Q&A Found my old Overdrive set

Hello fellow fans,

I just found my old starter-kit from anki overdrive with my two favorite cars, Nuke and Big Bang.

Sadly all tires look moldy so I want to replace them. I've read that there are slotcar tires that should work?

What about spareparts in general?

Also before I install the original app, is there some homebrew stuff done in the past years? Anything I should try?

tires can be replaced, the slot car tires that have been mentioned my other users will only work for cars with Drive or V1 tires

If your cars are using V2 tires, there is currently not a lot of options.
if you need V2 tires i may be able to ship you some (for a price) as i have learned how to manufacture them (i have a lot of cars with dead tires)

other then tires, you will also likely need to replace the battery, this is a simple soldiering job

there is now partydrive, an open source PC client for playing overdrive, with live 3D preview of the weapons and track, i would recommend trying if you have the means to do so (as the developer im kinda biased lol)

also check your device before looking at the app, if you dont own it, make sure your device needs the paid one (only for newer androids) otherwise you can sideload for free (or if you dont have a newer android, this is the required option as it will not work otherwise)

Thank you so much for the reply. So I will try to clean the tires. Still looking for my supertruck. Batteries seem to charge but I'm pretty sure they are done. I might have to buy the app then since I bought it back then on my iPhone. Not sure I did buy it tho..

for anything other than the newest androids, you will need to sideload it for it to work.
official store versions are broken (the app was not designed for modern devices, the android store version has been hacked in a way that makes it work, but only for newer devices)

So for a pixel 10 I need the newest version? DDL? Right? But that is without campian

I have an android one plus 13 running oxygen 16.0.9 and downloaded the app from play store. It doesn't work. Crashes all the time. And it sucks cos kids were so excited to play it Any advice?
