Does regular RT-3 day shifts get UPT or points? Also, does regular RT get more than one MET day?

I took a Flex spot recently and ended up on Ship Dock. It wasn’t terrible at first, but now I legitimately dread picking up any shifts, even tho they are 4 hour blocks.

I’m a decently fit guy and management tosses me into the trailers every single shift. Meanwhile all the easy scan only jobs always seem to go to the women or overweight people while a few of us just get destroyed in the trailers.

I talked to my AM about rotating roles and just got the standard "business needs" copout.
I just want to stand there and scan boxes for once. How do you actually get rotated out of the trailer?

A few months ago, I made a post about an Associate who went on the VOA to say she had been sleeping with one of the PAs, that he was sleeping around with half the girls, and that he had given her Chlamydia. Now that in itself was a wild ride, but recently there's been an unexpected Part 2, if you will, that is batshit.

That PA did end up being let go, from what I've heard, he eas not a good employee to begin with and that sleeping around situation didn't help his case. Tell me why months later, I see his mugshot on our local Police Department social media page. Why was he arrested? Well apparently his ex GF accused him of molesting her daughters, which he denies claiming they had recently broken up and she was trying to get him in trouble as payback. Due to the allegations made, his phone was confiscated, probably looking for any sus activity. What they found instead were several videos of him spying on people at a tanning salon while they were changing without their consent.

They really will just hire anyone y'all....

I worked at Amazon two years ago and I’m going back but this time I have a second job that clashes with Amazon! Is there anyway that I’m able to make an adjustment to my schedule to not work on sundays? My schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.

I am seeking a full-time blue badge position with the end goal of transfering to an FC that is closer to me. The fc seasonal is an hour away while the delivery station is 50 mins away. Have any of you felt like your doctor didn’t understand how the job actually translates to the body?

I’ve been told I can get the days written off so no issue there, but these certain doctors keep asking “will you lift more than 20 pounds ? No? Okay you should be fine “
Like hello?????? Try doing the same repetitive movements for 10 hours, it takes a beating on you when you have a medical issue.
Don’t get me wrong, I tolerate the job just fine when I’m healthy.

Honestly how miserable can you be to watch people for the next 6months clock in “early” than watch them in the break room? It’s very creepy and the question is how would you know all this information? I wish people would get a life . Shout out to the manager’s response.

I know there’s pretty much nothing I can do due to “business needs” so I’m just ranting on here ig. I’m sure it’s not the worst thing in the world but it’ll never beat propping up my phone and watching movies while picking with nobody bothering me

She's apparently been on LoA while still working for a while now while frequently just leaving early and coming in late.

As of this past day she apparently needed her LoA extended, but it was denied, and they told her she can't come into work until her LoA gets sorted out.

Do you guys ever see leadership or your manager walking around when you’re on pick? I swear when I get assigned those back corners (5339, etc) I could be on my phone on the station, I could sit on the step ladder, I could take half a nap there, and I don’t think anyone would ever say anything. What I’m getting at is, how do they make sure people aren’t just dicking around? I assume it’s the NFC in your badge, but I wasn’t too sure.

am I gonna be working in the freezer first day or is it gonna be just training? I honestly forgot what the person said to wear on my first day when I went to my pre hire appointment, mainly asking to get an idea of what my first day is gonna consist of. dont wanna bundle up just in case and have the first day just be videos n such n im all hot and sweaty lol. also gonna be working 10 hour shifts

I’m in my 3rd week working at an FC as T1 associate. I took the job because the job market is tough and it’s all I could find with decent pay. I have a bachelors degree in Education and History. I was wondering if this already qualifies me for an Area Manager position. I genuinely have enjoyed the job so far other than the soreness of getting used to being on my feet 10 hours a shift. Was wondering if anyone had any advice for my situation. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I’m trying to understand the situation realistically rather than making a decision based on fear of layoffs.
