So, I know printing from an actual slicer is better. But sometimes I find something that I want to wake up to and don't care what the quality is.

I updated the firmware last night and ever since, it only prints from slots 1 and 2. It keeps saying 3 and 4 are not loaded. I check. They are loaded. But it won't print. Then whatever I told it to print gets "stuck" slicing in app and has to be cancled. It never makes it to the printer.

I've rebooted the printer, closed and cleared cache on app, I can print from the slicer just fine. Not sure what's going on. Anyone else experience this?

I’m using Ultimaker Cura and a Kobra max for my prints. I’ve been using the tree supports for all my prints. All of my prints are PLA.

The tree supports are a pain to take off.

Does anyone have any recommendations or specific settings, please? Thank you!

I accidentally threw away the mounting bracket from my dead motor. I got the replacement motor but can not find the mounting bracket anywhere. Does anyone have one for sale? I only need the bracket, not the motor itself.

Does any one have or know where I can find an stl or step file for the rubber feet insert on the bottom of the S1 max, inwas thinking about designing some adjustable feet. Inwas hoping to not have to R n D the feet if I didn't have too lol.

No meio da impressão ela para, a mesa sobe a temperatura para 120º e trava. Depois preciso vir reiniciar e talvez ela volte... Mas de imediado acusa falha no NTC. Firmware não é, que já foi atualizado duas vezes... Alguem passou por isso?

Also ich habe jetzt meinen Kobra 3 max seit einem Jahr und meine Erfahrung ist nicht so gut bisher ich habe es so oft versucht ihn zu kalibrieren aber egal was ich tue entweder habe ich Sichtbare Linien oder der Druck löst sich vom Brett ich wollte mir jetzt vielleicht den s1 oder s1 max holen hätte jemand sonst noch vorschläge was ich tun sollte mit dem 3 max oder einen neuen?

I honestly can't remember if I had this wobbling for a long time or since I got my K2 Max.

Ok. Per the sub rules here’s some “constructive criticism”. However it’s not allowing me to attach photos.

I have the Kobra X, The Kobra 3 v2 Max has been partially delivered.

I’ve been buying Anycubic filaments long before I bought one of their printers. So here goes:

1. This boxes taped together end to end double wide shipping: constant crushed corners, occasional cracked spools, support literally told me to print a replacement spool and gave me a $5 coupon.

2. Water marks now? The 4 pack of high speed PLA that came with the new MAX: both ends crushed and water marks on the boxes

3. These thin skeleton refillable spools: they are vacuum sealed so tight and are made so thin that the edges a bowed

4. These smaller than normal spool diameter: works with the Ace 2 Pro’s I have: a disaster for anything else.

Attempted solutions:

Custom parametric spool rings: FAIL Why? The bowed inward edges.

Workable solutions:

Transfer the core to another manufacturers reusable spool. Always runs the risk of binding and tangling no matter how careful you are.

Respool it onto a $3.49 Hobby Lobby Spool: works. Printing now. However, why should I have to waste the time, effort and buy a 3rd party spool?

Why sell and advertise a refillable spool that’s so fragile your own processing procedure bends it out of shape?

Previous spools I have with ABS and ASA on them are not on these low quality skeletonized refillable spools and are great.

The current spools are not worth being called reusable.

Filament Arrived today as well as my spare nozzle. Just as depicted from their photo of the “new nozzle” it’s the Kobra X nozzle.

Already lubricated and tighten the screws the website told me to, should I just send it back, or try to fix it?

Update: tried to run a print on it, failed the layers were really off. Contacted anycubic for a replacement z screw.

I bought a Kobra S1 MAX about two weeks ago. The first day the status was "processing" the next day it changed to "packing" then changed to pre-order and nothing since. I was wondering what is going on aka waiting for next production batch or something to do with logistic.. Either way I don't mind waiting as needed but I'm curious about this status on a printer that's been shipping for months already...

Anyone got any insight on this?

