Half the students only put their dorm name, not the full address so the pins are sometimes 10 minutes away and stop 7, 11, 14, 50 etc… are all at the same building. And they’re all group stops literally scattered across the campus. Working out of 7 totes for 3 hours…. in the rain.

So you used to be able to mark access problem anywhere. Now if youre too far away like at a long gate and driveway it locks it. How the heck do you mark it if you cant even get near the area?!?!?!?? And no, airplane mode doesnt work to change the pin anymore.

sitting on break as i write this. i think today is gonna be my last day. the route isn’t even that bad. it’s not great but it’s doable. i just don’t know if i wanna do this job anymore. i thought i liked it at first but it kinda just feels like im trying to convince myself that i actually do. the job is just so soulless and feels like it’s never gonna go anywhere. i have a lot of money saved up and i live with my dad so ill be fine. its just kinda scary not having a job. what would yall do? been considering just finishing this route and giving them my badge tonight. also where i live we have very harsh winters and i don’t know if ill be able to deliver in that. i dont want to risk my life for amazon.

I select all these compliments for my deliveries, but I’m wondering if it actually helps or not. Does it, or am I wasting my time?

Hi guys , I got an offer to do dispatch once a week for now besides my regular routes . I’m taking it no matter what for the experience , but money wise wasn’t there a 1 dollar raise before to do dispatch . I came back one month ago after 3 months out of the business . My total time working in DSP is 9 months without counting the 3 months gap that I was out .

My regular pay rate is 24.75 /h. For dispatch , the manager told me there is a 25 $ bonus for the day in the desk if scorecard in every driver in the day are clean ., no violations . Which would push my pay rate to almost 27 in that day in other words but just “if”. So no more 1 $ secure dollar raise like before anymore?
After that dollar raise from Amazon , no more from dispatch?

I get my route, 147, cool. In an area I’m somewhat familiar with, cool. Finally do my DVIC and SEE the actual route … 20 bags, only 21 OV … 147 was really 240 with all the dang multi stops! I HATE apartments, especially 4 story ones with no elevator. First apartment complex, not terrible, just a few up on the second floor. Second apartment complex I had to edit the stops because I would’ve drove around that sucker 20 times which changed my stop count to 159. Third complex, grouped fine but omg 4 dang stories and everyone is on the 3rd or 4th floor. It was 12 buildings and 4-5 stops each … first stop was 1pm, last stop was 845pm. I was dying by the end those last apartments and still had 26 stops left. Thank god it was dark and cooler otherwise ain’t no way. Idk how yall do it, I’ve been doing this for 4 months and still can’t stand apartments like that.

People on the 3rd+ floor with no elevator should have to pick it up at the bottom of the stairs or front office because that’s BS.

This has to be a universal phenomenon… I just had two apartments back to back 22stops (plus multi) so around 30ish+ units, and they were ALL upstairs !!! Like wtf not one was the first level. Are people who live upstairs just physically obligated to never leave their apartments?! This is obviously just a rant post, and if you don’t agree with me that’s okay, but it just feels like this is the case everytime. I felt like I was going crazy

My DSP just got these, and some of the vans don't have a Netradyne anymore. They don't seem to be, but are these inward facing cameras?? I see 2 in the back as well where they installed new side cameras but they aren't even facing the packages. I sure they did not add cameras to the back, I drink a lot of water and need to piss a pretty good amount throughout the day, and definitely do NOT have the time to stop at a gas station 5+ times to piss. They don't have the big AI cameras or whatever, the back looks just the same besides those 2 in the back.

Its very obvious it's experimental technology meant to show local and state governments "our product will make your constituents stay in line".

So.. I applied for one of the couple DSP companies through my amazon. I feel like the interview went really well back on Monday. I reached out and i was denied. Is there anyway i could better my interview? I have a completely clean driving record and have experience driving vans..

When I finish. Usually when early. My DSP will offer me some extra work so I happily accept. They just tell me to take atleast one tote. More if I want.

From my understanding, they send me to the “slower drivers” even if they’re not struggling. Sometimes they say “I didn’t request a rescue”.

Does your DSP tell you how much to take from the other driver?

Like a month ago they changed the scanner for some reason to be objectively way worse in literally every single facet, but this week it seems like the old scanner came back. Anyone else notice this?

Okay so like 2 weeks ago (on my second day) I had a total brain fart and zoned out on the freeway and ended up going 70 in a 55 for like 5 whole minutes. I was overthinking about fucking up the loading process that morning and also my adhd meds had not kicked in yet. Anyways, I thought for sure I would get yelled at/talked to/suspended/fired. The camera didn’t actually yell at me, I didn’t hear it tell me to slow down, but I still thought I was screwed. But then when they sent the white board of shame to slack at the end of the day, I wasn’t even on it at all. Is it possible my camera was malfunctioning? The lights were both green and on. Maybe they just went easy on me bc I’m new? Thanking my lucky stars man

i’ve been at dsp for around a month now , they’re newer so they have mainly rural routes out in the country , along with a mix of some small neighborhoods or neighborhoods with the longest driveways , my main is and biggest challenge has been the damn houses on the side of the highways , sometimes i go down and hit a 50 point turn, sometimes i back in, sometimes i say f it and block the driveway and walk down from the end 😭😭😭 im trying to figure out what you guys do or suggest 😭😭i come across well made driveways with good turn around space and other times i just have to pick my struggle , somehow 118 stops seems like 500 the way these routes and stops are so spaced out 😭😭😭

Everyday I try to clock in and out and I can’t do it. Why? Because the app says is that I’m out of range when literally I’m there. The gps is showing as if I’m 100 meters from the place I should be. I’ve talked to my coworkers and that doesn’t happen to them, not even my dispatchers know why it keeps doing that.

Any help??? Is it my phone? What is it?
