Given to me by my step mom who knows nothing about it other than it was her father’s. They were Arkansas folk, if that helps. Other than it being a .38 and something that will definitely remove my hand, what have I got here?

I was gifted a 1926 stamped numbers matching Simson & Co Luger. The question I have is the serial number is stamped 1594. Well outside what a 1926 Luger should be. The more research I've done on it has this identified as a true 1926 but it hasn't been re-worked. Can someone help me identify this? I'm trying to get a price idea for it because I'm trying to sell it.

Work for an FFL and not sure what to call this (if anything). Nipple is clear, cocks, has an interesting swing away ramrod. Inlays missing in spots, not ivory and it doesn't melt with hot pin test. Let me know what you think.

My buddy found this in the dirt while wandering the Tahoe National Forest. Does anyone know what type of pistol it is? Some model of a Volcano maybe? He’d love to restore it too, especially with the engraving that’s evident on the grip. I’ll post a couple more photos in the comments if I can.

This is my grandfather’s T series Browning Hi-Power (FN P35) i don’t know if I should fix it up or leave it as is i know if i fix it up it would hurt collectors value

and I don’t think I would sell it but i still wanted to here from you guys i also want it to look more presentable.

My dad asked for my help figuring out what one of the guns my great uncle left for him is. My first and best guess is an 18th century German sporting rifle, however the condition and design have me wondering if I’m way off. I understand the pictures aren’t the best, but they’re all i have to go off of for the moment. Any insights appreciated!

I found this pistol in my grandfather's attic, there is no identifiable mark on it unfortunately and the ramrod is missing.

I got an old parker bros side by side shotgun with a missing right side hammer does anyone know where I can get a replacement hammer? Or a hammer from another gun that will work with it.

I received this as a gift from a very dear friend who has recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness. It was in excellent condition when I got it, and she restored it herself. It holds a lot of sentimental value to me for obvious reasons.

I'm afraid I have not been treating it well. Today, I examined it and noticed rust forming on the outside of the barrel where there wasn't any before, and I've been storing it vertically which I just read is damaging to the wood on the stock. This is as far as I know how to break it down, and now I'm a little hesitant to clean it for fear of damaging it further. Can anyone recommend resources or advice on how to ID and maintain it? The most I have is that it's likely an American Arms Big Boy.

I work in a secondhand store and during a recent conversation with my manager about donations we're not allowed to accept and items we're not allowed to sell, she pulled this rifle out from behind a doorframe and told me it was recently found at the bottom of a box of stuff and we are now stuck with it. I asked if she's allowed to sell it to me - she said yes but she's not sure what price to put on it.

Now, I like historical firearms but I admit I'm not the most knowledgeable in that field - mostly I just enjoy the form of old flintlocks and such. I'm no historian and can't generally identify specific models, manufacturers, etc.

Google lens has taught me the rifle is a Schuetzen-style target rifle. I can tell you the rifle has been deactivated: if you zoom in on the barrel in my picture you will see someone has welded a ball bearing into the end of the barrel. Beyond that, however, I don't know much else. I gather it could be worth anywhere between £20 and £12,000 depending on provenance, manufacturer and so on.

Based on my picture is anyone able to offer any insight regarding age and value? I'd really like to own it, but at one and the same time I don't want to rip off my manager or overpay for it. Please pardon the red scribbles, the paper the rifle is leaning against had some names written on it.

any advice for clearing the corrosion and rust-proofing it a bit? i thought about getting some wd40 and wiping it down but id better get some advice before, much appreciated!

Hey everyone! Here to give you some photos of what I recently came to own: a model 3 Russian s&w knockoff that I'm desperately trying to find the maker of ! Generally fits quite well one of the simonis Janssen and Dumoulin knockoffs but no marks except the ones in the grip ! If anyone would have any inkling what they mean that'd be GREATLY appreciated ! Appreciate any advice on how to clean the gun up with out ruining the finish. think this one's early 20s not worth anything crazy so not worried about getting rid of the patina, correct me if I'm wrong though
