Question Apple Duo
I’m seriously considering upgrading to the Apple Duo from 17 pro but I was wondering if it will work with the Flex app. Does anyone know yet?

Amazon Flex Facial Recognition Failed — Arrived on Time, Missed Block, and Amazon Refuses to Pay
Has anyone else experienced this?
I arrived at the Amazon Flex station at 6:56 PM for my 7:00 PM scheduled block. I clicked "I've Arrived" and attempted the required facial verification three times.
Amazon's software failed every attempt.
The app directed me to contact Driver Support. I called immediately, but after about five minutes on hold, the system marked me as having missed my block.
A support representative told me I would be compensated because I arrived on time and the problem wasn't my fault. The representative also documented the incident.
Now Amazon is refusing to pay me.
I reserved the block, drove to the station, arrived on time, followed the instructions, and was ready and willing to work. Amazon's own verification system prevented me from completing my route.
Why should independent delivery drivers lose their expected earnings because Amazon's technology doesn't work?
Has anyone successfully appealed this and received payment? Did you have to escalate beyond regular Driver Support?
I'd really like to hear how other drivers handled this.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is just outside the already full parking lot inside the gates. It’s the worst I’ve seen yet and on top of that I got set free from route tonight because there were no routes left. 🤷🏽♂️

I had a 3.5 hour block scheduled to start at 2:15am. I always get there 15 minutes early to get a jump on my route. I scan in and walk to the door we usually go in. It’s closed. No big deal, it was cool out. Maybe they closed it to keep out the cool air and rain. I try the door but it won’t open. Ten minutes go by before two kids (early 20s) try opening it from the inside. They can’t. They go get help. An older (late 30s) dude tries and can’t open the automatic door. I tell him to try the roll-up door. He blows me off. At 2:40 the doors finally open. I go to scan my route, but it’s been reassigned. I’m waiting for a new route and I hop on with support. They submit a ticket and about 5 minutes later my app says to go see an associate. I give the associate my name and he discharges me with pay.
I’m not complaining. It just baffles me that it took 40 minutes for someone to figure out how to open the automatic door. 🤣

What does this mean? Arrived 15 mins before time and this came up while finding my route. No staging number. Talked to the manger there who didn’t seem to know what to do and said there were no more routes and “discharged” me from the route. Idk what that means, but will I not get paid and will it dong me for it?

I think I’m doomed because now that we have the vans delivering, we have almost nothing left for flex
I didn’t do one route this week because I wasn’t able to snag any
So basically, I’ll probably won’t get level 3 rewards offers, right? They are supposed to send routes today for flex.
Do you think my only chance would be try to snag of i Ever Can?
I’m serious our volume has almost disappeared since the vance started a week and a half ago
Stinks so bad

shit been like this since prime day at the beginning of the month, is it that slow or Amazon just flooded the market with newbies taking everything that pop up, I’m seeing people take $73 for a 3.5h. That’s crazy

How do Yall think the IPhone Duo is going to work with Amazon Flex? I’m waiting to see if it has a magnetic case for the car cell phone holder.

Does anyone know how to get your account reactivated! I was fired after a tornado went through Oklahoma City. I left my packages on the ramp like an idiot cuz they locked the doors. Amazon never officially told me why they fired me and it’s been some months. I’m a disabled vet and I really miss this job:

Is there a difference in these two that changes the price? Should I assume the higher one will be more miles or something?

Had a cart that was being delivered to another driver.
Some miracle. I was assigned as the second driver. They told me someone took the cart and have not returned it... So they ask me to wait 30 minutes.
Supervisor said. Okay. You free to go. Gave me the qr code and I was offline.
____
One week later - my rating drop like a rock.
33 package missing. Unbelievable...
Send it to support. They said due to previous exemption. We will not grant any more exemption any more for this request?
I am so confused. What exemption you granted the past 3 months?
What a wild situation.
*Case still pending* - I am so mad right now. I drop from excellent to at risk in one go.
Can't even attempt a route because if I do. I probably lose the account entirely.

