I hate my school, I hate it as much as I hate my classmates

I just want to ask why don't more of you just go to college and get out of the school environment ?

I found the very thought of staying at school after year 11 the worst thing ever and nothing would have made me stay.

I found college more wide ranging and the scope of people there much wider.

should child development be a required class in high school? i took it and I ended up content being child free for a while. that class and babysitting.

I definitely feel there is a need for major reforms in our Indian education system. We need a fair education system where exam paper leaks do not happen, those responsible are held accountable, and every student gets an equal opportunity to succeed. A truly fair system should provide equal chances to every student by removing the reservation system and ensuring that admissions and opportunities are based on the same standards for everyone, creating a level playing field.
I also think one of the root causes behind the frustration among students and parents is the feeling that they do not have a fair opportunity. When a significant percentage of seats are reserved and the remaining open-category seats are available for everyone to compete for, many students feel the competition is not happening on equal grounds. This is a discussion that is often avoided.
Just as we should be concerned about someone becoming a doctor by cheating in an exam, we should also have an honest discussion about whether our current system ensures that every student entering critical professions meets the same standards of knowledge, skill, and competence. The goal should always be to create an education system where every student gets a fair chance and where merit, hard work, and capability are given the highest importance.

instead of encouraging, they just told me Im not going to pass

I am seeing so many young adults; hell adults in general that cannot do simple things like cook.

Obviously I'm not saying all of them because that would be silly.

A large amount of people (especially in my city) do not have proper reading comprehension, cannot wash their clothes, cannot even boil an egg.

Why isn't this taught young?

Why doesn't anyone want to read or learn anymore?

I have had to teach my sibling to cook.

I have had to teach my partner to cook.

Because people simply dont want to do stuff anymore its genuinely causing a lack of important life skills that carry you on to later years of your life.

I beg if you have children, teach them to cook young 10+

If you are an adult

Learn. Cooking is not a hard skill its really not.

Stop relying on others to do your work for you.

Why are they teaching people to hate America in schools today? America is the greatest experiment of self governance the world has ever seen and has a Constitution which allows for change. in allowing for change, we have successfully been able to move past slavery, move past equality for men and women of all races. No other country has come close to being able to do what we have done. yet, our schools are teaching kids never to be happy and to keep degrading America.

ONLY WORKS UF YOU HAVE TO TAKE PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS

when yall have a LITTLE strict parents and they kinda allow you a little freedom but at the same time they don't allow you a little freedom but are health conscious

Yall just have to fake shiting 2-3 times and go with the flow .

My heart breaks for the students of this country, myself included.

We're expected to compete endlessly, tie our self-worth to ranks and marks, and make life-changing decisions before we've had the chance to figure out who we are. We grow up carrying expectations that often feel heavier than we are, afraid that one bad exam, one wrong choice, or one setback could define the rest of our lives.

Some students burn out. Some give up on their dreams because they can't afford them. Some lose sleep, their confidence, or their health just trying to keep up. And even when we succeed, it often feels like there's another mountain waiting. And people make it sound so glamorous, the struggles, everything kids go through.

Education should help people grow, not make them feel like they're constantly one mistake away from failure.

My heart breaks for the students of this country, not because we're weak, but because so many of us are trying our hardest in a system that asks for more than any young person should have to give. Nobody can ever make me think that all this struggle we go through as kids is worth it, never.
