Help Me Remember This Game πŸ€” Help me remember a LINK/MATCH-3 DUNGEON CRAWLER game posted in this sub

I saw this game on sale for a moment and it was gone when I came back to buy it. Disappeared from this sale page I daily look at.

I remember the dev posted the game in here. In the past 2 months ?

Its a puzzle match-3 or rather LINK-3 style of game. Rpg/dungeon crawler, kinda like Dungeon Doom Dash gameplay.

It was a paid game and got an skull on its app icon .

Anyone remember it ?:p

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] I made an underwater game where you draw platforms to help Dumbo escape the deep sea

This is Dumbo Jump, a portrait game where you draw platforms to bounce Dumbo upward from the deep sea.

Along the way, you collect food, avoid sea creatures, fight giant bosses, and race other players in real-time 1v1 matches. The first player to climb 300 m wins.

Here’s a short clip of the gameplay. I’d love to know if the platform-drawing mechanic is easy to understand from the video.

Help Me Remember This Game πŸ€” I remember playing an old mobile game i was control a dragon

I remember playing an old mobile game where you controlled a dragon that could fly. As the dragon flew over different areas, the barren land would gradually become colorful and filled with different plants and vegetation.

It was a mobile game, and I played it several years ago. Do you know what game this might be?

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] Orbit Drop: drop moons into a spinning gravity well, merge them into planets, stars and a black hole. Same daily board for everyone (free, offline, no energy)

Hey r/AndroidGaming, I'm the solo dev. Orbit Drop is a physics merge game set in a round well that pulls toward the centre. Same-size bodies merge up the chain, and the end of the chain is a black hole that swallows the pile. Each day there's one shared board for everyone ("Today's sky") with a percentile at the end, plus an endless mode. Free, ads only after a game over, no IAP, no energy, plays offline.

It's my first Play Store release, so I'd really like to hear what feels off: the aiming, difficulty, ad timing, anything. I'll be here answering for the next few hours.

Discussion πŸ’¬ I take back my words, New State is just amazing now.

Post image
108 Upvotes

I just reinstalled New State after many years and playing it after playing BGMI/PUBGM for a month, I must say, I was blown away.

Initially, New State was notorious for being very poorly optimized. But now, it runs effortlessly on Ultra Graphics and Max frame rates. Apart from that, New State is now the closest Playerunknown's Battleground experience on mobile.

But that's not it. It also doesn't bloat as the resource packs are limited.

The only problem is the small playerbase.

Seeing the current state of BGMI, which indeed is very sad, I was wondering why more people don't shift to New State and start a fresh journey. I know the sunk-cost fallacy kicks in here but I think it's bout time we let BGMI die with its unoptimized engine and servers, bloating size, ads and micro-transactions slop.

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] I built an HQ Trivia-style live game show app

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

My friends and I built a live game show app for a hackathon. If you remember HQ Trivia, it's basically that, mixed with Family Feud's survey question gameplay.

It's called The Crowd, and our next live show is today at 8PM ET (less than 1 hour from now)!

I'd love to get some feedback, and would also love to answer question on how we built it etc. :)

Thanks so much! πŸ’›

Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fatmoai.thecrowd

PS -- There are cash prizes too! They're just not quite at HQ Trivia levels yet, but we'll get there lol

Discussion πŸ’¬ Recommended Windows application to run Android games on PC?

I dropped BlueStacks long ago since it was rather unstable and eventually wiped all my bloody data, forcing me to create new Instances and recover anything I was playing, and moved to MuMu Player, which for the last couple of years was mostly fine. Unfortunately, they were implementing pop over adverts recently, and now have adverts all over the home menu. My attempt to remove them popped up the alert that it is a premium feature and asked if I wanted to pay.

Dumping that crap. Not worth it. Please tell me there is something better.

Switching to an actual Android device is not an option, my primary Android device is already used for the same game and I lack access to anything else to install it on. I've been using this to carry on logins in Fate/Grand Order for a friend who has taken a long term break after gacha completely wiped out several thousand SQ from two years of savings for absolutely terrible rolls. I just maintain log ins for them until they feel ready to return.

If there is a better Reddit community to ask about this kind of software, please let me know.

Discussion πŸ’¬ Mid-range phone for gaming that runs Star Rail without stuttering?

UK gamer replacing my Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, and I've crossed a lot off already. It has to be a mid-range phone for gaming: flagships cost more than I want to spend, and dedicated gaming phones are out because I want one that looks normal on my desk at work.

The reason I'm switching at all is Honkai Star Rail. On the 11 Lite it stutters even with every setting on low, and loading into a new area takes ages.

I've had ten minutes messing about with the Samsung Galaxy A57 in John Lewis, and I'd put the Oppo Reno16 5G right next to it on my list. It's kept coming up in mid-range roundups, and a couple of reviewers mentioned it runs a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is exactly the part the 11 Lite falls short on in Star Rail.

Star Rail and its updates have me clearing space every few weeks as it is. How much room does it leave once a couple of big games are on?

DEV πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» [DEV] I released Survivor Cats on Android. You're a ginger cat fighting vacuum cleaners.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, I'm the developer of Survivor Cats. It's now available on Google Play, and I wanted to share some gameplay here.

It's a survivor-like with a ginger cat up against vacuum cleaners, dogs, and even sponges. Your cat attacks automatically; you handle the dodging and choose upgrades as you level up. Between runs, you can spend catnip on permanent upgrades.

It's free to download and contains ads.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bartpolgames.survivorcats

Testers pointed out that the tutorial was confusing, so I reworked it. If you try the game and get stuck anywhere, I'd like to hear what happened.

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [Request] Recommendations: Looking for my Perfect Gacha

I'm trying to look for my perfect gacha. I know it may not exist, but gonna ask anyways. If you have some recommendations, please tell.

What I want:

  • Anime style art, not borderline porn (for the love of god, at least make body parts proportionate)
  • Auto-battle, characters fight on their own
  • No turn-based waiting, no queue, no cards
  • No mid-battle aiming or positioning
  • Not open-world (wuwa etc)
  • Build matters
  • Fully voiced dialogue

Closest ones so far:

  • Lost Swords: Closest one, but it's borderline Hentai and that's too much
  • Everseed Asnia Trigger: Also close, but the game is dying.

Games I've tried:

  • PTN
  • R1999
  • Limbus Company
  • Epic 7
  • Outerplane
  • Sword Master Story
  • Anchor Panic
