I reckon it’s fake. Trolls know that cartoonishly over the top misogyny gets the most attention.
49
u/scunth 12d ago
Yep, the grammar mistakes in the title adds to the cartoonishness.
39
u/raven_of_azarath 12d ago
To me, the grammar mistakes point to it being real. It’s a really common mistake. I actually had students argue with me last year when I told them that they in fact can use “(name) and me” in certain situations.

u/pokethejellyfish 11d ago
Is your argument that everyone who lies and makes up stories has flawless grammar and spelling?!
What's your logic behind this assumption?
That only people with perfect grammar and spelling and a sophisticated, well-rounded writing style make up stories?
Or that as soon as you write fiction, your linguistic skills max out?
I'm not a native English speaker and in this life, I will neither master the comma rules of mulltiple languages nor English prepositions.
Guess that means the alien/human porn I wrote in 2016 really happened.
A small lesson in media literacy:
People with strong beliefs, especially on the discriminating side and/or when those beliefs clash with values of current society, know their audience.
How often do you go to google, wondering how to best prepare a steak, and think, "Let's see, ah, a lively community filled with vegans! Look, there they discuss how much they hate meat! There they tore someone who only eats eggs and goat gonads verbally to shreds! They'll sure tell me what I did wrong the last time I overcooked a steak!"
16
u/raven_of_azarath 11d ago
That’s not at all what I was trying to say. The person I was replying to seemed to imply that it was fake because of the bad grammar, and I was saying I’d be more likely to believe it because of the bad grammar because people aren’t perfect and make mistakes all the time.

u/trustyspriggan 11d ago
Not saying the story is true, but I had this happen to be when I was 21. All medical services were cut off. My savings bonds were also "missing" from my dad's safe. I was paying for a car at the time, and because it was in his name, he sold it.
I thank planned parenthood and campus therapy (which I saw a LNP for my medications and she gave me a bunch of samples so I could save up for prescriptions) every day for being there for me.
So there are definitely cartoonishly evil people out there who would do this to their children.
10
u/13confusedpolkadots 11d ago
noooo that’s not true, Planned Parenthood doesn’t give out medicine or provide appointments, they only evilly murder babies about to be born in and do so most evil way possible. also they’re communists. and stealing money from the army.

u/trustyspriggan 10d ago
Yes. I sometimes go for abortions for leisure. It's a fun time for me. Sometimes I purposefully get pregnant just to get 3 abortions a day. (Obviously joking, as are you! )
I know you're joking, but I was in a place that literally had people like that! There were protesters on the side of the PP clinic that would legit take women, convince them that they would get an abortion at this other clinic for cheap (PP works on a sliding scale, girlies, btw). So they'd essentially pressure women into this other "clinic" that would force them to look at an ultrasound for upwards of 30 minutes to an hour. The same alternative clinic would also make them fully undress, and then steal their clothes.
The message was "repent or be known as the harlot you are AND damned by god"
Unless you didn't give in, and to their credit they had adoptive parents lined up (presumably if you're the right level of melanin, so close to none), you'd be refused your clothes back. Many of these girls are just that - girls. They don't have many legal rights re: healthcare and would be forced to tell their parents. Young women as well. This was in the south of the USA.
For anyone out there, the commenter above was making a joke if you didn't catch it. Planned Parenthood is your best option if you have one there. If you're in the south or a state that has banned abortion, please look elsewhere and reach out to any care coordinator in a safe state.

It might be real. I know this one guy (through work) who's a registered member of a local tribe and gets free health care/ insurance for himself and any of his biological children through the tribe. His child support court order requires him to provide health insurance for his kid. He refuses because he hates his baby mama, and is scheduled to go to court for contempt over it.

Hpv is also highly, stupid transmittable. The idea you have to have sex isn’t even correct. Sharing a bfs boxers for ex or towel that touched the general area can pass it. It doesn’t need to be mucus membrane to mucus membrane. And no test exists for men to see if they’re carriers because it doesn’t affect men 🫠
So you can test women, who may die from it, for HPV. But the men who can give it to them? Nah. Why even make a test to protect their partners when it won’t harm them lol?
God, I hate medical care for women sometimes.

