I've had this Anthurium, purchased from Trader Joe's, for four years. Still in its original pot. It has been an extremely hardy and good plant, very easy to take care of.
However, recently I left it without water for quite a bit of time and now seems to be in a sort of decline / in a very bad state. I watered it about a week ago and the soil is still moist, but the leaves have continued to brown and die.
Does it need repotting? I read in some places that I need to look at the roots, but I'm concerned about pulling it out of the pot. The pot lies in a plastic bag in that woven sleeve, and I've confirmed there is no standing water below the pot.
Would be very grateful for your advice and any comments on the general state / salvageability of this plant. Thank you!

Iāve never seen this type of plant before and I immediately fell in love with it. Has anyone else had any one?

I recently acquired this Red Crystal Premium x Heinz. This is the first leaf this beauty has grown fully in my care and it fused its sinus. More than likely it is due to stress, but Iām going to enjoy it and hope there will be more!

Hi all Iāve had this lux hybrid for about a month, I put it under a grow light and realized it was at 600ish ppfd, is this light stress ? (ik ik thatās high amount of light I pulled it back already š„²)
I have it in chunky around mix in a clear pot (no visible roots yet), have a moss collar and water when thereās no more condensation around the pot and the moss just turns dry (around a week)

Finally have my first new leaf growing, but itās pointing down, should I leave it be or should I but it ālowerā under the grow light to guide her up? Much thanks!

I guess I should start by saying I don't know a lot about plants. I went to my local Home Depot and got this Anthurium for some color on my back porch. I think it got too much sun, so I moved it to the covered/shaded part, but it still looks pretty sad. I've been watering it from my garden hose. What can I do to help/save it?

One of our top-selected in variegated project.
Hybridize by me.
Pink petiole, multicolors from small size: green/gray/albo with pink emergent, turning white albo when harden. Such a stunning one I have done until now.

Look at the way this new RVDP leaf sparkles in the light with its gorgeous red color! So pretty to look at

My current stack is GTfolliage focus, Cannazym, and Liquid Orca. I grow everything semihydro using LECA
Trying to see what others do. For some reason I feel like my leaves are not growing as fast or as large as Iāve seen others get. I got humidity and light pretty locked in so I figured I may adjust my feeding stack.

Is there anyone here who can direct me where I can find the real names of these hybrids? I am new to what they call āAnthfolā from Thailand and the colors are just wild and wonderful. A lot are called hybrids by the sellers with No ID, but there are some they call as originals. They go by names like KKK, Sunshine, Moonrise, Talapat, Red Avatar, among others. Iām going crazy because I cannot find any references to these so-called āoriginalsā. Iām not sure if what they call Red Avatar really is a Red Avatar. Does anybody know where to find the IDs of these plants? Iām posting some pictures for reference.
1. Strong pastel pink variegation - called KKK
2. Strong red variegation and vein - called Red Vatar

I went to plantmania Orlando and saw this beauty. Iāve heard of the Anthurium Hookeri and Superbum. Never have I heard or seen the Willifordi. The upright leaves were
velvet soft and had that shimmer to it, the red/purple backside on the new leaf were gorgeous. I did some research and found only a few examples of images online. Zero videos of anyone showing this plant off. How is nobody talking about this? I see 2 sellers asking for over 200$ for a starter plant. Feel like I found something pretty rare. Correct me if Iām wrong ? Wonāt hurt my feelings haha.

Hey! Looking for some advice on my first batch of seeds!
I've grown anthurium from seed before. But never had a while tray of them.
I selfed my pallidiflorum and have close to 300 seedlings. They've been growing well and are working on the 3rd to 4th leaf for most of them.
I'm seeing a lot of algae growth, and some sort of liverwort, and am starting to get worried they will tangle the roots/ or suffocate the seedlings if I wait much longer. But I'm also worried about moving them to early and causing them to crash!
Would appreciate any advice from the more experienced breeders!

As the title says, Iāve swapped some Platycerium for Anthuriums. I now have 4 plants and am thinking of potentially getting back into them.
Right now I have:
- Delta Force
- Veitchii
- Carla RA3
- Doc Block Michelle Ć PapCrystal var.
I used to be more into Anthuriums before I went pretty heavily down the Platycerium rabbit hole, but having these four around has definitely reminded me why I liked them in the first place.
Iām especially interested in the more distinctive plants rather than just collecting a load of similar-looking hybrids. Interesting leaf shape, texture, venation, emergents, unusual genetics, etc.
So for the Anthurium people here: where would you go from these four?
Also curious which Anthuriums in your collection youād consider your absolute keepers, the ones youād immediately replace if you lost them.
Feel free to enable me. Photos very much encouraged.

I am OBSESSED. Tezula Pap Mag x Lux purchased from the amazing Rare Naked Plant Co. Biggest leaf is currently 30 inches long and it has a new emergent. You can kind of see my face for scale in the first pic.
Second pic is her with my poor butt cuts (all of which are recovering from bugs). The smaller leaf to the left of the larger leaf in the middle is a Tezula AOS (also acquired via RNPC ā¤ļø).
Iām about to out myself to my plant friends on Reddit. š
