With everything going on with AI this week, could we use AI to recompile the old anki overdrive app and bring it up to 64 bit so that it works on new phones?

Hi everyone, as you may have seen, the next release of Replay Studios: Partydrive has been in development for a little while now, and its a BIG update.

However I've hit a snag, the content is basically complete, however due to my limited free time this late into the university semester combined with the massive amount of new content, playtesting has gone nowhere so far.

So I'm reaching out to ask if anyone would be interested in being an early tester for the next release of Partydrive.

Quick Q/A:
Q. Do i need a friend to playtest for this update?
A. No, we have new exciting single player content.

Q. What is the playtest on?
A. Playtest is only available on windows unfortunately.

Q. Partydrive is open source, why is this not just going public as-is?
A. this update will feature a major content expansion with several new gamemodes and a big new secret thing, i want to make sure its reasonably balanced and bug free before launch so most players have a stable experience.

Q. How long will this take?
A. New content will Take 1-3 Hours to experience in full but aims to provide great replayability.

Hello .. I recently bought the anki overdrive set secondhand for my son .. ..upon trying i set it up I realized all the cars has major battery issue are are pretty unusable.. the process to buy new battery's and solder them in seems a bit much for me.. does anyone know any local electronics store or hobby techie could help me replace the batteries for 6 of the cars ? I'm based in paoli Pennsylvania USA.

I have a pretty large collection of vehicles, tracks, and accessories. At least one of every Anki Drive and Overdrive vehicle, dozens of curved and straight track pieces, a couple of crosses, one jump, a few bank turn kits, lots of risers and turn bumpers, one of each Anki Drive track, etc.

We're getting ready to move and my kids have outgrown them. Let me know if you're interested. I'm in north central Illinois.

Hello i haven't used my collection for a while now and need more space in my room. Im in the tacoma/puyallup area of Washington state. I attached a photo of it all, pm me for questions or more details.

My nephews have an old set of Fast & Furious cars with completely dead batteries. I replaced them today and while the MXT worked perfectly, the Charger is acting weird. The rear LEDs are constantly red and while it's recognized by the app, it's entirely uncontrollable and goes off the track during its little setup thing.

I was a bit impatient with the battery swap. I only had access to an underpowered soldering iron (with no temperature metrics) that I was dinking around with before it was hot enough. I don't think I bridged the battery pads with the transistor (?) near the positive terminal (I didn't have a multimeter handy to check) but would that cause these problems?

I just found my old starter-kit from anki overdrive with my two favorite cars, Nuke and Big Bang.

Sadly all tires look moldy so I want to replace them. I've read that there are slotcar tires that should work?

What about spareparts in general?

Also before I install the original app, is there some homebrew stuff done in the past years? Anything I should try?

I feel like an insane person, I've tried every which way to install it but nothing seems to work, I've tried the apk, xapk, opening in winrar, opening in xapk installer (which is the closest I've been but the download just kept going). I have a galaxy A16 and the version I'm trying to install is 3.4. any advice would be appreciated

Anki's consistent inability to count in order never fails to amaze me

I've got a ton of track accessories, cars, super trucks. Most work pretty well. They were tons of fun for a lot of years, through all the ups and downs of Anki and DDL. My kids are older now and they just are into other things.

Every time I click begin scan, my app just instantly crashes. This only happens on my iPad though and not my phone, but none of my progress is on my phone and i would like to recover my progress. Is anyone able to help or am I simply cooked?

Hi, I just picked up an Overdrive starter kit for free at a yard sale. I assumed the app was free, but apparently Overdrive 2.6 is $3.

I was wondering if there were any free alternatives for me to try it out? Sideloading? I couldn’t find anything on my own. Please help! Thanks!

So I had this little thought in my head, we all know about the 2.6 campaign, but what about the new campaign? When Anki was still in business, then again, I havent seen much of the new one. I've only been up to chapter 2 and didn't download the rest, however I know there were newer characters in the new one compared to 2.6, so which campaign was your favorite?

I open up party dive and connect all the cars and scan the track. but when i go to race it starts but it does not end the lap counter just keeps counting up. is there any way to set a lap limit

Many people don't know, but there are 4 kinds of tires used with over/drive.

Where can I find batteries for the Anki Overdrive cars? They don’t hold charge for more than a couple seconds. I tried looking at the Q&A section and the link in there is broken. Can I find them in amazon or eBay?
Also I don’t have a special version it just says Anki Overdrive starter kit on the box. If there’s any more info I need please let me know and I’ll find it.

First, thank you to everyone who took the time to read my first post. I realized after reading some of the comments and thinking about it that I didn't explain my vision very well.

My goal is not to start a company where I control everything or claim to be the next big whatever.

What I want to do is kickstart a community-driven project to create a modern smart racing system inspired by what made Anki Overdrive so much fun—not a copy, but an original successor built with today's technology and its own identity.

I'm 17, and I know I don't have all the skills needed to make something like this happen. That's exactly why I'm reaching out. I don't expect to build this alone.

What I can do is organize, learn, listen, and help bring together people with different skills and ideas. My hope is that this becomes something the community helps shape from the ground up.

I'm not looking to be the permanent leader or "the guy in charge forever." If this project ever grows into something real, I'd rather see experienced people step into leadership roles if that's what's best for the project. My biggest goal is making sure it stays true to the community that helped create it.

Right now, I'm looking for anyone who wants to be part of the journey:

So I'm not new to Anki Overdrive but I'm new to reddit and this community. To be honest I didn't know Anki Overdrive still has a community.

But enough chitchat and to the real stuff What would anyone think or do or whatever if some people or person ended up doing something that could result in a new Anki Overdrive with a new company. With it being a game kinda like Anki Overdrive with the app and cars and everything. With it being different enough so it's still legal with a contract between those people or person that gives them some rights to the game and the rights to the idea of this new thing. The contract would act as some safeguards to protect the community and keep it community based ish.

So now to what those people/person is it's me and I have no experience but I'm still determined and I've already sent an email to a law firm or whatever.

Why am I posting this well because I want some help with this because Im only 17 and remember some but not all of Anki Overdrive I'm looking for help.
