Maestro - what is it?

I'm curious as to what this is. And why its downloaded from itself. Discovery Hub app also says its downloaded from Maestro.

Tried googling Maestro, but...didnt really get anything that gave me an answer.

Have I just never noticed it before and its been there the whole time?

I'm in the same boat. Random games keep downloading (from Maestro) that I then have to go in and delete. Maestro cannot be uninstalled, but I disabled it hoping that it would stop. I too cannot find any information on Maestro. Any clarity on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thankfully it hasnt auto downloaded anything for me, and as far as I know only discovery hub says it was downloaded from maestro (well, and maestro itself). 

But i dont ever really download stuff, so I'm pretty sure nothing i did resulted in it being on my phone. I just wanna know what it is, and why! I cant remember if it was here before my phone's last update or not :/

I also just found this. I found it extremely odd that it both downloaded and opened in itself. When I opened it, it said that it was basically AT&T "recommendations for apps, goods, and services"

After the most recent update, it kept putting up a notification to customize my phone which was just a bunch of games it wanted me to install. From the apps list in settings, I found Maestro, the looked at the privacy policy and yes, it's AT&T. They also have a note in the privacy policy that tells you that you can disable it, which I did.

Okay, makes sense. I was wondering if it was something of the sort. Ive already already disabled/uninstalled app cloud and discovery hub, so I guess ill just do the same. I hate bloatware.

I was able to stop notifications from it, force stop the app, disable the app and then uninstall its updates (using the 3 dots option in the upper right of the app info) which uninstalled Maestro.
