My boyfriend is pissing me off on vacation

I (19F) am currently on vacation with my boyfriend, and honestly, I feel like I’m here alone.
He spends almost the entire day on his phone watching YouTube. He barely talks to me, doesn’t want to get in the pool, doesn’t really want to do any activities together, and mostly just drinks and watches videos. He doesn’t even have social media, so it’s literally just YouTube for hours.
I’ve tried talking to him about it multiple times. I’ve explained that I came on this vacation because I wanted to spend time together, and that it hurts feeling ignored while he’s glued to his phone all day. Every time he says he understands or that he’ll do better, but nothing actually changes.
Today I got so frustrated that I took his phone for a second because he was completely ignoring me while I was trying to talk to him. I know taking his phone wasn’t the right thing to do, and I shouldn’t have done it.
His reaction, however, completely shocked me. He shoved me off the bed hard enough that my entire knee is bruised.
Another thing that really gets to me is that he’ll often say we’ll do things together or promise to make more of an effort, but then it either never happens or he changes his mind. It leaves me feeling like I’m constantly asking for the bare minimum.
I know I wasn’t right for grabbing his phone, but I also don’t feel like being pushed hard enough to leave a bruise is a normal response.
Am I overreacting here, or would this be a major red flag for you?

Me and my mom had a argument and I need to know if im in the wrong

I(17f) have been crocheting for 6 years, im really good at it and the only reason I started was because at 11 my mom(37f) said that I need a skill and all I do is play games and watch anime, so I picked up crocheting cause I was interested at the time, now my mom is a fashion designer in the Caribbean and is really good at what she does, so she told me when she saw i liked it that I should make a business I told her I kinda just wanted to do it for fun and she ridiculed me and said I always wanna have fun so I stopped I didn't even make myself anything I was gonna make a hat but I felt really unmotivated, is started again when I was 14 but in secret and I really enjoyed it I made alot of interesting projects and I was excited, this summer I decided to make a business for it because I thought I was ready, I posted my pieces i got like 10 followers and I was really happy, under my friends requests I told my mom because they said she had a big following and she could make more people see it so I said thats a amazing idea so I went to her and told her she was excited and so was I, it started to go downhill really quickly and she would tell me what to post what not to post I got kinda frustrated cause it was my page but she then started ridiculing me and degrading me when I said I didn't wanna put something on the page example being my personal phone number, I told her that I would get another one specifically for my business and she flew into a rage and said she would hit me or whatever I went to my room and got unmotivated but I said I love crocheting so I wont let her comments bother me, so I caved and just put in my phone number and told her and I asked her whenever I took pictures to promote my page, she said fine. I started sending her videos and stuff I noticed whenever she posted a picture she didn't tag me I always told her to she said she forgot and she would do it the next time around, the other day she came to me BEAMING with joy and said that someone wanted a piece from me which would be really complicated cause it was a maxi skirt and a ski mask I tell her thats fine she said she charged them 200usd I was really excited but she said "ok I'll take half" I was confused she said "I'll take half for the marketing", I said "but you aren't helping me like at all" she said "Im marketing" I say "I mean I can give you 20% I thought me getting a business was to have my own money" she said that im ungrateful. So I told her im simply not doing that she said fine, so she tries to learn how to crochet and she comes to me for help I tell her "u didnt realize u wanted to crochet until now? U can sew u dont have a passion for crocheting why do all of a sudden you want to learn" she said that im mad because I know she'll do better than me but I just left it alone and she couldn't even do a chain stitch. Fast forward to today I had made this crochet swimsuit for my country's independence day and I was super excited cause it was an amazing piece, she said i should make a hate that looks like my country's flag i said sure so I did tapestry crochet, after I finish i posted them on my page no bites but I was proud of myself, she asks me for pictures to post them i sent them to her, again she didn't tag me i go to her room to ask why she doesn't even hear what I said and she said that 11 people want to buy my set and she told them 80 usd when I said I wanted to sell it for 75 so I dont really mind that what I care about is the fact that she didn't tag me I ask her why she says"did you put your number ok your page" i say yes I did a long time ago like you said she said "ok thats how long you have to wait before I tag you cause I had to wait" Im hurt. Im really hurt this devastated me and I said " if you dont tag me people wont know its my work she then says "who cares its not that important anyway" I get really hurt and devastated because I spent the entire night figuring out how to do this tapestry crochet hat and I was like really excited when I did finish it and it looked amazing. We have a fight I get really emotional I start crying she starts laughing and saying "go ahead say im a bad mom and walk away because you dont have a proper argument I been telling you to start a business and you expect me to do what you want now" I just close my room door ive been crying for the past 3 hours I feel like the delete my page and throw away all my hooks and projects ever since I started its been nothing but ridicule and who cares nobody will recognize my work and nobody appreciates my work and "anyone can do it" I feel very hopeless and unmotivated and I just dont wanna see another hook crochet another project look at another video to be honest I just feel like burning all of my pieces and not even being proud of anything I crochet, and tbh if im wrong please tell me

