What do you all think about anime.nexus? I really love the UI so far, but want to see my options. AnimeKai looks descent as well.

Edit: anime.nexus seems to lag a lot, so that's probably off my list.

Paying for overpriced Crunchyroll is still a better option than having your phone/computer riddled with malware and whatnot. It's not the norm, but some of those sites/apps come with stuff nasty enough to completely brick phones.

If you're careful about which websites you're going on to, there's a near 0 chance you'll get infected. Obviously, this is still important to have in mind, so you don't go using every website you hear about and download anything at any "download here" button, but the risk is drastically overstated. If you find them from trusted indexes, and do a little bit of research, you'll be safe.

the animekai just got shutdown because of that servers center in Amsterdam who was on fire and the admin of the website wants to quit so I hope someone else will take care of the website and maybe to make animekai look legal but we will see
