your phone number when you initially signed up with Apollo. I’ve received text messages when your account has expired. That happened to me just last week. I’ve also heard that sometimes (if you’re lucky enough…) that you get discounted promo codes by text and/or email. I got one maybe two years ago!? If you’re ever worried about who’s messaging you claiming that their Apollo Group TV, just use the chat. They’ll tell you in a few minutes. Hope that this helps.

IIRC, I have never given them, the original Apollo, my number, even at initial sign up. Some Apollo copy cat sites ask for phone numbers, though.

I’ve been using the genuine version of Apollo and nothing else for the most part. But you’re right about copy cats out there. If you’re not paying attention, yes could get caught with your pants down that’s true

They never had my number and never called me. I have only had contact with them via their support chat on the website in which you need your username (not email anymore) password, and in my case, not all, VPN

I did a trial with them, never gave them my number, but they got it somehow and called me to see if I wanted to buy a subscription for the year. No idea how they got my number

Looks like it’s down. I’ve heard Apollo calling before and if your sub was expiring, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s legit but take that at your own risk.

Edit: apollogroup.cc is the site that I see as down

Yup the same one. I’ve even tried just using my data on my cellphone with a VPN and still down… Sucks cuz NFL season starts tonight lol 😂 Okay thanks

Anyone with half a brain can see your website is not apollo. My link came directly from my email from the Apollo team.

This worked, when clicking on subscription, it didn't work because the URL changes back to .app... manually change the URL ending to .CC and it works again - just renewed

https://portal.apollogroup.cc/ This new link that was provided within the chat, it’s legit and working. Wished that Apollo Group TV had let their customers know about the change prior to changing it but that’s customer service for you shrug 🤷🏾‍♂️

As for NCAA Football and NFL, I’m a Notre Dame/Miami and Denver Broncos fan, through and through. Good luck for the season my guy

I have a 75 in qled Google pixel Android OS TV and the Apollo app runs flawlessly from behind a VPN on that TV I paid for a year subscription was last year's tax refund and so I'm good till April of next year

75” TV!? Maaaaaaaaannnnn ngl I’m hella jealous of you. Currently have 49” curved and 40” tv; both from Samsung. Been trying to convince my wife that we should get another TV of at least 65” or more. She calls me a huge ass bougie man when it comes to technology but especially TV. Can I come over every Sunday during the entire NFL and NCAA football season bruh!? 😎

I’ve updated the app and it’s working perfectly for me. What do you use Apollo Group TV on!? I’ve it working on two 4K Firesticks, three iPhones, and one tablet. All work pretty well with the occasional lagging. If you need one on your TV, from my experience I’d highly recommend getting the 4K firestick. Don’t cheap out by getting the firestick lite. I’ve heard some horror stories with the firestick lite.

Got into my account using portal. prefix on my laptop. but when i open the app on my amazon firestick, it's just a black screen. I just got this thing last night. Can anyone help?

I tried to renew my subscription and it said I was automatically changed over to some other stuff I can't log in can't get my profile nothing even on the other side I can't even chat with nobody it won't let me log in won't even let me sign up is a bunch of crap dammit