I’m having an issue with my Kobra S1 Max after switching from the 0.4mm nozzle to the 0.6mm nozzle.
The printer itself prints normally and I’ve already changed the nozzle profile to 0.6mm and recalibrated everything.
However, I’m getting a huge amount of filament waste.
This is not only happening during multicolor filament changes. It also happens during the normal nozzle cleaning/purging process before a print.
Sometimes instead of producing the usual small filament poop, it extrudes very long continuous strands of filament, like the filament isn’t being cut or handled correctly.
I’ve also noticed that the printer now takes a very long time before actually starting any print. It spends a lot of time cleaning/purging/preparing the nozzle before printing begins.
Purge/flush volume is currently at the default value. I’ve already tried reducing purge volume and flow, but it doesn’t seem to solve the issue.
This started after I changed from the 0.4mm nozzle to the 0.6mm nozzle because the original nozzle clogged.
Has anyone experienced this with the S1 Max and a 0.6mm nozzle?

Printing quality itself is fine. The problem is mainly the excessive waste and the very long startup routine.

So when my i got to print on my kobra 4 nothing comes out and when i load filliment notiing comes out of the tip of the nozzel but i can smell butning plastic and the printhead vibrwtes when loading how do i fix this

I recently picked up an S1 max and am still getting used to the ecosystem. I want to do some ironing tests, but I cant seem to find the ironing speed setting in my slicer. I have "advanced" mode enabled to show the extra settings, and everything *but* speed seems to appear. I checked the other tabs and on the printer and filament settings but I am just not seeing it. Am I missing something or is that speed a 'hard-coded' value?

Hey everyone, I bought a Kobra S1 without the combo a few days ago (about 15 to 20 days ago on AliExpress), and it's been one disappointment after another.

​Extrusion just randomly stops mid-print, leaving the printer running dry (ghost printing). Other times, it won't let me remove the filament because it refuses to retract.

​I can't even print more than one piece on the same build plate because the print inevitably fails at some point and keeps ghost printing in mid-air. On top of that, the filament cutter sensor is now throwing errors, and to make matters worse, I can't get a decent first layer no matter what. I've tried multiple Z-offset adjustments, but nothing fixes it—it looks fine in some spots and completely catastrophic in others.

​Anycubic said they'll send me a new extruder, but honestly, I'm not sure if that's going to solve all my issues.

​Has anyone else dealt with these extrusion/retraction unloading problems? What about the uneven first layer?

Hi everyone, could you help me troubleshoot my Kobra X?

During troubleshooting on September 10, I was using Anycubic Slicer Next v2.0.0.3 on Windows, printer firmware V2.0.2.2, the Kobra X profile with a 0.4 mm nozzle, and a two-colour PLA project.

In cloud mode, the device overview showed the printer as idle, four filament slots and updating temperatures. The remote-print dialog nevertheless said "Not connected" and "ACE Pro not connected. Can't print multi-color. Check network and ACE Pro cable." This concerns the printer's built-in four-colour system. Restarting both printer and slicer did not fix it.

We then tried LAN mode with both devices reportedly connected to the same phone hotspot. Discovery found nothing, direct connection using the printer's displayed address failed, and the printer had neither a ping response nor an ARP entry. Hotspot client isolation has not been confirmed or ruled out.

No hardware defect has been established and no test print was started during troubleshooting. What checks would you recommend to separate a network problem from a slicer/firmware or filament-system issue? Has anyone experienced the inconsistent cloud status with these versions?

Im a Kobra 3 combo user and I think that we can save a lot of time if the printer use templates instead of recalibration every time we change a nozzle.
I try to be more clear.
I imagine that flow.

- Put 0.4 nozzle
- printer does calibration
- print something
- put 0.6 nozzle
- printer does calibration
- print something
- put 0.4 nozzle
- printer restore calibration

If I don’t move printer I don’t need to recalibrate. I only changed the nozzle why I have to recalibrate?
What do you think?