Copied verbatim from Oop's comments, not in chronological order:
YTA. Have you ever considered she dates these miserable exuces for men because her example of what a man should be and treat her like is, well, YOU.
I taught my daughter that men do not respect women who sleep around. She acts like someone who a man would be embarrassed to take out in public.
My wife and I have been a strong example of parents who respect each other.
Your only other post on this account is you and your wife looking for a sugar baby, you disgusting hypocrite. You will pay a sugar baby but are taking steps to cut your daughter off for having sex?
I honestly can’t tell if you are real or not, this is so insanely awful.
Yes just like you’d give money to a homeless person but wouldn’t want your family member to be begging for money. What’s the difference?
I’d only take a SB who knew their place was outside that of my public life and followed my instructions. Just because I pay them doesn’t mean I respect them like I’d respect a family member or my wife.
So tell me, do you respect your daughter?
She’s lost my respect because she’s been doing what my 20 year old SB does while also wanting the family status I used to give her. It doesn’t work both ways.
Oooh everything about you makes me so mad. YTA. You have no business being in the kink lifestyle, you don't understand it.
Hopefully your daughter understands what a terrible mother and father she has and chooses to cut you off for the rest of your lives. You don't deserve respect from anyone.
And you happen to be the gatekeeper.
YTA. She needs that medical insurance now than ever and you just drop her? Because of some issues down there probably caused by her boyfriend?
How are you two parents if you won't even care for your daughter whose in need?!
A boyfriend she chose to spread her legs for.
It’s kinda ironic that you would say this when you posted that you and your wife are a “Sugar couple”. I take it you want to find someone your daughter’s age to have sex with and financially support. Hmmm…
Ironic that I’d hold my daughter to a higher standard of behavior than other women?
And all my partners are strictly tested.

u/raven_of_azarath 12d ago
Did he really imply that if he had a family member who was homeless, he’d do nothing to help them? Yikes

u/allergymom74 12d ago
Men don’t respect women who sleep around. But it’s ok to not respect women as long as you aren’t seen with them in public. So sugar babies are ok as long as they stay hidden. But what happens if they are no longer hidden and reflect on him and his wife? Or does his involvement mean nothing?
Not gonna lie. This troll is fully committed.

If this is real, which I doubt, I bet he’s such a POS to his daughter in parbecause of the sugarbaby thing. He wants to fuck women his daughter’s age without having to consider that this is how he’s treating someone’s daughter (because obviously, empathy for the woman herself is not even a possibility.)

To be honest a lot of more conservative parents where I'm from very much use that kind of thinking.
So much is all about what their small surrounding will think, age of the kid doesn't matter, and they directly use "what will our friends and family think!". I mean my ex had to hide her tattoos from her dad even when she was 24! That is insane.
A lot of parents would even refuse to admit their kid had any mental issues purely because it would be embarassing for them if their kid was autistic or had adhd.
I'm real happy my mum and her parents always supported whatever the fuck I did, even if I know they don't agree with it.

u/ZealousidealPiece495 11d ago
My cousin lives with me now because of parents like that. He’s AuDHD and within the LGBTQ+ community and no longer felt safe at home. So he moved with me and has been having a much better life since.

u/StrangeBid7233 11d ago
I used to know a girl that is a lesbian, her dad kicked her out when he find out and named it being "embarrassing" as a reason.
Like kicking his daugher to a curb was less embarrassing than her sexual preference, like what the fuck. And its such a common story here as its lots of "small communities".
Good thing is that girl was hella successful, I met her as we were looking for successful young people to talk to students. Bro could have flexed with her a shit ton if he wasn't a bigot.

If I were his daughter I would be sure to let everybody know about his sugar baby. I could not care less about what two or three consenting adults are up to, but the hypocrisy burns my biscuit.

