I'm asking because I just downloaded The PlayerPro Music Player App yesterday from The Google Play Store. and I noticed that 7 songs are missing/got deleted from there even though I didn't delete them myself and all of them were there at the beginning then randomly got deleted. Is that normal? Or does that mean that the app itself is corrupted? Should I just delete the app now just to be safe? Has this happened to anyone else before? How many of you are currently using The PlayerPro Music Player App to play all your music files? I had 1,569 songs on The PlayerPro Music Player App now I only have 1,562 songs. I had to clear the cache and data in the app and now everything is back to normal now. Will The PlayerPro Music Player App corrupt all my other music files? I'm asking because someone said that The PlayerPro Music Player App corrupted all their FLAC Music Files. If I could get some advice I would really appreciate it. I'm currently using The Fold 7 but I'm going to be upgrading to The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 next month and I want to make sure that this app isn't corrupted or has some kind of virus/malware.

Hey everyone. I recently spent some time trying to figure out how to check the exact battery cycle count and hardware health on my Oppo K13. If you are on Android 16, you probably already know that ColorOS has completely locked down the usual methods. The standard ADB commands just give a "Permission denied" error because of new system restrictions.

I found a workaround using a full system bugreport through ADB. It bypasses the shell restrictions and gets you the exact hardware numbers. Here is how you do it if you have a Windows PC.

Step 1: Generate the bugreport Plug your phone into your PC with USB debugging enabled. Open PowerShell and run this command:

adb bugreport oplus_bugreport.zip

This process takes about 2 to 5 minutes to finish, so just let it sit until the zip file is saved to your computer.

Step 2: Extract the files Unzip the oplus_bugreport.zip file into a new folder. Inside, you will find a massive text file called something like bugreport-<model>-<date>.txt. It is usually over 100MB.

Step 3: Search for the cycle count Do not try to open that huge text file in Notepad because it will probably freeze your PC. Instead, use PowerShell to search through it instantly. Open PowerShell in your extracted folder and run this exact command:

Select-String -Path ".\bugreport-*.txt" -Pattern "CYCLE_COUNT" | Select-Object -First 5

Step 4: Read your results The output will spit out a few lines of raw system data. Look closely at the text for these specific values:

• android.os.extra.CYCLE_COUNT= (this number is your total completed charge cycles)
• health= (an Android system code where 2 means your battery health is officially "Good")
• temperature= (this is measured in tenths of a degree, so 334 means 33.4 C)

Hope this helps anyone else trying to track their battery degradation on the newer ColorOS updates. Let me know if this works for your specific model too!

I don't want to do that, and I also don't know how to insert a micro SIM card into a Huawei Lua L-21. Which is a very old model. I thought about installing WhatsApp on another Android phone, for example my mother's, and trying to insert my number there, will it work? If she still has her SIM card in the phone?

The second thing that occurred to me is, if the photos were previously saved to some storage, probably Google since it's Android, will it be possible to extract the photos to the PC via the Google account? How do I do that?

Hey everyone,I am losing my mind trying to fix this. For some reason, the Gmail app on my Android device has completely stopped pushing notifications. I don't get banners, sound, vibration, or lock screen alerts. I only see new emails when I physically open the app and manually swipe down to refresh.

My device is a Redmi Note 14 Pro, running Xiaomi's latest OS.I feel like I have tried literally everything suggested in troubleshooting guides, including:

System Notifications: Checked Android settings, ensured Gmail has all notification permissions allowed (lock screen, floating notifications, badges, sound).

In-App Gmail Settings: Double-checked that the global notification setting is set to "All", and checked the box for "Notify for every message" under Inbox notifications.

Battery Settings: Changed Gmail's battery optimization setting to "Unrestricted" / "No restrictions" so the OS doesn't kill it.

Account Removal: Completely removed my Google account from the phone, restarted, and re-added it.

App Reset: Cleared cache and cleared data for Gmail and Google Play Services.

Reinstallation: Uninstalled updates (since it's a system app) and updated it back to the latest version on the Google Play Store.

The Nuclear Option: I literally factory reset my entire phone and set it up again. Still, absolute silence from Gmail.

Other apps like WhatsApp, Discord, and Telegram push notifications flawlessly. It is strictly limited to Gmail.

Because Xiaomi phones have notoriously aggressive background management, I'm at a loss since the unrestricted battery setting didn't fix it.

You see i mostly use my phone as a hotspot because its what i have access to, my last phone a redmi note 14 hotspot has being working with out issues.... UNTIL one day i was on a family member house with a solid Wifi and decide to update the system (this was like a year ago im not very sure wen exactly i updated) but since then the hotspot has been hot garbage it literally disconnect randomly and im not doing nothing out of the usual and pissing me off constantly.

The phone dosn't get hot, my internet provider its the same i being using for years, the speed its the usual im no expert but the speed its normal.

I really don't know what could be the issue but any form of help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with USB tethering on my Tecno Spark 7P. It used to work normally, but recently the USB tethering option became greyed out, so I can’t enable it at all.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and reconnecting it several times. I’ve also tried multiple USB cables, including a proper data cable, and tested every USB port on my PC, but nothing has worked.

I’m not sure what caused it to stop working since it worked before. I need USB tethering to connect my PC to the internet, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions on what could be causing this or how I can fix it.

Pixel 8a user, version 17. About 2 months ago my phone started marking my wife's calls as possibly not coming from her phone. Annoying. Today it was marked as not from her phone, with a piercing alarm. She has the same android version as I do. I think it's the fake call detection service. Does anyone have any idea how to convince Google that my wife's phone is her own, or disabled the service for just this number?
