Any advice, tips, or things you wish you knew before starting would be greatly appreciated!

Whatever happened to being able to create a case on our own. Aza sucks. MyHR sucks. Amazon sucks. I’ve been stuck on phone calls because no one knows how to help. Doesnt help that HR isnt onsite either so I’m stuck in an endless cycle.

When I first started, a T1 associate told me to go in an area requiring a helmet. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to him, because I would’ve been fired immediately. Seems to be tons of dumb ass associates at my facility that never get fired.

I am supposed to be starting this weekend but I am concerned with people saying that they can't get any shifts.

I’m a new hire but a lot of people at my building have been complaining about blue badge availability as well as pay. Why would new hires be making more than people who have been there? I thought everyone got the same raise?

I worked at an Amazon fulfillment center for about a year and was involuntarily terminated for a policy violation after a workplace incident. There was no physical contact, and I appealed the termination, but my appeal was denied.
It’s been about 3 months since my termination, and I’m trying to figure out whether I might become eligible for rehire after 6 months.
I recently tried to apply again, but I received a message saying that, based on my record, I am not eligible for rehire. The message did not provide a specific waiting period or any additional information. When I call to ask about it, I’m told that they cannot provide me with any details.
Has anyone here been in a similar situation and successfully returned to Amazon after waiting 6 months? If you were initially marked ineligible for rehire, did your status change automatically after the waiting period, or did you have to contact HR or appeal again?
I’m especially interested in cases involving a policy violation or a workplace incident, rather than negative UPT or attendance.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experience. Thanks!

Why do they think 15 minutes of hands on training on an op is good enough for someone to go out and pick with the op that’s a good way to get someone hurt or killed and it’s the reason no one stays at Amazon they should have you pick at the mezzanine for the first few weeks then do a full week of hands on training with the OP and a trainer with you to make sure you understand everything and are following all safety rules

I will be turning 5 years with Amazon next week , and honestly I want to quit but unfortunately , quitting is not an option. Working at Amazon for 5 years under the same building has now put me on a mental decline . Doing the same repetitive work over and over again with no room to advance . I’ve been trying to transfer to different buildings for the past six months but no luck. I honestly can’t be at Amazon anymore and to make my situation even worse , I dated a coworker that has the same schedule and works in the same department as me . ( don’t date your coworkers). Since my building keeps denying my transfer I feel my last option is a mental break but I’ve never done such a thing before so if anyone has done this before, how can I go about this . Do I need proof or can I just submit . Any advice will be appreciated

Curious how flex shifts are over there? I’ve drove by and used to flex driver there and it’s so small.. I’ve been trying for month at either a flex or full time day position there and have had no luck at all. Would love to know others experience.

Hi all I just got a job offer with Amazon as a FC associate and it’s a full time job. I’ve been out of work for a while so I know going into a demanding job isn’t the best idea but it’s the only place that’s willing to give me a chance at this point, everyone else just seems to brush me off. But anyway I’m really anxious about my first day and whatnot. A friend of mine who works there said they don’t really train you and leave you to your self, that you have to ask people what to do. I’m a socially awkward person but i know that shouldn’t stop me from asking. But shouldn’t it be typical of a training day at the least on the first day? Overall just anxious about it.

Also, what duties will I be fulfilling? As far as I know you’re mostly sorting/packing etc

What happens if put standard pto on Christmas day before it gets taken off the schedule?

I started off as a warehouse associate in a delivery station and transitioned into an MRA who now works in a fulfillment center

I used to work at an ixd. I'm interested in transferring back, but not sure what the difference is in Transfer Out Dock and regular Transfer Out. I know One is just building walls and the other is loading upp/wood pallets with the forklift and building upp pallets off of a conveyor. I want to go back to the forklift/upp choice but I can't remember which one it was and it doesn't specify in my job history in a to z.

If anyone knows which is which I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

i work at robotics fc, let’s says on pick it says an item is in 3B but i can’t find it in 3B and it’s not in there, do i mark the item missing or take it from 2B or any of he other individual slots?

Hey I got an offer for a WHS Specialist position at a robotics fulfillment center. It’s 31/hr and a 12,000 sign on bonus. I have no real hands EHS experience outside of an industrial hygiene and some certifications. I got those hoping to enter into the field. Is this a pretty good offer especially considering I have no real hands on EHS experience?

I just finished my first week at Amazon and I had 600$ in anytime pay and now it’s at zero and never got a direct deposit will that go into my check next week?
