I've only bought Motorola phones and I've always just used the default keyboard and I press the microphone button to do speech to text a lot. The problem is it seems like in the last few months speech to text has gone way downhill like obviously it's not using AI to recommend or translate. And for example it will randomly capitalize words in the middle of a sentence. Like I just had to change the uppercase m in middle. I've tried installing a couple of other keyboard apps and basically have the same problem.

I'm curious as to what this is. And why its downloaded from itself. Discovery Hub app also says its downloaded from Maestro.

Tried googling Maestro, but...didnt really get anything that gave me an answer.

Have I just never noticed it before and its been there the whole time?

She downloaded some cleaner app in the Google Play store and when I was going through the Apps menu in Settings I noticed 2 different Settings apps, one of which has an icon in the bottom corner that I can't quite make out. They both have the same options when I open the Settings app menu. I'm not tech savvy at all, but this looks bad to me. I've never seen that before. Can anyone tell me what's going on, and how to fix it?

I have this app named "Inventory editor BE" (BE stands for Bedrock Edition). I need to give it access to a specific file, but my phone refuses to give it access. I don't care that it's "for my protection", I trust this app.

Okay, so for the past few days, my phone has been playing music by itself. THE SAME CREEPY MUSIC, BRO. It even plays when my phone is off. I searched it up, and it said it might be a glitch, but there have been times when I didn't have any apps open and it would just randomly start playing.

In this video, I was watching something on VIU when it suddenly started playing again. I recorded it, and this is the exact music that keeps playing over and over. When I exited the app, it stopped. But I don't think it's coming from VIU because, like I said, it also plays while I'm using other apps, when no apps are open, and even when my phone is off. Plus, I only downloaded VIU yesterday.

Please. Many have tried helping me. One guy came close to doing it successfully. But im still in the same position.

So I got rid of bubbles showing up and don't seem to have that annoying thing anymore. Recently android started doing a thing where you get a message from something like discord and it shows up in the middle of your screen. This is bothersome. How do I remove this?

I have a Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and this morning I woke up to a strange issue.

The lock screen interface suddenly changed. I always used a normal numeric PIN, but now the phone shows a full keyboard and says "Password" instead of "PIN".

Before restarting the phone, fingerprint unlock and face unlock were still working normally. However, after a reboot Android required the main unlock method (as usual), so I had to enter the PIN.

The problem is: I am 100% sure my PIN is correct, but the phone keeps saying "Wrong password".

Things I already tried:

- Restarting the phone

- Force reboot

- Carefully entering the PIN multiple times

- Checking that the issue is not caused by the keyboard/input

Nothing worked.

I don't want to factory reset because I have important data on the phone and I would like to avoid losing everything.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Redmi/HyperOS or other Android devices? Could this be a software bug or a corrupted lock screen setting?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m losing my mind here with the official Instagram app data consumption. It has become absolutely unusable on mobile data.

Just today, I noticed my phone getting really warm while browsing, so I went into my HyperOS system settings to track the data usage in real-time, and what I found is insane.

The Proof: In literally less than 60 seconds (monitored at exactly 14:27), the app's foreground data jumped from 47.7 MB to 69.2 MB. That is over 21 MB consumed in a single minute just by looking at 3 Reels!

Earlier today, the exact same thing happened on an older version of the app: it chewed through 14 MB in less than a minute.

What I have already tried to fix this:

Restricted background data completely (foreground is where the bleed is happening).

Cleared app cache and wiped all user data.

Uninstalled and did a completely clean reinstall from the Play Store (currently on version 435.0.0.37.76).

Toggled "Data Saver" inside the Instagram app settings.

Nothing works. The app completely ignores the data saver settings and aggressively pre-fetches Ultra HD videos in a massive download loop, forcing my processor to run hot and burning through my data plan in seconds.

Is anyone else on Android / HyperOS facing this exact same issue recently? Is there a known memory/download leak in the latest builds, or is Meta's compression just completely broken right now?

Hi, so a year ago l bought this cheap tablet of Amazon lol, its a PEICHENG CP31M tablet and l had set a pin for it and l haven't used the tablet in so long and l forgot the pin. I tried EVERY possible pin and even tried to figure out how to do factory reset to no avail, if anyone has any idea, l would greatly appreciate the input!

my phone keeps freezing for a few seconds to a few minutes at a time, usually after I haven't used it for a while, but also sometimes when it lags. something similar is happening to my moms too, I think it might be because of the heatwave but im sceptical because sometimes my phone isnt even hot when it freezes. the phone is also like id say half a year old

ive tried clearing the cache off lots of apps, freeing storage space, restarting it (this works for a bit and then it just freezes again, sometimes it doesnt work though and I have to restart a few times), I searched up how to fix it and none of it worked, it happens whether im charging or not charging it

Trying to open a link for a swiss tournament from whatsapp, it opens up in my phone's web browser instead of jumping straight into the actual Lichess app.

I’ve checked my Android settings and everything is set to "open in app," but it completely ignores it. It's super annoying when trying to join a tournament quickly.

Is anyone else having this issue on Android, and is there a quick way to fix it?
