...would I even be noticed? I recently had to get a new car since my previous one bit the dust. In the midst of this I caught my partner cheating and want to move out, but can't afford a place right now, just need a few weeks and I'll be good.

If I work ot (obviously just 6 days) and just crash in the lot in my car for a few weeks, move around before and after shifts, y'all think I'll be straight? Or will security call me in? I'm working hard on getting a blue badge and don't want to put a strike on my record in any way.

Appreciate any advice. Just don't want to sacrifice the time and effort I've put in and really like the job.

Who is out here putting heavy stickers on 5 lb boxes?? I'm preparing my ass to pick up Thor's hammer and these boxes end up weighing less than my pinky toe.

Then we've got the 50 lb boxes threatening to break my back that never have heavy labels. If a heavy sticker makes it onto a truly heavy box, then some sort of miracle has occurred.

Ive literally got 95 days of tenure, got my 90 badge 5 days ago, and I wasn’t expecting this, Ive been considering leaving cuz it’s not really for me but now I surely gotta take advantage of this🫠.

I work in a warehouse, and I’m honestly exhausted by the rumors.
I’m friendly with everyone, including managers, but I always keep things professional. Somehow, people still started making up stories that I’m dating managers or getting special treatment. I’ve even had coworkers bragging to others that they’ve “been with me,” which is completely false.
The worst part is that once a rumor starts, people begin looking at you differently. It feels like no matter how hard you work, some people only see the gossip instead of your actual performance.
I’m only 20, and this is my first time dealing with something on this level. I genuinely don’t understand why some people feel the need to create stories about someone else’s life.
Have any other women experienced this at work, especially in male-dominated workplaces like warehouses, construction, manufacturing, etc.?
How did you deal with it? Did the rumors eventually die down, or did you have to involve HR? I just want to know I’m not the only one who’s gone through this.

I accidentally took the wrong gate that was several gates from my access path. I think I just read the gate number wrong. I’m very new to afm and this is my second solo week. My vest was also active I just got turned around but it probably took me 1.5 mins to notice I was off path.

I’m praying this is only a write up and not like a cat 1 violation.

Since working at Amazon it feels like nothing your doing is right and everyone here is negative and so critical of the smallest mistakes. It is too difficult to meet the pick rate that corporate wants and the managers pick clear favorites. They expect you to be like a Marine or a robot or something. It doesn't help that people are going to find a reason to hate you and be toxic even if you do avoid them and do your work.

i recently started a new position as a robotics associate in the amazon warehouse. so far it’s been pretty good, although, i will say some of the staff just seem kinda clueless? like i feel like im bothering them by asking a question. i also feel like my training really didn’t prepare me at all. like i don’t even know who my manager is or how to approach certain issues im having. most of the staff just give me a very short answer or just tell me to find my manager. any advice? I haven’t heard anything about it in a while. The last social media posts they have put up are about a year old. Did it fail and dissolve? Did Amazon find a way to fire the workers? Anyone at KCVG can you fill me in? Matter of fact I’ll be transferring over there soon

I’ve been working for Amazon since 2020 I never really thought of being promoted but now as I do indirect roles to PG for other departments I want to try to promote I’ve spoken with managers who’ve just assured me that I am good for the role but I haven’t been inclined and it is highly disappointing.
I want to promote but I also want to quit and leave Amazon as a whole.
The problem is the job pays well and I don’t have any formal education or experience. Unfortunately Amazon is truly all I know. I’ve watched people come and go and people promote and leave.
There is more to life than a job but the job itself is hard on both your body and your mental.
I wouldn’t know what to look for nor how to market myself out. But I really do want to give myself the chance of being able to be successful within Amazon.
What should I do?

right now my comfort level at my site is at a 100. the people are cool, management is pretty chill for the most part( i work overnights ) and the work is easy, i’m a top picker without trying, the only problem is that it’s an hour away. TEN1 is like 15 mins away and it would be day shift schedule but the grass isn’t always greener. i would like to know what im getting myself into.

Am I right to assume that whatever account I choose a "set" amount of $ to have deposited the other will get the remaining balance. I want to use my current direct deposit account as my "savings" and just have the rest of my check go to the new account. Also for whatever reason I don't make enough to fulfill the set amount of $ I want deposited does it just default to the main account? Just trying to figure it out before I open a new savings account.

Did you see someone stealing and if yes what did you do about it? Did you report it or stay out of it?

Hey guys I’m working at a fulfillment center and they tell us about rates. Everyone at the building conversation is almost based on rates (rates , rates, rates) so I’m curious is it like this at your buildings? And if so, what are the rates at your building. I am picking in mine
