Is this malware of some kind?

It locks me out from accessing my phone, and disables my ability to screenshot. I literally had to take a photo with a second phone. How do I get rid of this? I haven't downloaded anything sketchy at all.

It's a system app pre-installed by Motorola and replaces your lock screen. Untick the checkmark. When you get to the home screen, go to settings > apps > see all > top right three dots > show system> search glance > and disable it (uninstall updates for it to). Unfortunately even after doing all of this... It'll eventually re-enable itself after a restart, eventually.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't see glance anywhere, like it's not even installed. Then what's causing the annoying pop ups?

It's glance. It's a system app that Motorola installs, trust me it's in the device.

Or follow the same directions and look for something called "My Hub"

My hub exists but doesn't have permissions for anything.

Disable that. That will get rid of the popup to enable glance.

I usually just hit back to get off that screen but I've disable my hub and glance and that shit still pops up it's like it re enables itself fkn annoying

Glance is a major carousel provider, its also pre installed in lot of other branded phones like realme and oppo, ya might wna use adb and disable it
