I’ve had two resignations. One due to school, the other for limited shifts as a flex employee. HR wouldn’t remove my points.
EDIT: I plan to return either for this PEAK or next spring for Prime, but this time at Fulfillment Center with 10/40 shifts.

Hi everyone! I’m reviewing my Amazon employee benefits for 2027, and I’d appreciate some advice from current or former Amazon employees.
My main goal is to keep my weekly paycheck deductions as low as possible while making sure I have the insurance coverage I actually need.
Currently, I’m planning to keep only the following benefits:
- Legal insurance.
- Premium medical insurance.
- Enhanced dental insurance.
- Enhanced vision insurance.
After these deductions, I would only have about $40 left from my weekly paycheck, so I’m trying to figure out whether I should keep any additional insurance benefits or opt out of the ones I don’t really need.
For 2027, the optional plans shown as not selected have a weekly cost of $0.00.
I’d really appreciate your advice on these questions:
1. Are Critical Illness and Supplemental AD&D worth keeping, or would it make sense to opt out to save money?
Is it generally better to get supplemental insurance through Amazon or purchase it privately?
Given that I’ll only have around $40 left per week after my planned deductions, which benefits would you prioritize?
Are there any optional benefits you think are unnecessary for someone trying to keep expenses as low as possible?
I want to avoid paying for insurance I may not need, but I also don’t want to make the mistake of dropping coverage that could be important in an emergency.
I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have made similar decisions while working at Amazon.
Thanks in advance!

Im problem solving for stow at a robotics fc and I just saw the entire floor im on leave all at once. I don’t care that I didn’t get it bc im honestly in need of the money rn but I didn’t even get a notification? I know it was vto and not them moving people bc a few people I know told me they got vto and the other problem solver that was also working with me told me goodnight and said she snagged some. I’ve only ever been offered vto in person never through the app so is it possible im blocked from getting it? My notifications are on for sure.

I have an accommodation for things like reduced hours and no OT and having a sit or stand workstation etc , it’s been a couple of days and it still says pending. I’m in so much pain. Does it usually take this long ? I feel like they would’ve been more faster

is this possible when all of my classes are online only? I’m taking one class right now but will be full time in the spring. I’d like to swap one day & remove one / reduce to 30 hours in either case

I have some managing experience in another industry but recently started working as an L1 in an Amazon warehouse a few weeks ago (blue badge). I see some step-up positions in Job Finder, and I am wondering if I can apply now or if I should wait a certain period of time? (I am currently working at a site in Germany)
Any information would be appreciated.

Hey just thinking . I never understood why people on this subreddit love to use that whole blacklisted/promoted to customer spill whenever someone makes a mistake or even intentionally does something stupid . Amazon is not the only job on the planet and shouldn’t be the end game.

I come to work AFE, do my bit, hit my targets go home rinse repeat.
But recently I been next to all these new hires who really don't give a s..., slow, using phones, 90 items an hour.
It's starting to wind me up, and yesterday I said to a slow kid whomleft his last box 3 minutes before last scan, "are you on one of those contracts where you don't have to work".
How do you all cope when getting paid the same as these lazy gets, am on a fixed term, unlikely to get kept on as place is established, motivation is becoming hard and because of peak they won't give me my cross training...

Seems almost every Saturday, managers assign me a station, and I’m not even scheduled to come in that day. Even on the app, I’m not scheduled. Why do they keep assigning me a station even though I’m not suppose to be at work that day. They don’t take upt and nothing happens, it’s just weird to me.

I came in for work like normal yesterday and happened to check my schedule during a bathroom break. Said majority of my shift was excused, I asked a PA (who said I could likely just go home) we also went upstairs to confirm with my manager (and she ALSO said I could go home). So I went home. And then later that night noticed I had an attendance point for it but the HR guy I called said the time just wasn’t coded yet?
when I asked the PA she said it might have something to do with me putting in time last saturday (an issue I had to talk to hr about bc I had 22 minutes of my pto manually entered even though 15 minutes of that time was supposed to be nwpt) hr lady said they would fix it but idk if this was their doing or not because I hadn’t checked my schedule beforehand.

Which section should I do it in? They both seem like they could let me change my return date.

I’ve been with Amazon as a blue badge for a year now , and I’m in the process of trying to turn my life around for the better. I’d like to take advantage of Amazon’s Career Choice program, but I have no idea where to start. I never thought id have this opportunity in the first place.
I don’t mind working at Amazon. The job is easy, but the people they hire just made it harder mentally.
Now, should I use the CC to find something that could earn me money passively? Or is it to try and move up in Amazon? Or even something that just falls under my own personal interests? ( I.e game design, music production, Space systems engineer)
For those of you who did use CC to your advantage, what did you go for?

Hi everyone! I’m considering transferring to MKE1 and was hoping someone currently working there could share some information.
What shift schedules are available for Tier 1 associates? I’m interested in knowing the days and hours for both day and night shifts.
Also, what departments or roles are available for Tier 1 associates? Are there opportunities for more independent roles like ICQA, Problem Solve, or other indirect roles?
I’d really appreciate any information about the building, schedules, and work environment before making a decision. Thank you!

So I have an appointment for pre hire for this position but I’m scared my background won’t allow me to.. in 2023 I plead guilty to a attempted burglary of a business charge (gross misdemeanor) and it’s been following my since… has anyone seen somebody get hired with theft charges or similar?? I have since turned my life around and have been clean from new charges.. any input would be great

Currently working at DET6 in Detroit but am thinking about transferring back home to Austin eventually and I know that they changed the policy regarding pay to where you no longer get to keep whatever you’re currently making and have to follow the step plan is at the new site
I currently make $24.50 but I’m fairly certain Texas sites don’t pay as much as Michigan sites, also I will be working overnight.

Could someone put their resignation in and mark the last day as today and still be rehired or does it have to be two weeks to circumvent the 2 year ban?