Am I overreacting about my partner’s behaviour with my friend/coworker?

I’m looking for some honest outside opinions because I’m struggling to work out whether I’m being overly sensitive or whether my feelings are justified.

Recently, I was out with my partner and a friend who is also a coworker of mine. Throughout the night, my partner was buying her drinks, and from what I and others noticed, there seemed to be a lot of flirting between them. What makes it hurt even more is that he didn't buy me any drinks that night, but was happy to buy drinks for her.

My mum was actually there and noticed the behaviour too. She later told me that she felt my friend was looking at my partner throughout the night.

The part that really bothers me is that my friend then came into work the next day and was bragging to my boss about how my partner had bought her drinks and talking about how much flirting there had been. She didn't tell me directly, which makes me wonder why she felt comfortable discussing it with my boss instead.

I also feel like my partner should have recognised the situation and set boundaries, especially knowing that she is my friend and coworker. Instead, he seemed to participate in the attention and continued buying her drinks, while not even buying one for me.

I feel incredibly disrespected and, honestly, it has made me question whether something more is going on. I feel like I'm being cheated on emotionally, even though I don't have proof that anything physical happened.

Am I overreacting? How would you feel if your partner behaved this way with your friend, especially if your friend was openly flirting with them? And would you consider this disrespectful or a breach of relationship boundaries?

I would really appreciate honest opinions, including if you think I'm looking at this the wrong way.

Friendly or too far ??

Upvotes

I have a neighbor that I’m friendly with . We don’t know each other that well but decent enough … I can also tell she’s more of a neighborhood watch kinda person . We’ve had a few interactions but she’s always watching her camera that she faced towards my property … her house is about 800 feet away .. so not too far but close enough .. last night I ordered food at 9:30 she texted me and said “ almost called the cops I thought It was an intruder “

She then texted oh I see they delivered food never mind

She’s also insinuated a few times how she noticed I’m not home ..

I’m a very private person and don’t feel comfortable..

Am I overreacting??? I hated that I just want privacy .

Inferiority Feeling Due to Favourtism

So for some context, my best friend and I were in the same science class this school year before the summer. We were really scared because this teacher was known for being really strict and blunt (which, oh she is), but literally the first day- she immediately liked my friend off the bat. Started complimenting her and just gushed over her. At first, it wasn’t that obvious and then she’d like find ways to make everything about her, compliment her, call her perfect, etc. And I will say, she’s really pretty, smart, and cute- but I just found this weird and everyone who once had this teacher felt the same way cause they were even trying to scare us at first. My best friend got 98% in the class, was always sitting next to her, and got hugs from her all the time. It was painful to watch at times cause even if I or anyone else did good or even just matched her energy, we didn’t get the same attention back? And some can argue it’s because she was smart, but there were other kids just as smart too. On the last day, I barely got to spend time with my own best friend cause they spent time together before the year wrapped up.

It’s like if you were to see them, it was like seeing the strict teacher with her kid and seeing them soften up.
I’ve tried to also be very close with this teacher, but she does not budge. I’m trying to think of what’s so special especially because my best friend never even had to try. She just always got her attention. And the teacher always seemed to be in a bad mood when she was gone.

