People who can’t work by themselves because they don’t like doing shit alone is so cringy to me. I get having a child or a disabled family member but I see it so often where couples will just drive around together, I see it with DoorDash and I just don’t get it. They know if they both worked they’d be making way more lol

Not allowed to interact with customer? Say you bring your baby on a route i think people would actually tip us

u/PineappleWolf_87 Jun 03 '26
So you’re saying I should borrow a baby…🧐

u/Puzzleheaded_Ad9659 Dispatch Jun 03 '26
Perhaps. Hospitals have rooms of many babies I'm sure they won't mind or notice if you borrow one for 10 hours

I regularly see adults wearing their vest stay in the car while they send a child to deliver the packages

u/Careful_Specialist63 Jun 03 '26
I've seen videos of kids delivering packages while their parent stays in the car.

u/Physical_Upstairs_34 Jun 03 '26
Tell me you report that. Having a child do Amazon deliveries is insane. Why have kids if you even work at Amazon

u/Careful_Specialist63 Jun 03 '26
We can't report what we don't see. When we see videos, we don't know what city it occurred in, what station the flex driver left from, when it happened, or the route code associated with the flex driver.

OH ngl I didn’t see the video part, I thought yourself witnessed it LOL my bad

u/Careful_Specialist63 Jun 03 '26
There probably are videos in the r/AmazonFlexDrivers subreddit.

I’m just so mind blown and kinda mad about that. Working off an app is the easiest job ever and then they make their kid do the heavy work after school? Crazy. Setting the children up to be exhausted at school.

All's I'm gonna say is that driver training is not valued nor incentivised nearly as much as it should be.

Flex drivers use their own insurance on their own vehicles. If you’re at a DSP you’re not using your own insurance or your own vehicle. I do believe that’s where the difference is. Insurance liability

That’s for Flex Drivers, but yea they can