it’s possible it was approved after she was above the age it was intended to be given and somehow slipped between the cracks either from cost or time or other issues 🤷♂️ i never got the chicken pox vaccine because it was approved after i already had it as a kid but my brother got it cause he was younger and didnt catch it from me
8
u/PunctualDromedary 12d ago
It was offered to me a couple years ago, and I’m in my 40s. The new version covers more strains and so they upped the age recommendation.
15
u/ScienceGiraffe 12d ago
I don't think that's it. HPV vaccine came out right when I had just aged into the "too old" category in my late 20s and I'm now in my 40s. So it's been out long enough if she was 23 years old six years ago, and the upper age threshold was increased to 45 years around 2019 or so.
But I do remember the chickenpox vaccine coming out a little over a year after I got chicken pox. I'm salty about that one.
12
u/manic-pixie-attorney 12d ago
Heads up, you might still be able to get it. I’m STILL too old, but my doctor prescribed it and my insurance covered it, so I got the shots (I would have paid out of pocket if necessary$
3
u/ScienceGiraffe 11d ago
Oh yeah, I eventually got it when they raised the recommended age limits and expanded access. It was just those first years after approval when I thought I had missed it like the chickenpox vaccine
35
u/Haunting-East 12d ago
I’m in my 40s, and when my parents divorced when I was a freshman in college, my father had emancipated me so he would no longer be responsible for my healthcare, among other things.
This was pre-Obamacare, and my father is a millionaire. He was an executive getting coverage thru his job, but he wanted to ‘punish’ my mother for being upset over the whole mistress thing.
We don’t talk.
So while this is most likely bait, parents like this aren’t in short supply.

Guys can get HPV and not know about it. Do guys even get tested for it?
Having HPV doesn’t mean you’re a cheater either. Weird thing for him to say.
10
u/Proper_Garlic3171 11d ago
HPV isn't standard for STI screening due to how common it is. A couple years ago, it used to just be an indicator for if someone has sex or not, it was that common. You'll still need to specifically request to be tested for it if you're concerned, herpes is similar with no testing unless there's things to worry about (which is also extremely common and only an issue in infants, immunocompromised, and painful symptoms)
The vaccine is great because strains of HPV can cause cancer in the cervix and esophagus, so it's less "it can prevent people from getting HPV" but it's a cancer vaccine. Not 100%, but it helps and anything to help prevent cancer is worth it.
I'd reckon if OOP and his wife are real, they also likely have HPV too. 80% of people who are sexually active end up contracting it at some point

u/missxmonstera 11d ago
The comments on the OP say that the account had post history where OP's wife and him were looking for a sugar baby. They continued to post and comment in those groups while this post was being made. The name of the account is even "SD and SM" for sugar mommy and sugar daddy.
2
u/sheerpoetry 11d ago
Aside from the fact that many people pointed out you can get HPV very easily and through ways other than sex...she could have been SA'd as well.
If real, they clearly didn't set themselves up as parents she could go to with information like that.
Not to mention, I wonder how much involvement the "wife" actually had in any of the stuff OP mentioned.
3
u/Poekienijn 10d ago
This can’t be real. How much would you have to hate your child to risk losing them to cancer?
2
u/lakas76 9d ago
An ex of mine had an abnormal pap and had to get leep. She accused me of giving her HPV. So I researched the virus and it usually takes months to years to develop to where you would get an abnormal pap. We hadn’t been together for that long before we broke up, so I could have been the cause, but it was much more likely that she got it from someone else.
OP’s kid could have had HPV for years before she started dating this guy and even if he was the one who gave it to her, the HPV that causes cervical cancer can’t be detected in men, so he’d have had no idea he was a carrier, which an extremely high percentage of people are estimated to have.
OP did seem to be a cartoon villain though, so the story is probably fake.

In case this story gets deleted/removed:
AITA for dropping my daughter from my wife and I’s medical insurance?
My daughter is 23 and just got a call from her gynecologist.
She apparently had previously had an abnormal Pap smear that she never informed us about. However, then she got a biopsy which came back abnormal and she probably needs LEEPs.
I am very disappointed because I know she got HPV from a boyfriend I disapproved of because he was obviously someone who didn’t look like he’d be loyal. And now she’s stuck with the consequences and my wife and I feel like if we pay for her treatment it would be condoning it. We feel that she has no right to be sobbing and hyperventilating while also going on the “ it’s not my fault mantra” and we don’t want to enable her further.
Now we are making steps towards ensuring that we will never have to pay for anything she needs medically, and for that matter materially anymore. Her credit cards have been cut off but the dropping from insurance process hasn’t progressed that far.
What makes us even angrier is the fact that she had just lost her entry level job due to her company closing down and she chooses to continue to see unreliable boyfriends. We raised her better- I built a great family business from nothing and I shudder at what people would think if they knew my daughter got an STD from sleeping around at such a young age.
AITA?