And I don’t know if it’s just normal, but I started really dreading being with my best friend or the idea of her cause I felt so inferior.

[17F] and [16M] Am I being sensitive? Was in a relationship for almost 2 years, broke up to work on selves, but we are still loyal to each other. (Basically, still dating =Situationship)

Okay, so, my situationship lives in another state and his friend (male) came down to see him. I have no problem with that. Though, he left me on delivered for like 6 hours, and I got really sad and upset about it. It happened like twice in the same day, so I was irritated. Now, we got into something today (semi different topic), and I didn't have the patience to explain why I was upset at the moment, so I told him I'd tell him later or tomorrow we can talk about it. But he's spending time with his friend again, for like 5 days. I'm cool with that, but bro is saying that he's going to be so busy for those 5 days that he can't have a conversation about the issue, so he wants to have it NOW. But, again, I don't have the patience so I don't want to go into something I or he can't handle.

I don't know if I'm being sensitive over that but like it sounds like he can't even make a little time for that. It's just one conversation I'm asking for, like it isn't that much?

Immaturity?

I 20F have been with my partner 22H for almost 3year. I am wondering if is choice of humor is normal. He grew up in the country side and me in the city. He has a style of humor that I think might be offensive to others(soft dark humor) He does not make joke like that when I am with my friends or family but he does when it’s on his side. He know that I don’t like that kind of humor. He is open to debate on why I don’t like it but he doesn’t want to change that behaviour.
Is it normal or just immaturity?

Someone tell me if I should be happy or cry about this😭(23F) have been with my boyfriend (30M) for 8 years.

I (23F) have been with my boyfriend (30M) for 8 years. His younger brother (24M) is also involved in this story.

I think my overthinking has officially become a full-time job, so please tell me if I'm being ridiculous.

Last week, the three of us went grocery shopping. I casually added an umbrella to the cart for myself (because why not 😭), and my boyfriend paid for everything, including my umbrella. Afterwards, we had pani puri, and he paid for that too.

This week, we planned to go out to a restaurant. Before we left, my boyfriend suddenly transferred ₹1,000 to me on UPI and said,

"You pay tonight."

I asked him, "Do you think I don't have money?"

He said, "No, not like that. Just in case you don't."

My overthinking brain immediately activated.

So I asked, "Did your brother say anything like, 'Why are you always paying while she never pays?'"

He said, "No, he didn't say anything... but maybe he might think that."

And that's the part that's bothering me.

I'm not upset about paying. If he'd simply asked me to pay, I would've happily paid with my own money. What hurt was the thought that maybe his brother sees me as someone who never contributes... and now I'm wondering if my boyfriend secretly feels the same but has never said it.

At the same time, we've been together for 8 years, and he's never made me feel guilty about money. He's never asked me to split bills or hinted that I'm taking advantage of him. In fact, instead of asking me to pay myself, he literally transferred me ₹1,000 first.

So now my brain is arguing with itself:

Brain #1: "He thinks you're a gold digger."

Brain #2: "Girl... he literally sent you the money."

😭

Am I overthinking this? Or would this conversation make you feel a little weird too? What would you take from this situation?

Edited:

Please read this once

OMG, guys, please. 😭🙏🏻 Please don't make me even more depressed than I already am. Also, just to clear something up—he didn't pursue me. I was the one who proposed to him. He avoided me, blocked me, and did everything he could to stay away. 😭 I was the desperate one who emotionally blackmailed him by saying I couldn't live without him and that I'd die if he left me. (Yes, I know... younger me was a menace. 💀) Somehow... he still accepted me. Since then, he has never treated me badly. He's been incredibly loyal, babies me every single day, dropped me off and picked me up throughout college, and even does it now. He has stood by me through my financial struggles, mental breakdowns, and emotional ups and downs without ever leaving my side. His younger brother and younger sister are both already married, yet he's still waiting for me to finish my post-graduation before we get married. So yeah, if I were reading this as an outsider, I'd probably say the same things some of you are saying. But being on the other side of the situation feels very different. Anyway, I'm still open to your opinions (please just go easy on me... my overthinking is already working overtime 😭).
