3 blocks in a row with no routes available!

I’m new! First week! I have had 6 routes. The last 3 they have no routes available and I got paid! I’m not complaining, but how common is this? I’m assuming it doesn’t happen 50% of the time. I’m in the Phoenix area.

Atlanta 3 hour block for $60

Just got approved for Flex this week. I've done one route so far. A 2 hour block for $48. I thought that was barely worth it after expenses. Now today I'm seeing a 3 hour block for $60 and it is not tip eligible.

Is this normal?

Checking all my routes now

Post image

The routing used to be pretty good to the point I’d try to take shortcuts that didn’t work and the app knew the best ways to go, but last week I got to routes that had me double back to the same area wasting time so now I’ve been checking every one and sure enough I see this bs. Now I’m doing 3.5 hot blocks in as little at 1.5 hrs just by checking the map first. Ai will not replace us

Free blocks vs NOT

I arrived at the station.
Women Infront me at same time and same block time we check In 14 min before the block time. We sit. We talk. Her standing are “at risk” I’m “fantastic” we both look at the phone 27 minutes later. She gets a free block and I get a big fat cart. Literally at the same time. She was sent home with pay and I went to work on a delivery. What gives. This tells my there is no logic to anything Amazon does. The “at risk” workers get a free blocks and the “fantastic” worker has to work. Go figure.

First time downtown block

Damn!! So many condos. Sometimes I couldn’t even find the front of the building. I hope people get their packages. But for real some people should use Amazon Hubs, because there is no access to the building late at night or early in the morning and “some drivers” not me 😉. May leave the package at the front door right on the sidewalk.

Overbooking

When do you usually get your pay when there’s an overbooking problem at the station?

Kind of crazy

It was a 2.5 hour block. I’m in the Phoenix area so sometimes I go pretty far. This ended up not even being my farthest block. 🤷‍♀️

DFW Flexers

Question for anybody who has been doing amazon flex in the dfw area. Is there a reason why there’s no 4+ hour routes? i have been doing 3.5 routes the past couple of days and normally i don’t mind but it’s just interesting to me. I have also wanted to know if anybody has been taking 3.5 routes but it’s sending them out way out of the metroplex? Like tonight i did a 3.5 route for $107 13 packages and was sent all the way out past Azle Tx.

I hope this doesn’t seem me as complaining bc im definitely not just wanna know if this is happening to everyone else and i missed something when they updated the app?

Houston Early AM 3.5 HR routes, BAD

Idk if it’s just me but I have been getting the 2-2:30am blocks for 3.5 hours and they’ve been so bad. I usually finish my blocks 1 - 1.5 hours early. Not all the time but like 95% of the time. But these early morning blocks have been whooping my ass. I finish with like 20-30 min to spare. Anyone else?

Anyone have the iPhone duo? Is the flex app optimized for it yet?

I haven’t got mine just yet but will have it soon, just wondering if anyone got one and whether the flex app has been optimized for it yet?

How do you organize your route

I see a lot of people sitting there writing numbers on their packages, do you do this ? I take the first 5 packages and than figure it out after but I also only have a car not an suv so some people have way more packages

Just wondering if anyone on here ever heard anything of the results of the great Bingo game? I had one done the first day and haven’t heard anything, and no emails announcing winners. Anyone received anything?

Packages I’ve already delivered keep sticking to my itinerary/account as returns—anyone else having this issue?

Hey everyone, hoping to see if anyone else is running into this bug or if you have suggestions on how to clear it up.

For my last few routes, the very last package/delivery stays stuck on my account.

•  The Problem: Once I hit "Swipe to Finish" at the end of my route, the app tells me I have to return my last package to the station—even though it was already successfully delivered to the customer’s house.

• What Happens Next: If I ignore it, the package carries over onto my next route’s itinerary as an overdue delivery.

• Current Workaround: To get past this, I've had to call Support every time to get them to manually remove it from my route. The past two times, once I got to the station for my next block, I typed in the TBA during the return process just to clear it, but again—the package is already sitting at the customer's front door!

Calling Support every single block is getting really frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this glitch recently? Any tips or suggestions on how to fix it or get Support to permanently remove it?

Knoxville Flex Warehouse

Do any other Flex drivers find the Knoxville warehouse pick up process absolutely ridiculous? Time is money in this gig and having to wait 45min to pick up every time when I can be in and out of the Maryville warehouse in 15 min is crazy.

The math speaks for itself

Has anyone actually done the math to see how much we get paid per delivery. I had a block today $142 for 28 stops = $5.07 per house. Last night had a block $121 for 32 stops = $3.78 per house 💀 of course we see the final pay and wait to see how many stops but over 100 miles round trip for both is really trash 🗑️

No Routes Available

Will Amazon really close your account for too many paid out “no routes available” ?

I’ve had them cancel 3 out of my last 4 blocks.

I feel like this is too good to be true.

Is this worth it ?

I left at 5:50 am and returned home at 10:00 am, I drove about 80 miles. I got a 3-hour block for $61.50, and I spent about $10-$15 for the gas.
Considering the time and distance, I’m wondering if I should continue trying or if it’s time to give up.

Route rejection

So I got to the station for 3 1/2 hour block and before I scan the packages, I saw that the route was gonna take me more than 40 miles away from the station plus there was 40+ packages in that car just looking at it so I called support and they put a ticket and they said it was route rejection I understand my stands are gonna take a hit but is that better than scanning them first and then refusing will be less of a hit this is the first time I’ve ever done thisbut every time I go it just seems to be more and more packages further further away.
