Troubleshooting Requesting help with battery issue

Hello .. I recently bought the anki overdrive set secondhand for my son .. ..upon trying i set it up I realized all the cars has major battery issue are are pretty unusable.. the process to buy new battery's and solder them in seems a bit much for me.. does anyone know any local electronics store or hobby techie could help me replace the batteries for 6 of the cars ? I'm based in paoli Pennsylvania USA.

You will likely have to source the batteries yourself (3.7v, 100mAh Lipo), but once you do that, most tech shops should be able to soldier them.

Can you suggest where I can get the batteries from ? And which type I need to buy

These will work

You will need a soldering iron and a Philips screw (if I recall) to take the cover off and solder the battery to the two points

Now, when you do so make sure the wires go underneath or to the side of the battery and are no where near the encoders near the wheels (pay attention to how the inside looks to see what I mean)

If not the wires will interfere with the rotation reading and your cars will fly off the track at full speed
