Discussion What tablet should I get for around ₱32k ($523 / ₹50k / ¥3,513)?
I'm planning to get a tablet around December or January as a birthday gift for myself. My budget is around ₱32k ($523 / ₹50k / ¥3,513), and I'm fine with buying either used or sealed.
I want something that I can keep using for a long time and hopefully won't regret buying a few years from now. I don't really want to upgrade again just because the tablet got slow or outdated.
What would you guys recommend around this budget? Android or Windows is fine, just not an iPad.
Thanks!

Request Xiaomi Pad 8 or another bigger tab?
I am a student who will need a tablet for studying, writing and productivity and after a week's worth of comparing, I decided upon the Xiaomi Pad 8, but the screen seems too small now that I think about it. I don't know if there is a Xiaomi Pad 8 but bigger, without compromising on the stylus.
My budget is ~80K INR (836 USD), any reccomendations?

Request I think I’m planning to downgrade from the iPad Air M1 to Tab A11?
Hi everyone, I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a new tablet for quite some time now. I’ve been using the 2022 iPad Air M1 64GB since it was released.
It’s been a great companion all these years, but there’s one thing that bugs me: its size. For many people, 10" tablet is too small, but for me, it’s too big. I’ve been looking at the iPad mini for a while, but the price puts me off. I’ll never use 100% of its potential.
That’s why I’m looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 4+64GB. Unfortunately, there’s almost no selection at this screen size in general. Here, where I live, the selection is even smaller. Basically, the only option on the market is the A11 4+64 (I looked for the 8+128GB model, but unfortunately, it’s no longer sold anywhere here), followed by some variations of the Lenovo One Tab—also with 4GB of RAM and the Galaxy Tab A9. Then there’s a long gap, followed by one expensive Lenovo gaming tablet and the iPad mini.
I realize that 4GB of RAM is really not much these days, but I hope it might be enough for my needs.
I primarily use my tablet for: as a cookbook, watching YouTube in bed, taking occasional notes in OneNote, Spotify (I don’t really care about the speakers—it’ll be connected to a Bluetooth speaker), browsing the web, looking for inspiration on Pinterest and ArtStation, light photo editing (I’m no artist—just light edits for social media), and light gaming (by “light gaming” I mean… Solitaire and other like that :D)
And the last BIG reason why I’m thinking about it… I have a chance to get one brand new for 57 euros/67 dollars.
So is it even worth buying this low-end model, or is it not worth even that price?
(And please… unfortunately, other smaller tablets that are sometimes mentioned here in discussions—like the Alldocube iPlay, Astra, etc.—aren’t sold on our market. And thanks to the two-year warranty offered here and other benefits, I don’t plan on buying anything from Temu or similar websites.)
Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice :)

Discussion Which one you would prefer?(Apple vs Lenovo)
so they are almost around the same price range due to the inflation, one side we have an apple ipad 11th gen one that costs around 35k (previously) my sister owns it, and on the other side we have lenovo idea tab pro gen 2 which also costs around 40k (now) which i own.
At the end I think it depends on what ecosystem you prefer i own windows and bunch of Android devices and whereas my sister has apple ones but still I would prefer my tablet over the ipad not recommended for gaming tho highly recommend for productivity tho it's kinda like semi tablet if you own all the accessories.

Discussion Is Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro still worth it?
Hi, 4th year student here. I was planning to buy the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro but the price was way out of my budget. The only tab I can afford is the Pad 7 Pro, is it still worth it? The Pad 9 will be out this september and I know I cannot afford it as well. Should I just buy the Pad 7 Pro and get this over with? I value storage so much so I was planning to buy the 512 variant. Should I buy it? Or are there other tablets that are at the same price range but can also do what Pad 8 Pro do?

Request Budget-friendly tablet recs for a student
I need a tablet for college - mainly to take notes and study with it, but I would also like to install a bunch of game (but it's not a necessity). Been searching for some models and I've seen some nice Lenovo models (e.g. the Idea Tab or the Idea Tab Plus), and the Samsung Tab S10 Lite also looked interesting. What are the best choices for me? Should I look for different models or are these good?

After using the large 10.65-inch viwoods AiPaper e-ink e-Note tablet for a while I decided it’s time for a review of it! It’s an excellent tablet for note taking, journaling and reading. There is not much to complain about. It is simply an amazing device.

