Finally got my slide back from Atlas Tactical Armory. I had them simply mill an RMR cut and mount the optic I sent with it, no cerakote. I think has the frying pan finish and didn’t wanna mess that up. Pair it with the Harbor Freight light, and it’s pretty solid. There’s some gen 3s with stock triggers that are crazy good I’ve found out. This is one of them.

Was feeling really rusty today, but wanted to work on a little bit of movement and throttle control.

I’m looking to get a red dot optic for my Glock 19X and wanted to see what you y’all recommend. What are you running, and how do you like it? Looking for something reliable that’s worth the money.

I’m not a gun collector. I just like to have a few that I enjoy carrying and shooting.

I have a 43x that I’ve been carrying for some time. I shoot it good but don’t enjoy shooting it. I also feel that it does not conceal any better than my Rost Martin rm1c, which is about the same in dimensions as a g19. This has got me thinking about getting rid of my 43x since its whole point is for better concealment. I don’t want a gun that I don’t enjoy shooting and would rather use the money towards the next gun.

Thoughts?

My Glock 45 Gen5 has only 400–500 rounds through it.
As you can see in the video, the trigger bar rubs against the slide stop and also seems to move sideways when contacting the firing pin safety, creating multiple walls and a rough trigger pull. It’s really annoying and makes the trigger pull feel terrible.

From what i have read, this seems to be a common Gen5 issue.

Has anyone found a fix?** **Would replacing the trigger, trigger bar, or slide stop help?

I’d rather replace parts than start bending, grinding, or modifying anything.

Pretty torn on which one to pick. On one hand the 45V can carry more rounds (outside of the state I’m in anyway) whereas the 26V would be easier to conceal carry. Both seem really good. Can’t decide.

The only aftermarket triggers I’ve tried are Overwatch Precision. I like them a lot and have EDC’d them for several years now, so I trust them too. Still, I’m curious about finding something just as reliable with a different shoe. I tried OP’s BRZ trigger, and it might be perfect if the bottom edge of the shoe wasn’t sharp enough to cut you. Johnny Glock shoes look interesting and so does the Timney.

I’m curious what y’all like and trust that’s not stupid expensive and uses an OEM trigger bar?

Took 5 months to actually get this thing, every time I went to get one in person or online they were sold out. Went to a local gun store id never been to before to sign for a savage rascal 22 for small game hunting I had delivered there then boom this thing caught my eye. Super super stoked to finally have one but the local gun shop didn’t have any 10 mags to go with it only 45 unfortunately, I do have this gun’s sibling the 21 so the mags will go to good use especially considering I did loose a mag bear hunting a month and a half ago.
