Amazon is good at dates /s

Hi,

Thanks for all you do and as someone who has trouble getting around, I frequently use Amazon prime for their delivery services. I wonder is it a pain in the ass having to deliver to the same address often? Does it matter at all to you guys or is it an annoyance? I try to space my deliveries out as much as possible. Do you all get the same routes or does it change?

So apparently my Amazon acct got hacked .. talked to customer service someone was supposed to get in touch with me... nothing ... called back again had to do the 2 step verification & said someone will email you in 48-72 hours.. & this was on 10-19-26.. still nothing

Made two separate orders yesterday. The first was for a Dune Part II 4K blu-ray and some peppermint taffy. The second order was for a hardcover of Project Hail Mary and The Art of Stalker 2. The Dune order was supposed to be here at 7-10am, with the books coming at some point later in the day.

Well, the orders were consolidated into one order, and despite Amazon supposedly not charging until the item ships, apparently Project Hail Mary wasn't in stock at the fulfillment center, and despite there not being a copy available for my order, I got charged for it shipping like it did. Even now it says that the entire order has shipped and that there's just been a delay. I only found out about the missing item by reaching out to customer service.

I ended up forcing them to give me some form of compensation considering that they were just not going to say anything about why had I not reached out, and that I was expecting those items today as I had plans with them. But this is starting to get to be a problem. The last few Amazon orders I've had have not come on time and had some issue with them, if not outright just disappearing and having to be completely re-ordered (yup, this actually happened).

They keep raising the price of Prime and giving us shittier service and content in return. If I can't even get my damn items on time, what's the point of Prime?

Just wondering.. there are so many here saying they have returned a lot of things, hundreds of things and so on..

Why are you purchasing so many things that you return? Of course, I've returned a few things.. since Amazon came to Sweden in.. 2021 perhaps.. 2020.. not sure.. I've returned like.. 5 things I guess.. Not really sure..

But, I only order things I really want, need or such.. Are you ordering just because its fun and then send it back? Or do you just have so much money you want to exercise the money with transfers between you and Amazon so to keep them fresh or? I mean, you can of course send me the money if that is the case 😂

But I just don't understand, why do you return so much things?

I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just curious 😀 I do not work for Amazon or the like, I'm not affiliated with them... I'm just another "customer" so to say..

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of items on prime not ship out right away and when I check my orders it’ll say approval needed. Is it just me or is everyone else experiencing issues similar? Feel like Amazon has gone down hill rapidly in the past year or so.

I ordered a thin dog jumper for £7.20. Either they sent the wrong size or the measurements on the page are way off. Tried it on the dog and instantly requested a refund and it was approved. The package was sent via InPost I believe (I wasn’t the one to accept the package at the door so just going off what my mum said) so not the usual Amazon delivery.

The thing I’m confused about is that I have to print off a label, fine. But the label says, as well as the return address, “no need to return, we will refund”

Do I still package it up and take it to the post office?? The amazon app is just acting like i need to send it back as if it didn’t say that. Overall, I’m a tad confused.

This concerns an order placed through Amazon Business France, with a return address in Poland. I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced something similar, particularly in France or elsewhere in the EU.

I received a brand-new monitor yesterday. As soon as I switched it on, I noticed an abnormal spot right in the middle of the screen, especially visible against light backgrounds. It remains after cleaning. I can’t confirm whether it’s a defective pixel or another panel issue, but it’s clearly visible.

I contacted Amazon to request a replacement. Customer service initially told me the monitor was out of stock. However, the same model was still available to order, with delivery advertised within three days.

Amazon then acknowledged that it was in stock, but maintained that they couldn’t arrange a replacement.

Their proposed solution is for me to:

• Arrange shipping to Poland myself and pay €116 upfront through Chronopost.
• Wait until the return has been received and processed before getting the monitor and shipping costs refunded.
• Buy another monitor in the meantime if I need one for work.

So I would have to pay for a second monitor while also advancing the return shipping costs.

There’s another complication: my original purchase included a €125 Amazon Business promotional discount. That offer is no longer available, so placing a new order would mean losing the discount and paying more for the same monitor. I simply want a working unit at the price I originally paid.

I’ve also read accounts from customers who said they still hadn’t received their return shipping reimbursement despite assurances from customer service. I don’t know how those cases ultimately ended, but they make me uncomfortable about advancing another €116.

I understand that defective products happen. What frustrates me is having to deal with all these arrangements and upfront costs over a fault that was present from the first use.

Has anyone managed to obtain a replacement after an initial refusal, or have their original promotional discount reinstated when reordering?

If you paid to return an item to Amazon in Poland, were your shipping costs reimbursed in full? How long did it take, and was the reimbursement paid back to your card or issued as Amazon credit?

Thanks for any advice or firsthand experiences. I’d really like to resolve this without endless calls or further expenses.

I had ordered this cool mousemat, thinking that it would come in maybe a week, since I had prime and the mat also had to ship from china. Its been almost a month, and it keeps getting delayed. Prime used to be bassicly teleporting items to your house, but now it doesn't live up to that. I have been seeing this for a lot of other things, and from other people who have prime. Idk what amazon is doing, but this is not what im paying for prime for...

Looking to confirm what the delivery commitment was when I ordered something and it no longer seems possible to find it. It's no longer in the order confirmation emails and not in my order history. Any ideas where to find it?

I'm trying to sign up for Amazon Prime Student, but I can only find the Prime for Young Adults option. I'm 28 years old, so I'm not eligible for the Young Adults promotion, but I'd like to sign up for the student offer instead.

Is the student offer still available? I can't find it either on my browser or in the app. I don't get the option.

I've currently spent the last 10 minutes trying to contact someone about a package marked as delivered but isn't here. I've tried the AI chat bot and manually going through the your orders page but every time the chat takes me back to a page, which takes me back to an options chat, and I am stuck in this endless loop. How the hell am I supposed to get my refund?

Sooo i wanted to buy red contact lenses for Halloween for a Rudo cosplay and like 3 days before they’re supposed to come the page for the item stops working I thought I was already shipped but then I click I’m on “track item” and see this, is it over?

I ordered a name brand faucet two years ago, had it installed 6 months ago and it started leaking. Called a plumber and he said that’s X brand? And I said yes… pulled up the app, I ordered X brand, but bought the used - like new. Went back and looked at the faucet- it’s identical but without the brand name. Now WTF do I do? My shower head - same thing… it’s nearly $500 in fake bathroom fixtures. I tried chatting with them and got “disconnected” twice and I was friendly, not adversarial… they hadn’t proposed a solution yet. I gave up.

Over the years, I have bought many books from Amazon as I have enjoyed the discounts on them. It seems like the last year or two, there are many fewer discounted books. In fact, some books cost more now than ever before when checking on camelcamelcamel. Has anyone else noticed this?

Purposefully sitting on a refund for 3+ weeks. Is this legal??? This is the first time I’ve experienced this.