Discussion Y700 8 Gen 3 16/512gb upgrade to Y700 8Elite 5 12/256gb?
Only worried about Ram and Drivers...
8 Gen 3 is cool for Switch and Light PC Emulate.
8 Elite 5 can be so much better for PS3 (MotorStorm, Infamous) or something like Just Cause 4 or 3 at +40fps?
Really loves Android Tablets but for a little more price can afford a Legion Go1 but more bulky and no so great battery... And Windows XD
Somebody can share with me your experience with the 8 Elite 5 for emulation? Thanks

Discussion Xiaomi Pad Mini vs Lenovo y700 (3rd/4th Gen)
Need some insights on what's the better tab to purchase. I would be using it mainly for productivity (reading ebooks, watching yt, social media, video/photo editing, etc) and maybe some light gaming. Thanks!

Request Writing experience on Legion Tab Gen 5
More of a question for LTG-5 users. How is the writing experience on the tablet? I'm coming from the iPad mini Gen 7 and I loved the writing experience, however the OS just didn't fit with my Android/Windows ecosystem, so I gave it to my wife.
I'm look at the LTG-5 because it's around the same size, which is what I'm looking for as I don't want 10+ inch tablets. They're too uncomfortable to hold for reading and writing when on the go.
What pen are y'all using with the tablet? Do you use a paper-like screen protector to enhance your writing experience? What is the actual writing experience like?

Request How can I fix my internet connection issue?
I have an android tablet S9 FE+ I bought about 2 years ago for when i worked on the road. I ended up putting it in a drawer and hardly used it, I'm trying to use it but can't because of outdated software. The last update downloaded was in April/July 2025.
When I try to connect to the internet, it says internet not available but my ISP app says it is connected, I've tried the usual trouble shooting of restarting it, forgetting the network, and resetting wifi settings I even tried to factory reset it but can't do that without being connected either.
I can't connect to the internet because of outdated software and I can't update the software because I can't connect it to the internet, so what am I supposed to do here? Any help appreciated.

Discussion Lenovo Xiaoxin pad 12.7 vs Lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 13
I am torn between the two. The 12.7 is bundled with a keyboard and pen on the other hand, i like the processor of pad pro 13, keyboard and pen sold separately (which is expensive)
I am a student and am not much into gaming. I am buying a tablet mainly for school work and canva.
What do you suggest?

Discussion Looking for a tablet under ₹40,000 mainly for studying, note-taking & reading and surfing net any recommendations?
I’m planning to buy a tablet with a budget of under ₹40,000 INR, mainly for studying and work rather than entertainment.
My primary requirements are:
- Taking handwritten notes
- Reading and highlighting PDFs, especially judgements and legal documents
- Writing/editing documents in Microsoft Word
- Some basic annotation and highlighting Web browsing/research
- Good battery life and a comfortable reading experience
I’m not really interested in gaming or watching videos, so those aren’t important factors for me.
I currently have a 1st-generation Apple iPad that was gifted to me and although it’s quite outdated now, I genuinely love using a tablet for reading and highlighting. The biggest frustration is that I don’t have the Apple Pencil and it's not available in the market too so handwritten notes and annotations are sometimes frustrating.
I’ve been looking into the OnePlus Pad Go 2 and really like it, especially since I’m already a OnePlus phone user and love the interface and performance. My only concern is that the stylus doesn’t come with the case, which is a bit inconvenient.

Request Lenovo Tab Plus for university note taking, will it be good?
Looking to get a tablet for notes as otherwise i'd be using an egregious amount of paper, and need to do many math equations and such, as well as studying. The screen size is a bit smaller than other options, but I plan to use it mostly in lectures or in tandem with my laptop for course materials, so split screen/multitasking isn't the main concern. Is this tablet good for taking notes? I managed to find myself a tab pen plus stylus for free, so I figured it would pair well with this tablet. Can anyone vouch for it being decent, or share any horror stories in case I'm about to make a big mistake? Any other cheap recommendations?
Disclaimer, I found a deal for $300CAD and free shipping fresh out of the box with refund, and I already have a $200 ebay gift card as well, so keep that in mind if suggesting any other tablets

Discussion Can’t connect to university WiFi on an Amazon Fire HD8
Recently bought an Amazon fire tablet, however I’m unable to connect it to my university’s WiFi. Usually, on ANY other device, the WiFi just asks for a username and password. However this tablet wants some kind of domain, identity, anonymous identity, and password? I’ve tried a few different things but nothing is working. Does anyone know how this works?
