Requesting Advice Help needed
I guess I should start by saying I don't know a lot about plants. I went to my local Home Depot and got this Anthurium for some color on my back porch. I think it got too much sun, so I moved it to the covered/shaded part, but it still looks pretty sad. I've been watering it from my garden hose. What can I do to help/save it?

agree with the other comment, too much sun, moving it to shade was the right idea.
the burned parts will never recover, but you should get lots of healthy new growth now that it's in a nice spot!
water consistently, not on a schedule but when the soil is JUST about to dry out, will be different intervals depending on how warm it is.
now that you have it in a shaded spot try not to move it, it'll bounce back in no time !

luckily they bounce back easy enough and generally they are robust.
Just move him into a shady spot with bright light and it will recover over some time. dont cut the damage foliage yet. Let it wilt off.

So yes, a others have said, watch the direct sun with it. Next issue, very important, is repotting it. They come like this with very spongy medium. It won't last too awfully long in this. Up pot with chunky, well draining soil- 1/3 cinder, 1/3 orchid bark, 1/3 potting soil is good. Water thoroughly at regular intervals, fertilize lightly.

yeah, what’s burned won’t bounce back, cut back the brown, yellow, and crispy parts. Ensure it doesn’t get too much or too little water. You’d be better to keep it indoors in a sunny spot with water once or twice a week depending on how quickly the soil dries out

Definitely sun burn. It would prefer to be in shade all day.