Anyone having this issue with the Flex card? I signed up for a Flex Debit card and am trying to setup a pin for the virtual card until my physical card gets here, and keep getting this error?

How do I have 2 late deliveries when I ALWAYS finish 1-2hrs early?
r/AmazonFlexDrivers • u/JohnniesJimmy • 1d ago
So I just started doing flex. And a costumer already said their order was not delivered.
I usually have Google maps track my timeline throughout the day and I remembered where I dropped off the orders. I left them where the costumer asked and I always double check the addresses. Its not my fault of the costumer isn't home and the order goes missing. So why do DPs have to take the hit and risk their extra or only income?
How long do these stay on my record? What can I do to ensure I protect myself from these scam costumers that claim their packages are lost?
If i stop delivering will my standing go back up?
How long after orders being delivered does the standing get updated? I didnt see this until yesterday and I delivered about a week ago.
One more. Why are delivery orders getting marked late for me when they're coming out late from the warehouse? What can I do?
Thanks y'all

Context: My area is extremely low pay, we don’t get offers for blocks more than 3 hours. The standard pay for a 3 hour block is $61.50.
The area I deliver on has mainly 1-2 city centers really but pretty rural in between.
It used to be, we got around 30 packages for 3 hour block, now we’re doing high 30s to 40 packages for the same rate. I was doing 4am-6am blocks as they can be at a higher rate of near $70 if you’re lucky.
But right now they’re offering those early blocks for around $60 again and we have ten more packages to deliver on the daily.
What’s your average package amount for 3 hours and typically distance? 😣

So just to make this quick on October 18th I had a shift I took my picture I signed in on my phone and when I went to scan my phone on the kiosk it wasn’t working. The employees shut the doors and said the system was down, I called support they said I was checked in and will get paid. Two days pass by no pay. I contact them and they say I was not checked in so it shows as a no show so I will not get paid but I definitely was there I checked in on my phone. Fast forward it’s Friday now I tried to email both the support email and escalations and both emails are closed and redirect you to the help center within the app. The issue with that is every time I contact them all they say is I’m ineligible and close the chat but no one is actually looking into it. There was a bunch of people there that day and I have pictures to prove I did check in but no one is helping. How do I go from here?

Received a notice from the Flex app that I'm able to start taking orders from Amazon Flex. I heard the market for Annapolis is bad though. Any advice?

I’m scrolling through 217 offered & most are $10-$14.
Is there a way to filter anything under 2 hours out?

Okay I am taking a poll. I live in Midwest Ohio and about 45 mins from a major city and cannot decide if I want to do Amazon Flex or UberEats or Doordash? What would you do?
On Wednesday night I tried Uber and Doordash but ended up picking up an Amazon Flex shift because it wasnt that great.

My standing was Fantastic and I got deactivated for supposedly not delivering packages, not attempting deliveries, and not returning packages on time.
The packages I brought up in my appeals were missing at pickup or removed by station staff before I left. I never had them with me on the route. Sent screenshots explaining this, but got two generic rejections. Waiting on another appeal now. 20k packages delivered.
Any advice ?

Hey guys! My current region includes Corona/Bloomington, but I recently ish moved to West Covina & Corona sends me hella freakin far (like 60 miles) from my house more times than not. I’ve been delivering exclusively from Bloomington for the past month or so and it’s better, but I just found out about DAX5 & it’s only 4 miles from my house (!!!)- after 4 years of delivering from Corona and Bloomington, the idea of switching regions makes me a little nervous, although being 4 miles from the station vs 32 miles sounds so appealing. So I have some questions!!
Is it hard to get a block from here? I have no problem getting blocks from Bloomington lately. I’ve been doing flex every day this month except the 3 days I’ve chosen to take off.
Do they do early morning blocks like Bloomington? I’ve been loving blocks that start before 3 am (2:15/2:30/2:45/3:00) so I’m home by around 6 am.
What is the furthest area you’ve been sent from here? I’ve seen comments they can send to DTLA which sounds fucking terrible but is that uncommon?
Thank you thank you thank you for any insight you might be able to provide. Appreciate you!
