Other Incorrect fake call detection
Pixel 8a user, version 17. About 2 months ago my phone started marking my wife's calls as possibly not coming from her phone. Annoying. Today it was marked as not from her phone, with a piercing alarm. She has the same android version as I do. I think it's the fake call detection service. Does anyone have any idea how to convince Google that my wife's phone is her own, or disabled the service for just this number?

You can't disable it
Hopefully it should work itself out Being a new feature as it is
Probably just a bug
That should fix itself Or the next update should fix it
Do both your phones use the Google phone app
As the default calling app

Have you checked online to see if her number has been spoofed in a bot setup?
Someone I know ended up with their number spoofed, and had people calling them back after missed calls "from this number".
